19/10/2025: Wow! This remains my highlight of this entire trip. I'd say it's my personal hidden gem! The road to this restaurant isn't easy. We took a wrong turn, and the owner showed us the right way. We were greeted with a breathtaking view of the lake. The food and service are amazing. Everyone is very friendly and attentive. It won't be our last time here. Highly recommended.

08/11/2025: A historic pizzeria in Como, located in a somewhat remote area. The small outdoor terrace, unfortunately close to the road, is still pleasant in the summer. The pizza, obviously to my personal taste, is truly delicious, fragrant, and easy to digest, unlike the standardized pizzas—good ones—you can find everywhere these days. The menu also includes first and second courses. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They also show major football matches (with appropriately muted volumes).

26/11/2025: I went to the pizzeria yesterday to try it. I ordered a tuna and onion pizza for €7.50. I asked for it to be without mozzarella, which I can't stomach, but perhaps with a little more tomato. I received a €1.50 surcharge on my bill, explained as follows: €0.50 for more tomato and €1 for a larger pizza. I took the liberty of pointing this out—the pizza was a normal size, by the way—and he said, "Okay, let's take €0.50 off..." which, of course, I left. It's a shame because the place is nice and the pizza tastes decent.

22/11/2025: A very well-kept restaurant with an unusual menu. The pizzoccheri are excellent, and the pumpkin, mushroom, and Taleggio focaccia is fabulous.

19/11/2025: Nice food, decent prices. Host was was hospitable, no tables inside but made room for us outside in heated area and made us as comfortable as possible.

07/12/2025: I can't rate the restaurant because it was closed. The place is beautiful from the outside. I passed by on one of my bike rides after a good snowfall. The landscape is surreal and wonderful. At Sighignola there is also a ski lift which, in the months with good snowfall, is also great for having fun with the kids, skiing and private lessons. Highly recommended, but not very big.

21/11/2025: We arrived at noon after visiting the Balcony of Italy, three minutes up the road. Beautiful location, just what you'd expect from a mountain hut: plenty of parking and plenty of seating. A warm welcome and simple, polite, and attentive service. I've seen better photos of the dishes I was served. The fried porcini mushrooms weren't great in my case, but still good and not overly greasy. Pizzoccheri were amazing, truly expertly made. The pappardelle with wild boar ragù was a little less so... the pasta was very well cooked, but the ragù was a little bland and lacking, especially compared to some photos I've seen in other reviews. A quart of red wine on tap was good, along with water, coffee, and a shared tiramisu. The cream was very good, and the ladyfingers were barely soaked in the coffee, much to my wife's delight, but not so much mine 😁 All for €46. The price of the individual dishes is a bit high in my opinion, but they're the only ones there, so I'd say they were fair compared to what they could have done. Next time we'll definitely make sure to visit the Balcony of Italy again around noon 😋

10/10/2025: The two of us went to Caffeteria800 today. Unfortunately, the food was absolutely terrible – the pasta (canneloni with ricotta and spinach) tasted like it came from a frozen food freezer and, unfortunately, looked the same! A portion cost €9.50. The pasta was still cold inside. The sauce was slimy.

03/12/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant, and the risotto alla Milanese was truly remarkable: perfectly cooked rice with a tender and flavorful ossobuco. The squid ink gnocchi with seafood was also excellent. The service was simple and attentive, the place pleasant, and the prices reasonable. An excellent experience.
