06/06/2024: What is a Roman doing in Cremona? I don't know, but in this place run by the chef with love and passion you can discover some "gems" of the cuisine of the eternal city. Recipes revisited according to tradition, more than honest prices and very careful choice of ingredients. Coda alla vaccinara will be added to my dishes from now on as a "guiding spirit". The chef also stops at the end to exchange a few words, to explain the dishes and to remove or add curiosity to return again.

29/07/2024: Si mangia in un cortile a fianco (sotto) la statale. Personale gentile e sollecito. Spaghettoni al ragu d'oca, letteralmente crudi e impermeabili al ragù che, invece, seppur molto asciutto, era buono. Baccalà alla vicentina, allappante, senza sapore ne gusto, ma ahime non senza odore. Ho sbagliato tutto lo so, avrei dovuto prendere la carne alla griglia. Ma per 45 euro a testa almeno non mangiar male....

06/08/2024: Had dinner on a Saturday evening. Nice place, adequately spacious and tidy with an outdoor terrace. Friendly and helpful staff as well as smiling, and that's no small thing. Excellent quality of dishes served. The cold cuts appetizer is perfect. Superior meat tartare. Excellent shrimp tagliolini. Nothing to complain about. The only flaw, although nice but it can be improved, the half liter water bottles are plastic ones and do not match the service and the place. Fully promoted.

28/07/2024: We booked inside because it was very hot outside and when we arrived the air conditioner was off and was never turned on. We didn't like the much-vaunted risotto. I'm sorry but I don't leave positive feedback

11/08/2024: I had been trying to book for a long time and we finally managed to have lunch in this restaurant which is located in a beautiful garden. The dishes are those of the Crema tradition and are made with excellent quality and well presented products. Very helpful staff and good value for money.

04/08/2024: Fantastic experience. Delicious traditional food from Crema (tortelli) but also from Lombardy (yellow risotto, cutlet). Very kind staff who supported us in everything (we had two disabled people in the group who needed assistance). Excellent prices. Thank you and we will be back soon!!

The quality meat is excellent, but above all the processing and cooking are perfect. It definitely deserves to be tried, prices a little above average, but you know you pay for quality.

15/08/2024: Ogni volta che torniamo da Giacomo nella bella piazza di Pizzighettone è un a conferma. L'insalata di gallina è davvero straordinaria così come la competenza enologica del proprietario, celebre sommelier, e la amichevole accoglienza. I risotti sono sempre superlativi. Cucina tradizionale ma rivisitata con rispetto, ricca di maniacale attenzione alle materie prime, attenzione ai dettagli, piatti sempre buoni. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo. Viene voglia di tornarci.

20/04/2024: Quello che ha contrassegnato la mia esperienza Da Bassano è stato proprio il titolare, il Sig. Bassano. Persona seria con una spiccata dose di simpatia. Gestisce in prima persona il locale coadiuvato da una signora, immagino la moglie. Qui si fa cucina del territorio molto genuina e curata. Tre particolari che mi hanno colpito: il menù scritto a mano e raccontato dal Sig. Bassano, la carta dei Caffè fatti con la moka ed il bigliettino da visita del ristorante scritto a mano, pezzo unico della mia collezione. Per antipasto nervetti tiepidi con cipollotto (ottimo anche il salame cremasco che ho rubato a mia moglie), e per secondo faraona disossata con crostoni di polenta (faraona tenerissima, spettacolare). Dessert in carta molto interessanti ma non provati causa mancanza di capienza. Per chiudere, come detto, la chicca della carta dei caffè preparati con la classica Moka. Conto corretto di circa 40€ per quanto sopra indicato. Ottima esperienza e grazie al Sig, Bassano per la cordiale ospitalità.

19/08/2024: Delightful place, clean and well furnished, the structure has been completely restored. The staff is kind and polite. Good quality food and well served. Right quantity. Prices are slightly above average but in line with gourmet restaurants.

11/08/2024: A very good restaurant in the very center of Cremona. For dinner, shrimp tartare, beef tartare and octopus were served. All dishes were very good and the combinations of ingredients were interesting. It's not a cheap restaurant, but it's worth it.

11/08/2024: In this restaurant they offer a beautiful combination of the solid Cremonese gastronomic tradition and contemporary creativity, in which contrasting flavors are harmonized with a certain mastery. Like the fattiness of eel with the acidity of fermented vegetables or the sweetness of pear with the flavor of sardines in saor in a Franciacorta risotto. The linguine with fish sauce and prawn tartare are also delicious; the aubergine with tomato and burrata and basil cream reminiscent of Neapolitan parmigiana is very delicate. The bottle of wine is also excellent, always a Franciacorta. In the dining room the service was very courteous, although with some small inattention. The bill reflects well the quality of the experience offered. We are in the Baptistery square of Cremona, a truly particular historical and monumental context, which certainly gives added value to the stop in this restaurant.
