We stopped at this crotto, away from the via dei crotti. Near the hospital, gym, etc. Excellent food, ok owners and employees, perfect toilets, HACCP, etc. Hypertop. Quality tradition, etc. since 1781. WITH SI GLIA TIS SI MOOO..!!!!

Excellent Crotto in a rustic setting with two rooms, one covered for the winter and one open for the summer. The dishes are high-quality, and the Chiavennaschi gnocchetti are truly excellent and plentiful. The staff are friendly, and the service is quick and efficient. The only downside, for my personal taste, is that the dishes are very flavorful. We were nevertheless very satisfied and recommend stopping by to sample the specialties.

The braised beef with polenta was average, as was the side dish. The staff was friendly. The atmosphere could be a little more refined. The men's facilities could be significantly improved.
When I asked to use the restroom, the waitress directed me to a restroom on the same floor as the dining room, adjacent to the kitchen, and not on the ground floor where the men's restroom was located.

A very rustic restaurant with a small menu. However, the food is of very good quality and offers excellent value for money. The bresaola and tagliatelle al sugo di brasato are highly recommended. The service is very attentive and friendly. All in all, highly recommended. I will definitely come back.

Our dentist (from Chiavenna) recommended this place... Everything was delicious and traditional, from the appetizers to the pizzoccheri, from the braised beef with polenta to the desserts. Reasonable prices.
The atmosphere was very family-friendly and the service was quick. Thanks to Sara for her kindness and helpfulness.

The true gem of the valley. It's been handed down through generations for 244 years, and it shows. The best pizzoccheri I've ever eaten, delicious cured meats, and the amazing braulio sorbet. The price was very fair considering how full we were.
