06/05/2026: Stopped here to just enjoy a couple of drinks and people watch,it's perfect for that. Enjoyed the snacks they brought to the table and decided to order some mussels to share. They were lovely and tasted fresh. The staff were good,though I think a couple were new and after ordering some more drinks,they seemed to have forgotten. No problem though,we asked someone else (i can only assume he was in charge of the staff)who apologised and brought them straight out. Atmosphere was good,lots of people chatting and just watching the world go by. 3 young men across the road were playing their violins too,which just added to the whole vibe..they were great too..would recommend for a couple of drinks,snacks and people watching...not sure about the larger meals as didn't order,but lovely place

05/05/2026: Dear Funiculare Team, For over 35 years we have been your guests and have stayed at your hotel many times. It always felt like coming home when we visited. Unfortunately, this was probably the last time. We used to be the focus as guests, but now it seems to us that only maximizing profits is the priority. The music blares loudly from the speakers, the cozy atmosphere is gone, the staff are energetically trying to solicit new customers as they walk by instead of paying attention to the guests already there, and in our opinion, the food has become rather subpar. And to top it all off, our waiter turned away without a word after we left a 10% tip. The restaurant's location is beautiful, and it has such a long history. It would be wonderful if the management could restore the restaurant to its former glory.

28/04/2026: We discovered this pizzeria by chance near our Airbnb. We ate there twice in four days because the pizzas were so delicious. The service was outstanding, and the wonderful waitress gave us excellent recommendations. I highly recommend you check out this pizzeria.

14/05/2026: For a few years now, this restaurant has become a true go-to for business lunches when I visit clients in the Como area. The atmosphere is beautiful, elegant, and meticulously crafted, perfect for both professional meetings and a quality break. The cuisine is excellent: top-quality ingredients and dishes always well-executed. I also really appreciate the constant presence of 3-4 off-menu options, always interesting and stimulating. Despite this, as a Carbonara lover, it's become a tradition for me: every time I come here, I can't resist it, and I always choose it... and it never disappoints.

24/05/2026: Very relaxing atmosphere, background music, fast service. We waited 15 minutes for a first and second course. The gentleman who accompanied us to the table and the young lady who served us were very kind. We knew the prices before sitting down. Only the cooked vegetables were €12, a very small dish. We'll be back anyway.

13/04/2026: Can’t say enough great things about this restaurant. They go out of their way to make it a perfect experience, including a helpful shuttle service from Bellagio. The views are spectacular, food is fantastic, and just an all-around special atmosphere. Was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Lake Como.

10/04/2026: If you're not an expert driver, BEWARE! To get to the restaurant, there's only a super-narrow two-way street. Lucky as we are, we ran into an SUV on the way out, and we both broke out in a cold sweat... The view is beautiful, but the food was too salty for us... Unlike the waiters at the entrance, the brunette who served us was very kind and helpful, so much so that she even asked if we wanted to change tables with a better view.

10/05/2026: We were in Como with a group of friends, and they recommended this fantastic bakery, where we purchased a typical local dessert: ! What can I say? Fresh ingredients, a very soft and fluffy cake. We'll be back!

08/05/2026: I visited this restaurant on a Saturday for a family lunch; there were eight of us. The restaurant—located in a historic area of ​​Erba, a bit run-down but with its own charm—generally offers a small menu with 2-3 options for each course, but, typically on Saturday lunchtime, it also offers 'cicchetti,' small appetizers to enjoy, possibly accompanied by one (or more) good bottles of wine. Since there were so many of us, we each ordered 4-5 small plates and a few platters of cured meats and cheeses to start. Despite the complexity, the manager, supported by only one other member of staff in the dining room, didn't miss a beat, and we all thoroughly enjoyed every single bite: everything was truly well-cooked and prepared, with plenty of character and clean, well-assorted, and unconventional flavors. Special mention goes to the cured meats and cheeses (from small local producers) of the highest quality. Even the wine selection, with which the host willingly collaborates, was a pleasant experience, thanks to the selection (like a "serious" wine shop) of small, high-quality labels. The atmosphere is simple, like a true osteria, but pleasant. The service is prompt and relaxed, as it should be in this type of establishment. The bill is fair and absolutely in line with the quality offered. I would return and recommend it.

The atmosphere is cozy yet sophisticated, making it perfect for both a casual date night or a celebration with friends. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable about the wine list, and gave excellent recommendations. It is rare to find a spot that nails both the vibe and the hospitality so consistently. A true gem in the neighborhood that I would recommend to anyone looking for a great night out.

13/04/2026: Every time I go to Como, we invariably eat at this trattoria. I only gave 3 stars to the atmosphere because it's a bit too noisy for my taste, given the small dining room. But outside, on nice sunny days, there's a wonderful view.

11/06/2026: Rodrigo Ristorante Pizzeria — a place worth coming back to, and we did, twice! From the carbonara to the spaghetti with clams, lasagna, and calamari, every single dish was absolute perfection. The pasta is rich and comforting, the seafood fresh and delicate. The staff made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in, and the views are simply stunning. A complete experience.
