Wonderful dining experience. The place is about 20 minutes from Lake Como more precisely in Brunate. The restaurant is wonderful, it seems to all intents and purposes like a small cabin. Having little time available we were only able to try two dishes but the menu certainly deserves further study. We had a stewed cheek with polenta taragna and a polenta uncia with cheese and sausage, personally one of the best polenta I have ever tasted, tasty and super rich in seasoning, the dinner then ended with the chef's broth kindly offered by the restaurant. Super recommended!

A truly characteristic restaurant. I didn't eat well... I also tasted the polenta that my friend had (which is not one of my favorite dishes) and it was very good and delicate. On my next trip to Como (I was on holiday) I will definitely go back

Entrance to reception as in a hotel, the restaurant disappoints expectations as it has been revisited with a view of the courtyard and parking... it offers unique à la carte dishes without the possibility of tasting polenta specialties as indicated in the name of the restaurant. Bag with terrible bread. Internal parking not indicated. Only 2 slices of gluten-free bread: done.
Average servings. Terrine of burning capacity... old bathrooms to be revisited... good wine list...
Time to eat is an hour and a half then you have to leave the table... friendly but slightly nagging staff...

Wonderful experience at La Polenteria. Delicious food (we ordered a large platter, polenta uncia and taragna, tagliatelle with blueberries and venison ragù) and decidedly generous portions, but the real difference for me was made by the people who welcomed and served us.
Never intrusive, but ready to respond to our every need.
I really appreciated the waiter's explanation of the cutting board, well done!
Everyone was satisfied, we will definitely come back and recommend it!

Beyond expectations! Excellent food....I ate the polenta uncia: crazy. We were lucky enough to stay in the most beautiful part of the polenteria... the veranda, beautiful and very welcoming. The service was excellent, just a little long but it makes up for it with the quality of the food. Even the adventure to get there and the visit to the lighthouse a stone's throw from the restaurant are very worth it. Well done

In vacanza dalla Sicilia cercavamo un ristorante tipico per mangiare la polenta o qualcosa di tipico.
