28/11/2025: A lovely day out in the area allowed us to try this place by chance. A great find, the food was good and plentiful, and the price was fair. Service was prompt and courteous. They were great, especially since I saw a lot of young people at work.

07/10/2025: Returned for family lunch I didn't remember how good the food was, superbly cooked, service provided by very young, very well-prepared girls, beautiful atmosphere especially in the good season, truly excellent price, highly recommended👏👏👏💪💪💪👍👍 macaroni with mussels, something sublime, super large portion👏👏👏 Sunday 5 October lunch with the whole family, delicious food, wonderful service, you can breathe serenity ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

22/09/2025: A wonderful place to gaze at the lake and the mountains and enjoy delicious, freshly prepared, regional food. 😊 We also appreciated the very clear instructions when ordering, so every guest knows right away that there will be a pleasant, short wait – nicely bridged with various breadsticks. The couple who run the Holland restaurant are very nice, and the food is top-notch! Highly recommended.

27/08/2025: We had two excellent meals at Peter and Danielle's. Peter is a fantastic host, and his wife Danielle conjures up the most delicious dishes! While dining, you're treated to a beautiful view of Lake Idro. They don't have pizza, but we didn't miss it for a moment! It's a missed opportunity if you don't eat at Holland's 😉

26/10/2025: I have so much to say I don't know where to begin. I just finished my romantic getaway to Sensole, and I couldn't have made a better choice, starting with the truly off-the-beaten-path season, which still offers warm, sunny days. I already knew Monte Isola, but not this place, and I must say I found true peace here. I booked a room with half board, and as a foodie, I loved everything about it: from the tasting menu at dinner to the gourmet breakfast the following morning. Not content with that, we also tried lunch at the Bistrot. If you hadn't already figured it out, I highly recommend it!

20/09/2025: Dinner for two. Intimate restaurant. Friendly and helpful owner, family-run for two generations. Interesting historical anecdotes about the management. Snails specialty or traditional menu. Although I've never eaten snails, the snail appetizers offered were exceptional! Dessert: sbrisolona & vaporized grappa, homemade Catalana. Coffee and liqueur (dry grappa, of course). Compliments, highly recommended...

09/12/2025: Excellent location, fantastic lake view, clean, tidy, the food in their restaurant was divine, top marks for the dessert. The waitress, whose name I didn't ask, was friendly and welcoming. But the owner, Nicola, was no exception.

16/11/2025: The hotel is a bit dated, but it's clean and tidy and in a fantastic location. The staff has a unique family atmosphere. The restaurant was a surprise: cuisine using local products, prepared in an original way by a young and knowledgeable team... truly delicious. Must try.

02/08/2025: What can I say? There's nothing better than spending an intimate evening or with friends enjoying excellent risottos. All are freshly prepared, and even if you have to wait a few minutes, the wait is easily spent enjoying a nice glass of Darietto. A refined atmosphere and impeccable service complete the picture. Stone-cooked meat 🥩🔥 It arrives sizzling, cooked right at the table, and every slice is pure satisfaction: juicy, tender, and irresistible. 20/11/2025: I went on a Friday night and was given a table in the basement. Not the best, less noisy than I feared, but a bit chilly. Poor appetizers: soupy beans, hard cheese bread. Poor meat: tough and undercooked, overcooked, or bleeding. Grilled pineapple wasn't included in the all-you-can-eat menu, nor was dessert. In fact, we paid €40 each. Definitely too much for the quality of what I ate.

15/11/2025: Very cozy restaurant, kind and helpful staff. We had fish and lamb dishes. The cooking of the dishes was adequate, but I wouldn't have dared to serve the side dishes at home. Frozen vegetables without any seasoning. Served with polenta, both main courses, were not fresh. Lamb is available in stores, seasoned with ready-made sauce. Sorry

11/09/2025: It's a beautiful terrace. The staff is very friendly. The panini and bruschetta are incredible, with quality cold cuts. Highly recommended for a quiet bite to eat.

04/11/2025: I'd read excellent reviews, but the food was average. Very small portions. The food arrives cold from a serving hatch. The boiled vegetable dish I chose as a side dish was excellent...a bit nursing home-style in terms of the plating, but well done. I'm talking about greens, boiled potato, and a few slices of zucchini. The prices are high. The bill is incorrect...I think it was due to a carelessness. I won't be back, too bad.
