08/02/2026: I think this is the best pizza (gluten free) I ever had and not only that they take care that you still can get GF antipasti and everything else that is not contaminated for uou. The lovely owner is amazing, and the beauty of this place is in the atmosphere too. 100% recommend it to anyone in town.

08/02/2026: We were there after the evening theater, so not very early. It was 10:00 PM. We hadn't booked because I wasn't sure if it was a good time to make a reservation. In fact, the online time isn't an option, but since it's close to the theater, they'll make a reservation if you call. They were very kind, and managed to find us a table. Excellent ingredients, good dishes, but you'd expect better given the prices. The service was truly very friendly. We'll be back to try the pizzas.

09/03/2026: Lunch at this trattoria was the most enjoyable experience of the day. The place is well-kept, with a vaguely old-world feel, and the staff is friendly and professional. Stopping for lunch on a weekday, we also found it rather empty and quiet. We ordered malfatti and casoncelli, both delicious, and for dessert a crispy basket and a creamy dessert. Everything was delicious!

14/03/2026: A truly disappointing experience. We arrived with our baby in a stroller and, instead of being greeted normally like any other customer, we were placed at a table outside the main dining room, practically in a corner between the entrance door, the fish refrigerator, and the coat check. An uncomfortable, cold, and undignified place to eat, which made us feel distinctly left out just because we had a baby in a stroller. In 2026, it's unacceptable for a family to be treated this way. A restaurant should welcome all customers with respect, not relegate them to a corner as if they were a problem. An experience that unfortunately doesn't make us want to return. Perhaps it would be helpful to remember that a child isn't a nuisance, but simply another customer. PS: I chose to give two stars only because I want this review to be read and seen by as many people as possible. If it were based on the experience I had, the score would have been zero.

03/03/2026: I'm sharing this review for those of us who, like us, chose to organize a business dinner as a social gathering outside of work, but found ourselves having to manage different dietary requirements. We booked several weeks in advance, immediately notifying them that there would be a vegan and a vegetarian at the table. We were assured there would be no problems. Unfortunately, once we arrived at the restaurant, the person in charge of welcoming us seemed clearly struggling to offer suitable alternatives. The result was that one person dined on a simple plate of pasta with tomato sauce and a pumpkin cream soup. Considering that, with a bottle of budget-friendly wine, we spent around €70 each, we would have expected more attention and care, especially after having communicated our needs in advance. The staff was friendly, and we understand that vegan cuisine isn't the restaurant's focus. However, there was a certain superficiality in the handling of our request, both in terms of the variety of options and in relation to the overall cost of the evening.

01/03/2026: A pleasant, family-friendly atmosphere, reminiscent of an old-fashioned tavern; the staff are friendly and happy to share their knowledge of the area's excellent products.

25/01/2026: The place is a bit cramped, and this somewhat affects the space, especially since the tables are, paradoxically, large and comfortable. There are few seats, as a result. The kitchen is quite fast and tries to avoid the temptation to offer standard dishes. Therefore, the menu includes risotto but not casoncelli, and lamb but not tagliata. A wine list rather than a verbal list would be helpful, and an effort could be made to address the somewhat awkward location of the bathroom. Otherwise, a pleasant and peaceful lunch.

10/03/2026: Clean, welcoming, and well-appointed. Typical Brescian and other dishes are served. The cuisine is varied, like that of an osteria. The portions are adequate, but the quality is good. The only complaint, perhaps, is the dessert; I didn't find it up to par with what I'd previously tasted. The service was average, with friendly and attentive staff.

19/02/2026: Brescia's historic osteria. Typical Brescian cuisine, hearty and flavorful. The area is perfect for dining and then exploring Brescia's historic center. Friendly, welcoming, and family-style service. Classic Brescian dishes served with warmth. Excellent value, in line with, and for some dishes, even cheaper than, other restaurants in the area!

10/03/2026: Had lunch with a 25 euro menu....Really good homemade casoncelli...top quality...recommended...the only flaw is the very small portions...the beef stew is really good...just a slice...the toilets outside leave something to be desired...worth trying anyway.
