We visited Ajo several times and were very enthusiastic every time 👌 No matter whether it was a starter, main course or dessert...everything was extremely tasty and prepared with love. Many locals also visit the Ajo which is always a good sign for us holidaymakers. For dinner there were various bruscettas and a typical Italian starter plate as starters. For the main course, the kids had burgers 🍔 my wife had spaghetti carbonara and I had steak 🥩 on the menu you can find a wide variety of steaks...that alone is a reason to definitely come back again. Everything tasted great and was on point. The dessert is also a dream for everyone. Various local wines rounded off the perfect dinner🍇🥂. The cocktails were also beautifully made and presented. We also visited Ajo for breakfast on Sundays...just as excellent...The pancakes are a dream and will be remembered forever 👌👌👌 The service was always attentive and very friendly. On Friday we will visit Ajo again because we haven't found a similarly delicious restaurant in the surrounding area. The price/performance ratio is top 👍🏻 We will definitely come back on our next vacation 🇮🇹🫶 Thank you dear Ajo team for this culinary delight!!!

Ein Besuch im Ajo gehört für uns zum Pflichtprogramm im Urlaub. Phantastische Küche die sich weit von den anderen Restaurants in der Umgebung unterscheidet. Grandioses Preis/Leistungsverhältnis und sehr nettes Personal und Ambiente. Ob zum Frühstück oder Abendessen…immer einen Besuch wert ! Ich kann einen Besuch nur wärmstens empfehlen…am besten kurz reservieren da auch viele Einheimische dort einkehren. Raffinierte Küche die ihres gleichen sucht. Danke „Ajo“ für deine tolle Gastfreundschaft. Wir kommen garantiert wieder. Die Aussenterrasse ist atemberaubend schön.

From the moment we booked we noticed the competent and cheerful people who then made us have a wonderful evening! The stuffa turned on the pleasant heat with the rainy evening, top summer. It was exactly what we needed after a very dry summer in Sardinia... the top service is just as good as the food, I can highly recommend this restaurant... see you soon definitely if I return to this area

- Quality of the raw material Slightly above average compared to my expectations given the location of the restaurant's target audience. - Service and staff Not particularly fast and precise, true that there were a lot of people but still we can do better. - I count Considering the location on the shores of Lake Como and the not bad quality, I would say ok. - Final conclusions Really long wait, certainly too long for the dishes eaten, in particular in the hamburger there was a completely cold and badly fried onion ring, the batter came off completely, a symptom that it was pre-fried and then inserted into the cold sandwich, if it weren't for that the sandwich would have been ok. Better than the culurgiones who saved the evening from a semi-disaster. For this series of reasons, 3 stars is the maximum that can be given, as 2 are too few but 4 are too many considering the wait, general quality but above all the onion ring which really damaged the sandwich, too bad.

Dared to experiment by visiting a steakhouse in Italy (pizza, pasta, ice cream, seafood) on Lake Como (fish). Positive direct hit! If you need a short break from the above-mentioned classics of Italian cuisine, this is 100% the place for you! Even though the restaurant is located directly on the main street from the lake side, the outside area is reasonably well shielded. Interior Locally, the street is barely noticeable. This can be fully opened to the sea side during the season. The view and atmosphere are unbeatable. The location of the restaurant is very central. Eating is picking flowers for the palate! Whether burgers, steaks, starters or desserts... sensational. I had bruscetta with ham, walnuts and honey, ribeye steak 300 gr medium and tiramisu. Neighboring table 4x burgers (1x vegan on request). I myself - as well as the neighboring table - were consistently impressed by the quality and quantity in every respect. Steak was on point, tender like butter and really felt like it was 300g. The restaurant also impressed with its bar skills (cocktails, etc.). Visited by many locals too... good sign!! Be sure to reserve in advance in season. Service very friendly, courteous and attentive. Selection of menu with small vegan cuisine, but also very flexible. To what extent the preparation is vegan (separation!) is not known. Card can be scanned digitally via QR. Emergency option printout is available, but not up to date... this is where advice and comparison takes place. Price for overall performance is more than fair and reasonable. It's definitely worth it!!!
