11/01/2026: We met Genni and Michele through fortunate circumstances. I must admit that they are truly two genuine, honest, and very nice people, unlike any other you've ever met. Then we learned that they ran a wonderful restaurant, La Vecchia Cascina, and from there, we were curious to try their cuisine. It was a wonderful experience. We went with three couples of our friends, and everyone was very satisfied. The food was truly delicious. Thanks again to Genni and Michele and their very courteous and knowledgeable staff. 03/01/2026: A perfect business lunch in a cozy setting in an internal courtyard. Traditional Cremonese dishes, well-cooked and plentiful. Friendly service, but with the restaurant full, a little less attentive. Recommended for lunch.

18/01/2026: A lovely and charming place. I celebrated my 25th birthday here in May, and the atmosphere was definitely not like it is in the summer... a bit dull. We were a nice group of people, but the selection of drinks was limited, and in the end, we ate very little for what I spent... more than €400 for 10 people. Hmm, I'll only go back for an aperitif, nothing more.

23/11/2025: We visited this agriturismo in the heart of Crema to try the pumpkin tasting menu, and it was a truly excellent experience. Each course was meticulously prepared, creative, and full of authentic flavors: a true tribute to this seasonal ingredient. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and meticulously maintained, perfect for a relaxing evening. The service was impeccable: the waiters were kind, attentive, and always available, with a quick but never rushed service. A place that combines quality, professionalism, and atmosphere. Highly recommended!

20/08/2025: Last night I tried this restaurant for the first time (the summer opening is in Casalbuttano at the former Osteria La Grande). There were two of us; we each had a first course and a second course shared. Everything was delicious, and the place was truly lovely. We paid €58 (with water). Highly recommended restaurant ☺️

The lonzino tonnato was good, but the sbrisolosa with zabaglione was disappointing. Fair prices, very professional and helpful staff. Highly recommended!

02/02/2026: Excellent Osteria in beautiful Cremona. I ate regularly at Il Foppone when I lived here 20 years ago and I couldn't wait to revisit with my partner. So, so glad that we did. Full of local people, which is always a good sign, it's a great place to eat as the food is fabulous. We visited on a Saturday evening, were taken to our table, ordered the classic half a litre of house red, sat and chatted and chose our food. Waitress was kind and courteous, food was absolutely top notch, we were left to take our time and enjoy. Excellent price for the quality of food, would highly recommend and will revisit when we are next in town. Sadly we had only 3 nights in Cremona so didn't have chance to visit again as we were here Saturday to Tuesday. Keep an eye on opening times as it is closed Monday evening and all day Tuesday. Highly, highly recommend for excellent food.
