There were 11 of us eating at Jacopo's and we arrived really late. The staff and himself welcomed us with great professionalism. The place is the classic trattoria where you eat like at home. The spaghetti with sauce for the children was like grandma's, these were the comments. The ricotta and spinach tortelli are sublime. The mixed roast and mashed potatoes were exceptional. The desserts are a journey of ancient flavours. Coffee biscuits as small as a teaspoon. Everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail to make the guest feel at home. We will be back very soon.

Very comfortable and family environment, excellent food and very competent chef. It is a quiet environment ideal for spending an alternative Sunday in the heart of Cremona.

Un posto dove semplicità fa rima con bontà!!! Indimenticabili gli agnoli in brodo, così come il misto dei bolliti. Il posteggio comodo antistante il locale ed i prezzi in linea con quanto mangiato definiscono il tutto.

Con amici cremonesi abbiamo pranzato in questa caratteristica osteria. Ieri era il primo giorno della nuova gestione. Devo dire che abbiamo mangiato gustando i sapori della tradizione, arrosti, bolliti, ed affettati, tutto da 10 e lode. Complimenti davvero ai "ragazzi" che hanno intrapreso questa nuova avventura; continuate così. Il prezzo.....assolutamente in linea con quanto mangiato. Se siete da queste parti, vale una sosta.

Osteria Locanda la Mangiatoia

29/03/2024: We ate on Sunday 04/24/2024 at midday upon reservation. Characteristic restaurant in the Cremona countryside with adjoining accommodation. Typical cuisine, fabulous red radicchio and scamorza risotto, perfect cooking, unique dishes (risotto with knot and mushrooms), braised bacon with polenta, mixed grilled meat. Generous portions, prompt and fast service. Place run by two very nice, easy-going and fast young sisters. Prices normal. Highly recommended. We will be back again...
06/03/2024: Inn with beautiful internal and external spaces, absolutely recommended for those passing through Cremona but also for those who want to try a new experience. Gnocchi with a perfect flavor and consistency, I was surprised by the ostrich fillet with green pepper (pictured), which I found delicious. First time I've tried this meat and it won't be the last. The inn also offers an accommodation formula at excellent prices, which I am curious to try with company in the future. The staff is friendly, approachable, but still precise and professional.
