11/05/2026: Last September, we ate at the restaurant and were so impressed that we booked a week at the Hotel Gardenia al Lago this year. What more can I say? It's a wonderful, romantic, and family-run traditional hotel in a stunning location. We stayed from May 3rd to 10th, and it was still very peaceful in Gargnano. Parking was right in front of the hotel – perfect. The room had the special charm of a renovated traditional house. Air conditioning and a flat-screen TV were, of course, provided. Breakfast was served right by the lake, with everything you could wish for. The service was very friendly – ​​our every wish was granted. Dinner in the restaurant was truly excellent and very generous. We had the beautiful sun terrace with its panoramic view of Lake Garda almost entirely to ourselves the entire week. Many thanks to the always cheerful and very friendly Francesca for her excellent service, to the ever-present owners, and of course to the wonderful senior owner. We've already booked again for September and can highly recommend this hotel.
