A place with a great view, good food without being exceptional. Decent service.

On the way to the Jungle Raider Park in Albavilla, we stopped here for lunch. It was a truly pleasant discovery, an enchanting place with a striking panoramic view in a family-friendly, uncrowded atmosphere, topped off by friendly service and helpful with the selection of dishes. We ate outside, where there were shaded and cool tables available. A special mention was the gluten-free option for one of the first courses, choosing tagliatelle with wild boar ragù. The attention paid to celiac disease, much appreciated, was also evident in the fact that the wait was longer because they had to boil the tagliatelle in separate water. The wild boar ragù was very good; even the kids loved it. We were satisfied with all the dishes we ordered, both in terms of seasoning, cooking method, and portion size. We also enjoyed a good house wine, a Montepulciano to be precise, but I would recommend lowering the price a bit per 1/2 liter to make it more affordable, in keeping with the dishes on the menu. Keep in mind that the last 600 meters are characterized by a narrow and somewhat bumpy road, so we preferred to park and walk this last stretch... but we can say that it is definitely worth it.

We went there for dinner, a charming location with a breathtaking panoramic view, and we ate excellent ribs. The only problem is the road; the last stretch is a bit bumpy, but overall passable. Recommended.

A historic trattoria overlooking Erba. I dined there last night with friends. The appetizers of cured meats, vegetables, and cheeses were very good. We skipped the first course to dive into the second course, and the baby back with polenta was so tender I devoured it, and not content with that, I also ordered the 500g rib eye. Prices were reasonable. Excellent service from a young man whose name I don't remember, but who was very helpful. Dining on the terrace with that view is a feast for the eyes as well. Just a small observation: I would have preferred a chair with a backrest over the wooden benches, but that's fine in a mountain trattoria. To get there, you have to take a narrow and bumpy road despite the asphalt, so you have to go slowly. I will definitely be back.

This was our first time here and we'll definitely be back. The venison with polenta was delicious, the pizzoccheri were magical, and the shank melted in your mouth. The apple pie was just like grandma's. The place was magnificent, as was the management. The house red wine was excellent.
