18/07/2025: My family and I have been frequenting Pettirosso for about twenty years. We can say it's our favorite restaurant. The excellent Chef Rossano, Mrs. Emanuela, who is truly kind and the perfect hostess, and Mr. Simone, who is equally kind and very professional, always make us feel welcomed, pampered, and at home. The difference (compared to home) is that the cuisine is top-notch; the Chef's dishes are always delicious, never boring, and sophisticated; the service is always attentive and classy. For us, it's the best in our area: keep it up, and thank you for everything!

20/06/2025: Gran restaurante con verdadera cocina italiana, y un gran servicio. Ambiente agradable y grandes recomendaciones con maridaje de vinos a los platos. Recomendaría encarecidamente pasar por un bocado de comida.

22/07/2025: In terms of flavors, I had a surprising culinary experience. There were several flavors that were carefully thought, prepared, and presented to my tongue gradually. Five stars for the presentation of the dishes by Sara, who does it with great passion. The ambient is also very nice.

06/08/2025: Their beef is absolutely perfect, the one for two people is especially outstanding. It’s important to note, that their prices are somewhat higher than average. Staff is really friendly and charismatic.

16/06/2025: Unfortunately, exceptionally, I find myself writing a not very positive review. In particular, the dishes that were not exceptional, namely the potatoes at the base of the octopus were raw and tasteless, the first courses were also tasteless and of low quality from the point of view of pairing (I had to add oil otherwise the tagliatelle were difficult to pick up with a fork). After the first course, there was no waiter who asked us "is everything to your liking" ... "would you like something else" ... in the end, after 20 minutes with the first course plates empty, I had to ask the waiter if he could kindly take the plates away and proceed with the rest. The dessert was good ... 1 out of 5 pleasant. My children's strawberry ice cream had pieces of ice in it. Well ... the location was a positive note. Maybe I was not welcome ... maybe I had 3 children ... who made less noise than the adults at the adjacent table. Have a good evening!

10/07/2025: Questo posto gode di una vista eccezionale sul lago di Como. Se pranzi in terrazza ti ritrovi sopra Bellagio godendo una vista unica. Penso che la vista sia nel conto finale non proprio economico. La cucina è curata, il servizio gentile e veloce, il menù non ampio ma sufficiente per gustare le specialità lariane. immancabile il risotto col pesce persico e i missoltini con la polenta. Il conto è risultato piuttosto caro considerando i piatti e che abituati ai conti dei ristoranti di Milano ci ha fatto pensare che la vista sia inclusa nel prezzo.

31/08/2025: We had dinner yesterday as a group. The pizza was really good, but it was a shame about the service. After almost an hour of waiting, the pizzas were served hastily and impatiently, making it difficult to tell which one was which, making it difficult to know who was serving. Furthermore, the waiter's slightly ironic comment ("maybe there's a delay") seemed unprofessional and out of place in a context where customers had already been waiting a long time.

15/08/2025: A Como institution! The pizza is fantastic, as is the food. The entire staff is exceptional!

08/08/2025: 5 stars! Why? Because it's a tiny restaurant, very charming, one of those where time seems to have stopped! We saw they made pizzas, but that day we were craving pasta... of course! No problem! The lady told us very kindly! A few minutes later we had spaghetti with ragu, rigatoni cacio e pepe, rigatoni alla puttanesca, and spaghetti with tomato sauce just like the little one in the house wanted. They also gave us some slices of pizza to make the wait shorter! ...and all with a smile! I recommend this restaurant 100%! I would eat here every day of my life! Thank you so much! It's always a pleasure to eat well and meet such kind people like you!

22/06/2025: Truly delicious food! During the week (Monday to Friday), they offer a set menu with a main course, a second course, water, wine, and espresso—all at a really fair price. On weekends, you can either choose a set menu or order à la carte. I had fettuccine with porcini mushrooms—super freshly prepared and absolutely delicious! The menu is small but fine. Overall, a friendly place with good food and fair prices. I'll be back!

01/06/2025: I had the pleasure of having lunch (on Sunday) at this restaurant in Como and the experience was truly excellent. I started with a first course with porcini mushrooms, simply delicious, and continued with an osso buco also with porcini mushrooms: the meat was very tender, it melted in your mouth! What struck me most was the attention to the customer!!! Highly recommended, even if you are in a hurry, communicate and the staff will do their best for sure!!!!

