17/08/2024: Avevamo grandi aspettative..purtroppo è stato deludente..abbiamo preso un menu da 4 portate..mi spiace dire che l'unica portata convincente sono state le tagliatelle alle zucchine. Servizio non inestente ma quasi. Unica nota positiva la panificazione. Non tornerei.

Search for different flavors while maintaining the ideal of using the ingredients that the territory offers. The possibility of having a completely vegetarian tasting menu was much appreciated, which is very rare in this area. Well done, highly recommended!

15/08/2024: Very famous restaurant for the spit in our area...I still have to compliment you because I ate everything really well, in addition to the spit which was phenomenal... Today there was the mid-August menu and even though the restaurant was fully booked and being a celebration, everything they brought us was up to par with the lunch!!! Everything exceptional 👌

13/08/2024: Every time I return to the Caricatore I eat better and better. And I've known them for over fifty years. Super recommended at any time of the year. We always eat very well. A refined cuisine but attentive to local tradition. Fair prices, within every budget's reach.

14/07/2024: I can highly recommend Hotel Dogana in Sirmione! From the first moment we felt incredibly comfortable and welcome here. The staff is not only professional, but also warm and helpful. I would like to give special praise for the exceptional service we received during our stay. I was unlucky enough to lose my phone, but the hotel team immediately and diligently made sure I got it back. Not only did they take all the necessary steps with me, but they also followed up personally and ensured that everything went smoothly. Thanks to their help, I was able to get my phone back quickly and undamaged. The rooms are clean, comfortable and lovingly furnished. The breakfast also left nothing to be desired and offered a large selection of delicious dishes. The hotel's location is ideal for exploring Sirmione and the surrounding area. Overall, an unforgettable stay – we will definitely be back! Many thanks to the entire team at Hotel Dogana for the wonderful time and great support!

23/08/2024: Il luogo é fantastico,una trattoria assolutamente tradizionale. Abbiamo cenato nel giardino che con la sera é un paradiso. Antipasto della casa (Affettati misti freschissimi,giardiniera,verdure pastellate) davvero abbondante e fresco,i ravioli ripieni di ricotta con limone e mazzancolle sono qualcosa di unico,trittico di pesce di lago con polenta molto buono,crostata fatta in casa molto buona. Ottima la possibilità di scelta di vini prodotti da cantine alternative della zona che non sono da meno delle più blasonate. Davvero davvero ottimo. Bisogna prenotare con largo anticipo,chiaramente é sempre pieno.

17/08/2024: Nel caldo del mese di agosto una cena all'aperto, poco distante dal lago, è quello che ci vuole. Se poi si somma la cortesia, la qualità del cibo e il prezzo corretto è ancora meglio.

02/08/2024: A youthful place with great attention to detail and modern, helpful and welcoming staff offering an excellent menu. We tried lunch and I must say that it was all very good. With the complete menu at €16 you can have a peaceful lunch and leave satisfied. Highly recommended, really good!

04/08/2024: Sono stato in questo conosciuto Ristorante con una compagnia di dirigenti di una società sportiva e abbiamo cenato abbondantemente e il cibo era anche molto curato! Tutto era davvero buonissimo! Qualità prezzo senza eguali! Ho apprezzato da ex cameriere anche il servizio che è stato davvero formale e molto cortese! Ci tornerò sicuramente!

20/08/2024: We may have had a bad time, but the service was VERY SLOW. We had to give up the seconds we initially ordered. The first courses were good, but two hours or more for the starter, first courses and second courses (with chips on the side which took half an hour) seemed excessive to me and we were not the only ones. 4 stars on trust!
