24/09/2025: One of the best crotti in Chiavenna...absolutely worth trying...delicious food and above all kindness!!

15/09/2025: Unfortunately, the experience was not positive: service was rushed, the staff were young and inexperienced and constantly reprimanded by the manager in front of customers, there was no empathy with customers, and the service was treated like an assembly line. The food quality was adequate.

10/10/2025: Milanese risotto with ossobuco and elephant ear is divine. The ear is truly almost as big as a pizza, with a delicious crispy coating.

07/10/2025: Came highly recommended. Food was good and I enjoyed seeing Nebbiolo, Barbaresco, and Barolo on the menu. I tried the meatballs and ossobucco.

21/09/2025: Excellent restaurant on the Resinelli plateau! Homemade pizzoccheri, exceptional polenta with mushrooms! We didn't order dessert, but both the blueberry tart and the strudel looked excellent! Very friendly service, perhaps a little too fast. We ordered and the pizzoccheri arrived after two minutes, but okay, the prices are fair! We'll be back!!!

06/09/2025: If you're looking for top-quality gelato, you've come to the right place. This isn't just any gelato; it's an explosion of flavor. The freshness is the first thing you notice, with an incredible creaminess and vibrant colors that hint at the deliciousness of each bite. You can feel the passion in every detail, from the way the owner, a cheerful and kind person, explains the various flavors to the care with which he prepares them. His cheerfulness is contagious and makes the experience even more special. Each flavor is a unique creation, and the fact that they vary with the season is the icing on the cake. The gelato is produced in limited quantities, and once it's sold out, the shop closes. This philosophy makes the visit a true experience: you have to accept the risk of finding it closed and not complain about the long waits, because good, high-quality products are limited and sought after. I didn't take photos, both because they didn't do justice to its beauty and deliciousness, and because it's an experience to be fully enjoyed. Probably the best ice cream I've ever eaten!

27/08/2025: I had dinner here on a Saturday evening. I found the atmosphere beautiful, especially the outdoor seating. The menu is small (which I always appreciate) and well-prepared. I found the quality of the ingredients to be very good. Dishes were beautifully presented and flavorful. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money! The cocktails were also very good...to start! A must-try place near Lake Varese!

04/10/2025: We felt very comfortable at the hotel. The welcome was very warm, and the service was always courteous and very competent. The rooms are spacious and very well furnished. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The spa area is beautiful, equipped with a sauna, a steam bath, and a small pool. Since this area can be booked for exclusive use, it's well-suited for 2-4 people. We found the music in the sauna a bit too loud (although we didn't mention this to the staff, otherwise they would have certainly addressed it immediately). The hotel's location is beautiful; from the upper rooms, you have a wonderful view of the lake and Lugano, which lies diagonally across the street. However, there isn't much going on in the town itself; many restaurants were closed, and some buildings were deserted, or at least appeared so. There's a huge casino right next to the hotel, which we didn't visit. ``` A bus to Lugano runs approximately every hour; the stop is right in front of the hotel. You can also take a boat to Lugano; the ferry dock is about 7 minutes from the hotel. Thank you again for the wonderful stay.

30/09/2025: Our group stayed here for a couple of nights and it was really hard to leave — we loved the place! While the hotel itself looks a bit on the smaller side, the rooms were very spacious, beautifully designed, and full of natural light, giving a very inviting feel. The staff were welcoming, always smiling, and we truly appreciated their hospitality and kindness. We also enjoyed the thoughtful touches like complimentary drinks at a time of our choice and a discount for dinner at the hotel restaurant — which turned out to be absolutely delicious.

02/10/2025: We loved this restaurant so much that we went twice during our short stay in Milan. Nicolo the manager is exceptional and provided great service both nights! We didn’t have a reservation but they were accommodating to us. This truly feels like a locals spot. We will be back next time we are in Milan!

23/06/2025: I went to Bistro’ Lurati with my friends, and we had such a fantastic evening! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh pasta, perfectly cooked steak, and the desserts were amazing! The quality of the ingredients really stood out. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The owners were incredibly kind and made us feel right at home. Great wine selection too. Definitely a highlight of our trip, we’d all go back in a heartbeat! Highly recommend!

20/06/2025: We often visit Porlezza and almost always stop by Lurati if we want to get good meat. The staff is always very professional in their approach to your wishes to improve your stay at the Bistro.

23/10/2025: CARTAPAGLIA – Desenzano After trying three different restaurants in town and feeling completely unimpressed, this place finally exceeded all expectations. The food was absolutely amazing — authentic, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. It was recommended by a local, and I can see why. The location is perfect, easy to find, and the atmosphere adds to the experience — very clean, with new decor and a spacious, comfortable interior. Every detail shows thought and quality. Highly recommend CARTAPAGLIA if you’re looking for a truly authentic meal in Desenzano.

12/10/2025: Excellent location with a panoramic view of the lake, elegant venue, good service, very good appetizer with assorted seafood crostini, good first course with mussels but particularly salty, and pasta, in my opinion, undercooked, cannelloni with lamb ragù excellent, prices a bit high, probably for selection, as evidenced by the fact that it was a beautiful Sunday and there were only a few guests in the dining room. A tip: more reasonable prices. Overall a positive experience.

05/10/2025: Wonderful and attentive staff. They are also able to cater for gluten free, we had the braised beef and the sirloin (gluten free) both were lovely! They also had gluten free bread and can do pasta dishes gluten free.

The complaints in the negative comments should be more objective and take all factors into account! Highly recommended! The pizzoccheri are dreamy! PS: The only lodge open on September 28th in Val Zebrù!

26/09/2025: We passed by on July 23rd: we had booked a refuge, but along the trail a family recommended we stop here for the quality of the food. I can 100% confirm that the food is excellent: the tiramisu, in particular, is among the best I've ever tasted, if not the best. Highly recommended! A place to return to not only for the food, but also for the scenery and the warm welcome from the owners.

27/10/2025: Everything was perfect, from the varied and original menu to the attentive and courteous dining room and kitchen staff. They are available and professional to accommodate guests with food intolerances. They also have an extensive wine cellar. The atmosphere is relaxing and quiet, making it ideal for special occasions.

05/08/2025: Excellent food, super attentive to food intolerances. There was even a lactose-free dessert! Not all the photos are of lactose-free dishes. I fell in love with the shrimp and avocado salad.

30/07/2025: I had lunch alone at this restaurant, and overall, the experience was good: the ambiance was elegant and the dishes were well-presented. However, there was one incident that left me a little disappointed. After my first course, I asked for olive oil, but the waiter (who I believe was also the owner) refused to bring it, saying that "the dish is fine as it is." I found this response rude and restrictive, given that everyone should be free to enjoy a dish as they prefer. For my second course, however, I made the same request to a waitress, who kindly brought me the oil without any problems. So: 2 stars for the owner's attitude, but 3 stars overall because the food is good and the staff (aside from that incident) was friendly. I could even recommend it, but with this small reservation.

10/09/2025: Luca and I got married on September 2, 2025...it's true that work is work, but DAVIDE, MARTINO, MATTEO, AND THE WHOLE STAFF gave up their day off to serve us on our most important day. In a world that focuses so much on money and appearances, we've met people with deeper values ​​that go beyond profit. Our day was perfect and unique, thanks also to all the staff who supported us. Discreet, professional, but also versatile and human. Thank you so much for not setting limits, for not making us feel like you were tired, and thank you for sharing your emotions with us because, yes, I asked you to share in our joy. Do I recommend it?
