Gelato Contadino In Bergamo

As a gelato student, I can honestly say that such a delicious hazelnut and such an intensely flavorful cream are truly unique. As for the fruit sorbets, what can I say? I felt like I was walking through raspberry and strawberry bushes, filling my mouth with fruit. Truly, congratulations.

We came from Turin for a trip to Bergamo, and Gelato contadino is definitely a must-see. It was our second time, and I must say that some flavors were just as good as I remembered (the caramel is poetry, the cream a work of art), but others were even more exquisite than I could have imagined (I was moved by the exceptional quality of the ricotta!). This time we also tried the fruit flavors, which are always different because they're seasonal: mulberry and mara de bois... Needless to say, you'll be speechless. To those who say the service is slow, Vittorio's service is meticulous, attentive, and passionate: you can tell he loves his product and knows it inside out. Of course, if you're looking for a quick gelato while strolling, this isn't the experience for you. But if you're looking for a unique and unrepeatable gastronomic experience (precisely because gelato is unique and unrepeatable given its unique production methods), then you absolutely must come!

Incredible, exquisite gelato, with a delicate flavor. The texture is unique, the flavors spectacular, and you can taste the high-quality ingredients. The person serving us was incredibly kind and generous. Only after tasting the gelato did I understand why those in line before me were ordering more tubs. I believe making gelato in limited quantities is an added bonus, guaranteeing its freshness. I returned twice in one day. The second time I also tried the granita, a heavenly experience.
