11/04/2026: Excellent food and very fair prices. I stopped by with my girlfriend in April; we had an appetizer and two main courses (fish and meat). Everything was delicious. The owner is a very smart and cheerful guy. Finally, a proper osteria, truly a rare gem!

An absolutely strategic stop for refueling, especially if you're traveling by bike: the ideal place for a regenerating break or to stock up on supplies before the climb.

24/03/2026: I came in for the first time on Sunday with a friend. Nice atmosphere, very good pizza. Everything was ruined when it came to paying. We got to the register and asked if we could kindly split the bill in two, and they said, "OK." Too bad they issued a cash-only receipt, and I was ready to pay by debit card. Up until that point, the problem wasn't serious, except that the cashier cut out the receipt and launched into an unexpected tirade: "Well, I've already issued a cash receipt, what should I do, cancel the receipt?" Complete with waving the receipt 😒. Despite my arrogance, my response was: no, there's no need to cancel, but you could just ask how I would pay. Obviously, he insisted on his reasoning without giving any end to this farce. As I replied on Sunday, the pizza was very good, my advice for the subject is to stay behind the scenes.

05/04/2026: We visited for the first time in December to celebrate our anniversary and were blown away by the atmosphere and the delicious food. We decided to return for Easter and were once again enchanted. The room was gorgeous, the welcome fantastic: we rented bikes and enjoyed dinner at the restaurant upon our return. The breakfast was amazing: we opted for a take-away tray and enjoyed it on the terrace, a real treat. We took advantage of Easter to also enjoy lunch, which far exceeded our expectations. The Locanda is a true gem: the quiet location, the clean rooms with a stunning view, and the excellent food make it a true corner of paradise, perfect for enjoying a few moments of relaxation given the different rhythms of the island. Lastly, the staff: everyone was extremely kind and helpful. Our special thanks go to Giovanni and Arianna, who made us feel at home for the second time. See you next time ❤️

13/04/2026: An absolute gem. We hadn't made a reservation, but it was Monday. I would suggest you do in order to guarantee a place as it was surprisingly busy. A warm welcome from the delightful waitresses ensured that we felt right at home. Superb regional speciality restaurant that uses only the freshest and top quality ingredients. We enjoyed a glass of the locally produced Brut sparkly. Everything was served with an explanation of the dish. I asked for an exchange of an item with my main course (I had had polenta two days in a row elsewhere...), this was done/offered without hesitation. To finish, I recommend the Tiramisu. Heaven on the tongue, firm and delightfully light. The coffees are also a perfect way to end the meal (I had a Correto with brandy, naughty..). 95€ for a three course meal for two, two Franciacorta wines, coffee and 2 litres of branded sparkling/still water, all served with a warmth and love of the guests food experience. It doesn't get any better! Tips are taken in cash, so make sure that you bring some after paying for the meal with the card. Well done!

In addition to a wide selection of fine wines, the raw seafood is absolutely worth trying, as it's excellent. We'll definitely be back!

16/10/2025: A warm and welcoming historic osteria in Rezzato. The food is always excellent, with minimal frills and plenty of substance. The meat is especially noteworthy: fillet, tagliata, and Florentine steak are top-notch! It's best to book, as the place is almost always sold out.

01/10/2025: Beautifully decorated. Very understated and cozy. Perfect for a romantic dinner. Very friendly staff. The aperitif was a surprise, with fresh olives and chips. The food is excellent. I ordered horse. The meat was cooked to perfection. The fried potatoes were cooked with the skin on, perfect. A real experience. The value for money is excellent. I will definitely stop by this exceptional place again.

18/03/2026: We had a wonderful time at this hotel with a romantic view, thanks to Elisabetta, Giacomo, and Antonia, who made us feel at home. Their story is inspiring, as is supporting a responsible and eco-friendly hospitality business: we loved it. We highly recommend it for a weekend away from the city filled with peace, simplicity, love, and happy cows.

16/03/2026: We just spent a wonderful family weekend at Agriturismo Il Bagnolo. It's a wonderful place surrounded by greenery, offering a variety of walks and hikes. Just a few kilometers above Salò, the restaurant offers a magnificent view of the lake. The room was very spacious and clean, with a lovely balcony overlooking the valley for relaxing in the sun. The beds were very comfortable. There's also a lovely pool, which we didn't try due to the season. The cuisine is authentic, with all the ingredients sourced from the farm, particularly the meat, cheeses, cured meats, and vegetables. A new vegetable garden will be planted soon. The appetizers are delicious: beef in oil, tartare, carpaccio, and rump steak in salt. Highly recommended for a relaxing break!

03/02/2026: One of my favorite restaurants. The location is picturesque, and the Forra road is spectacular for both tourists and locals. The spit-roasted meat is the signature dish, served with potatoes and polenta, and is the best in the area. Must try. EDIT: The spit-roasted meat must be reserved and is only served on Sundays!

19/11/2025: The restaurant was very crowded, but the staff were very polite and remained calm and cheerful throughout, true to Italian tradition. Unfortunately, the pizza wasn't quite to my taste, nor was my wife's pasta. However, others might enjoy it, especially since many Italians also eat there.
