A simple, unpretentious, old-fashioned osteria where you feel right at home. If you go for dinner, they serve sensational appetizers, plentiful and truly excellent, along with heart-warming traditional dishes. The menu varies seasonally and has limited choices, confirming that everything is homemade. The waitresses are very kind and lively. A top osteria if you want to relive the dishes of Brescia's grandmothers! More than fair prices.

Very nice place... good beer. If you're passing by on the road, you can stop for a drink in the cool shade.

A positive review was the least I could leave after a wonderful evening spent at this osteria. The owner pampered us all evening, giving us a detailed explanation of each appetizer...all strictly local. We started with pancetta and salami accompanied by cheese meatballs, zucchini flowers, vitello tonnato, bresaola stuffed with cheese, frittatina, slice of stuffed bresaola, bruschetta, giardiniera, marinated zucchini with shaved parmesan, fennel and orange salad, chicken salad with walnuts and celery, green beans wrapped in pancetta, spinach with pesto sauce and polenta. At this point, Anna and I were definitely full...but it wasn't over! For our second course, we opted for tagliata with baked potatoes. The portion was definitely generous, (very generous!!), tender and flavorful. The side potatoes, which we discovered came directly from Storo, were fabulous! I'll end with a note...Anna and I had a free dinner tonight. In fact, for the first time in my life, I won fourth prize in a local lottery, bought by chance during breakfast at a café in Val Sabbia. I'd like to thank the owner again for her hospitality, her kindness, but above all for taking us back in time with authentic flavors. Thanks especially to the chef, who prepared these delicacies (she's probably one of the owners). During the break between appetizers and main course, we chatted about football. A place that exudes mountain flavor, both in the ambiance and the food. Ada is a lively and attentive host. She recommended we start with a mixed antipasto, and the resulting menu included a wide variety of appetizers, all delicious. So much so that by the end of the appetizer, we were full and opted for cheesecake, which was also excellent. We accompanied it with draft beer.

Excellent osteria. The dishes are superb. The tagliatelle with salmi is super good. The risotto with wild herbs is excellent. The stuffed roast with polenta is truly delicious. The desserts are also delicious. In short, traditional dishes. The lady (I presume the owner) is very friendly. A restaurant worth a second visit. Thank you for your hospitality.

The restaurant is small, with limited seating, warm and welcoming, traditional but not overly so. Reservations are required. The menu varies based on the freshest preparations of the moment. Only a few dishes are served per course. Everything is very fresh and very good. The appetizer is incredible. The portions are generous and the prices are even low considering the absurd increase in eating out. The service is excellent, passionate and welcoming, a rare gift these days.
