Excellent ingredients.
I had both the skewers and the spider steak, and the coffee affogato for dessert.
Everything was excellent!

25/04/2026: I was there late at night, so I can't comment on the exterior. Inside, the atmosphere is reminiscent of co-op-style restaurants of yesteryear. The food was very good, the service was quick, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I recommend it if you're not looking for a fancy evening.

06/06/2026: Very atmospheric, simple, little local restaurant. We had the daily menu with was delicious and freshly made from premium ingredients. The waiters didn't really speak English but we manged to communicate just fine, they were patient and kind. The bathroom was clean. Finding parking nearby is a bit challenging but not impossible.
06/01/2026: A must-visit for anyone passing through Gardone VT. Friendly service, great-quality, locally sourced food, and reasonable prices. A real find, we'll be back soon. Well done.

11/07/2026: We were unable to bring pets (in our case, a sleeping 2.5-month-old puppy) into the restaurant. When we asked to eat outside, we were rudely turned away. The no-pets policy is at the discretion of the owners and may or may not be acceptable, but this policy does not authorize anyone to mistreat potential customers. The staff (probably one of the owners) was extremely rude.
Not recommended for anyone with pets or simply wanting to be treated with a modicum of respect.

07/06/2026: I only had lunch there for work but the casoncelli were delicious.
05/04/2026: A classic trattoria with a simple atmosphere that perhaps still enjoys the good reputation of its historic management. The outside area is neglected and dilapidated. The food is low-quality, greasy, and portions are meager. Service is sketchy, listless, and rushed (in terms of manner, not timing).
The final price is outrageous.
What a shame.
