30/09/2025: We went in on a very rainy day, having quickly read the reviews and felt hungry. We had no expectations for it to be this good. We were very, very pleased. We were even more delighted to find that the owner was Turkish. We had gnocchi and pizza. They were delicious, and despite the crowds, the service was quick. After our meal, they let us have our coffees across the street, overlooking the rainbow. Thank you so much for everything.

24/10/2025: We stopped for lunch after a view from the Balcony of Italy. Polenta with delicious venison sauce. Pappardelle with wild boar ragù was good, but lacked sauce. Delicious apple strudel. Good coffee. Nice place. We'll definitely be back.

20/10/2025: We stayed at the Axolute hotel and ate here most evenings. Great atmosphere and food. Good wine selection too. Definitely recommend.

03/11/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance a few weeks ago, and even though the restaurant was packed, we were fortunate to find a table for two. We were thrilled with the service and food, and I'd say it was excellent value. We'd like to thank Gloria, a lovely woman who's incredibly talented (I hope I've remembered her name correctly), who recommended dishes and wines and welcomed us warmly and with warmth.

05/10/2025: Really a nice small Albergo in Cernobbio. Good connection to Como and other places at Como lake. Atmosphere was friendly and nice. Good was excellent and service friendly. In case returning to Cernobbio this would be the Place!

30/09/2025: ^^update^^ After having a phone call and 2 texts from the owner since we have returned to the UK trying to get me to remove my review comments Iv now given it 1star not 2 !!! Called me a liar and apparently I was sitting in doors on the best table ? Pics tell another story Review - Our visit to the restaurant (not hotel) was quite an experience. Thunderstorms and heavy rain was forecast for the evening and all night so were a bit surprised when we were seated right next to the waters edge and not under a canopy as the clouds were already on us . Waited 10 mins for a menu although only a handful of people were there being seated (also on the outer edge) . Was finally asked if we wanted an aperitif and given the menus . The prices for food are very reasonable and range from €18-€30 which we thought was very good for the quality of food . However after asking for the wine list after ordering the food (wasn’t shown one before ) we were presented with an iPad that had about 15 red wines on it that ranged from €50 - €360 !! Wasn’t expecting to spend such an amount on a drink when the food wasn’t in that price bracket and neither did the hotel look it (3 stars) After basically telling him we didnt want any wine his whole attitude to us seemed to change and rest of the evening felt awkward. The actual young waiter who did serve us food etc and clear the tables was fantastic however . Chaos came when the heavens opened up and Everyone (about 6 tables in all) suddenly needed to be moved under shelter . Headless chickens came to mind as the “big chiefs” moved plates , cutlery etc around onto tables they had for some reason only 10 minutes before cleared off . Anyway to sum it up , very good food for price but expect to be ignored and treated differently by some staff if you are not spending €100 on a bottle of wine .

16/07/2025: I had the opportunity to eat in this beautiful restaurant. Since the weather was warm and without clouds we sitted on the breathtaking terrace with lake view. All the staff Giuseppe, Alice and Sibille were really kind and nice in helping us choose the perfect tasting menù. We opted for the vegetarian option named "Senza" composed of four courses. The courses presented were really delicious with different consistencies,aromas and flavors. We really appreciated all of plates with a special nomination to the dessert (I am a sweet tooth) and the homemade bread. I really suggest this location if you are looking to a dinner with your special one or to celebrate an important occasion.

29/06/2025: Restaurant located inside the San Marco Park. Convenient parking in the multi-storey car park. The restaurant terrace is truly suggestive: few tables, beautiful lake view. Friendly and precise service, without smudges. We tried the four-course menu with wine pairing, very successful. The dishes are well presented and the raw material is enhanced. I recommend this restaurant for a totally relaxing evening, away from the daily chaos!

21/10/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A very good experience at Pizzeria Lugano. We tried the carbonara and the tagliatelle with shrimp and zucchini, both tasty and well-prepared. Be careful! While the spiciness depends on each person's palate, the tagliatelle was a little spicier than usual. Excellent service, fast service, and very friendly staff. The ladies who served us were very kind and spoke English, Spanish, and, of course, Italian. The Hugo cocktail was a pleasant surprise. Although we didn't order dessert because we were satisfied with the pasta, the tiramisu looked very good. Pleasant atmosphere and reasonable prices. Recommended.

21/10/2025: Fantastic pizza. But you have to come early (before 7 p.m.) or make a reservation. The locals also love it here. The tiramisu is also extremely delicious. The young waitresses are friendly. The food comes quickly. The Caprese is not recommended.

09/10/2025: The stunning waterfront location might suggest a tourist trap, but quite the opposite is true! From the excellent bruschetta to the outstanding pasta carbonara to the delicious burgers, the evening was as varied as it was culinary. Perfectly rounded off by the friendly service and the absolutely reasonable prices. The only thing worth noting: the truffle burger had a very(!) intense truffle flavor and, for my taste, lacked a bit of balance.

04/10/2025: The carbonara was a carbonara like I've never had before. It was a kind of 'spätzle' with cheese on top and a few pieces of bacon. I can get better ones at Italian restaurants in Germany, and they're prepared the way you'd expect. Classic Italian carbonara looks different.

08/10/2025: We decided to have dinner at the restaurant when staying in Torno and it exceeded our expectations. We don't usually frequent in fancier scale restaurants so we were a bit worried of what to expect when it comes to prices and service etc. However, it was amazing! The service people were very friendly, professional and attentive. We didn't feel forced or looked-down on. The prices were on the higher side - but they were more than reasonable considering the quality of service, food and the views you get! The food was amazing - from the complimentary mini appetizers and bread, to the mains and desserts. Everything tasted incredible - fresh, high quality and full of flavour. Higher recommend!

03/07/2025: Tried both the hotel (2 nights) and the restaurant. Highly recommend both! - the room was very spacious and spotlessly clean - the view from the room cannot be better - it was just perfect - location cannot be better - the ferry stops literally in front of the hotel. And the village itself feels so authentic! - staff was very polite and competent - the restaurant of the hotel is waterfront and was absolute top notch! Features a very good wine list that a wine lover would appreciate!

21/09/2025: The food was good and served relatively quickly given the large number of customers. The atmosphere was a bit noisy with so many people.
