13/11/2025: A dreamy spot for an aperitif at sunset, right on the lake. You can easily moor your boat and enjoy the sun and sunset. In the evening, underwater lighting at the jetty creates a special ambiance. You can also enjoy dishes like hamburgers with squid or fritto misto – very tasty. Giuseppe, Fortunato, Ruslan, and Raffaele are very polite and will take excellent care of you. The owner, Andrea, sometimes even stops by your table to greet the guests. A place I often go to in the summer 😉👍🏼🔝

05/10/2025: Friendly and quick, the pizza was very light and the dough was excellent, with plenty of toppings without being heavy. The pizza breadsticks with toppings were a welcome addition. Highly recommended.

After trying three different restaurants in town and feeling completely unimpressed, this place finally exceeded all expectations. The food was absolutely amazing — authentic, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. It was recommended by a local, and I can see why.
The location is perfect, easy to find, and the atmosphere adds to the experience — very clean, with new decor and a spacious, comfortable interior. Every detail shows thought and quality. Highly recommend CARTAPAGLIA if you’re looking for a truly authentic meal in Desenzano.

08/11/2025: Fantastic place!! The food is excellent, both the pizza and the pasta dishes. Perhaps the only downside is that the fried food is sparse and frozen, and not top-quality. Otherwise, the prices and the generous portions (which is why I go there often) are great. I hope they stay that way!

25/11/2025: I’ve been to Brescia many times but this was first visit to this restaurant. Absolutely outstanding. Antipasti, pasta and second course just amazing. Now my favourite restaurant. Definitely return next time in Brescia.
10/11/2025: I must say that every time I go to Vecchio Botticino, I leave truly satisfied!
The owners are obsessive about the quality of their products. From the bread to the sliced beef, to the wines, the pastas, the vegetables... it's all excellent quality!!! And above all, the quality is constant!! (I've never had a dish that was "subpar" or wrong in all my years.) There's very little sauce or spices because they're not necessary... The quality of the food conveys the true flavor of the ingredients to the palate. Add to this the impeccable and courteous service from the entire staff... The prices are rightly proportionate to the quality of the food, but still fair! I give it a 5-star rating and highly recommend it...

A place to return to, to find the perfect balance between location and quality food.
Next time I'll try the veranda, perhaps in milder temperatures.

15/11/2025: Nice place, average food, good wine for €50, the best part of the dinner. But the worst part was the service. I went out first to be safe, but they made me eat on my bike. They sent the food order without choosing the wine, and my first course arrived without the wine on the table. They forgot one of the second courses (which was brought almost immediately), but I went to pay for it because they usually ask if everything was okay, and I would have said the service was so-so. I wasn't asked for anything. I'm shocked.
02/11/2025: Discovered this restaurant by chance, it exceeded our expectations.
The cold cuts with fried gnocco were delicious, and the meat-based main courses were amazing.

09/11/2025: I ate well, the dishes were well-prepared, although the prices seemed rather high.
Unfortunately, one incident completely ruined the evening: I accidentally broke a glass. I apologized and immediately offered to pay for it, but the owner reacted rudely and unprofessionally.
In the end, I paid part of the glass, but the way I was treated was truly unpleasant. It's a shame, because the kitchen deserves much better than such rude management.

01/12/2025: My family and I often go to Ottavo Nano. We love the dough and the excellent quality ingredients. The passion and professionalism in creating truly excellent pizzas and making customers feel at home are evident. The location is simple, but that's also what makes it feel like a family place, and there's an outdoor area for enjoying dinner on summer evenings. My favorite is the Katia pizza, but I plan to try them all little by little!
01/12/2025: Lured by the reviews, we discovered an excellent pizzeria in a very quiet neighborhood of Brescia. The pizza is large and made with top-quality ingredients, and the selection of craft beers, including one brewed specifically for this pizzeria, complements a vast menu of pizzas. Service is fast, and the place is spacious. The rules of the place, like those of the menu, are clearly written throughout, ensuring no distractions are overlooked. Approved!
