Book and you won't regret it. Space traditional local food

An exceptional restaurant from all points of view, we had lunch today, coming specifically from Bergamo with a couple of our friends, having also only booked yesterday. The owner went out of his way to organize a table for us even though it initially seemed that the place was full, taking the trouble to call me back to finally confirm his availability to welcome us. Not a very large and intimate place where you decide to encourage feeling good at the table by ensuring large spaces between one table and another, thus renouncing the need to insert one or two more in favor of the comfort of the guests present. This is the first very positive aspect that I would like to underline and which makes the visit pleasant and intimate also from this point of view. The owner, who is also the chef of the restaurant, guides the guests with great knowledge and skill in choosing the dishes, all strictly in line with the local culinary culture which are prepared expressly respecting the right times with a view to a lunch which is to be understood without hurry but absolutely not slow. The quality of the raw materials at the highest levels and their manufacturing ability leaves diners extraordinarily satisfied without hesitation from appetizer to dessert. Interesting winery that also winks at some particular and less known labels but always of excellent quality. I often travel for work and here I found the trattoria that in my imagination I always hope to find but which unfortunately I now find more and more rarely. Don't be fooled by the name "trattoria" which is more than correct as regards the hospitality and interaction of the owner with the guests but perhaps "reductive" as regards the preparation and realization skills of all the dishes tried. Correct bill and in line with the quality of the dishes with prices clearly presented at the beginning of the meal. What can I say, a truly satisfying and pleasant experience, we will certainly return very soon despite the over 60 km to travel to get there from our home. It's worth the 60+ km.... Paolo Marino

Location “semplice” e super accogliente. Locanda famigliare, super tradizionale con prodotti del territorio di altissima qualità. Titolare molto professionale e simpatico. Posto consigliatissimo.

Ottima cena con piatti della tradizione ma davvero ben cucinati, 4 portate provate tutte eccellenti, poi ho assaggiato il gelato (buonissimo). Il titolare gestisce la sala a modo suo,ma non gli scappa niente e sa ben consigliare i suoi ospiti, a noi il suo stile è piaciuto. Prezzi leggermente sopra la media, ma giustificati dalla qualità offerta.