20/06/2025: This was one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to in my life! The food was superb and the atmosphere was so warm and authentic. 5th generation owned and operated estate. If you are looking for the “Nonna” experience, this is it!! I felt like I was having dinner with relatives while there. Top dishes for us: Onion antipasto, Ravioli, Tempura zucchini, Tiramisu.

10/06/2025: The best restaurant experience of our Italy vacation. The family owners treated us like long lost friends and served food that is second to none. From appetizers through dessert, we loved every bite. And the ambience is amazing. Gorgeous gardens and even a 200-year old tree inside. Do yourself a favor and go asap.

25/08/2025: I chose three pizzas. All were excellent, especially "La Forchetta." Lovely ambiance (stylish and relaxed atmosphere), but the exterior and location are deceptive. Very child-friendly.

23/08/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at La Forchetta and I must say the pizza was truly excellent. Light dough, fresh ingredients, and well-balanced flavors. A simple but definitely satisfying experience for lovers of good pizza. I'll definitely be back!

10/08/2025: Certainly the best restaurant in the area of Como i tried during my hollidays. The pasta were delicious and the home made dessert with peach and amaretto was wonderful. Very Nice welcome and service. Very Nice terrasse in the garden.

05/08/2025: What a delight!!! We had the most enjoyable evening, and we are looking forward to come back as soon as possible. Elegant and casual at the same time; one can tell food is prepared with experience and care. This is not a fast food joint or a tourist trap, but a food experience. Lovely staff and host made the rest. Thank you ms. Fantin for your personal presence. Ask for a shot of "Favola mia" to close your dinner, and you won't forget it.

19/06/2025: A magical moment with my wife, a cuisine of rare finesse, a little away from the city center. The seafood is sublime, and for true vongole lovers, these are simply the best we've tasted. Gourmet cuisine at a very reasonable price. A hidden gem in Como.

02/06/2025: Cute little spot in a rustic building. The kitchen is on the main level, and the dining area is in the basement. The space is rather intimate--only about 7 tables. The food was absolutely delicious! We are vegetarian and did not partake in a full tasting, only a la carte, but everything we had was incredible: the eggplant puree, the risotto with fava beans, and the homemade tiramisù. Would highly recommend if you're in the area.

05/08/2025: A charming little restaurant on the road to Lomazzo. With ample parking and excellent visibility, it's ideal for business lunches as well as dinner. During the summer, you can also eat outside under the quiet porch, as the parking lot is shaded by hedges, providing comfortable seating away from street noise. The menu offers a good selection of dishes, ranging from burgers to pasta dishes. A daily updated menu is available, designed for workers' lunches. The fixed price is €12.50 for a single course + water, or you can customize it with a first course, second course, and side dish. I particularly recommend the Fassona beef burgers or cheeseburgers with a side of fries. A casual and lively atmosphere, reasonable prices, and attentive service. Recommended.

22/08/2025: Visited in August 2025 and it was a real favorite. A wonderful welcome, the owner's expert advice regarding the choice of wines by the glass with the various dishes, and the cheese selection was a pleasant and original surprise. We had a wonderful evening, and so did our taste buds. Divine risotto and ravioli...and nothing but tiramisu. "I'll be hard pressed to find better." We also recommend the terrace overlooking the lake.

13/08/2025: We visited your restaurant and ordered Veal Milanese and duck leg in citrus sauce. Unfortunately, both dishes were completely bland and, to be honest, unpleasant to eat — we couldn’t finish either of them and left still hungry. Considering the rather high prices, we expected the food to be flavorful and enjoyable, but it was impossible to eat. The grilled vegetables served with each dish were fine, but the potatoes tasted old and were served cold. We left very disappointed and do not plan to return

25/08/2025: We absolutely loved the Hotel Adler in Menaggio! The owners are remarkably hospitable and attentive throughout your stay. The homemade cuisine served at dinner is excellent, as is the sweet and savory buffet breakfast, which is varied and delicious. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are pleasant with comfortable beds, and the view from the pool is simply splendid over Lake Como. A little tip: remember to reserve your parking space in advance as it is small. A place I recommend without hesitation!
