19/10/2025: Very friendly staff. Good food, generous appetizers, and adequate portions of first and second courses. I really enjoyed the pork with almonds, prunes, onions, and sauerkraut; it was as melt-in-the-mouth as I'd hoped. The spaghetti with wild boar ragù tasted good but seemed a bit dry. The casio appetizer was very special.

05/10/2025: The welcome was excellent, and we felt pampered by the fireplace and candlelight. The staff were extremely kind and professional, and the food was typical of the Lomellina area, with house-made dishes, excellent cured meats, and delicious pasta with ragù, including the pumpkin gnocchi.

26/09/2025: Atmosphere: 8/10 Backdoor 43 is one of Milan’s most unusual concepts. You get your own private room for an hour, with full control over the music and a setup that feels like a tiny living room surrounded by whiskey bottles. The intimacy can be a bit awkward for introverts since the bartender is part of your experience the entire time, so the usual social energy of a bar isn’t really present. The whole room functions as the backbar, and seating is fully private. Located along the canal next to MAG Café, the setting outside is vibrant and lively. Drinks: 8/10 Recommendation: BananaVardier The menu is very creative in design with a broad selection. Drinks are good in flavor and balance. Presentation is basic overall, with average glassware, simple garnishes, and straightforward ice. Coasters are nice. Service: 9/10 Service is essentially one-to-one with your personal bartender, making it extremely attentive. Water is provided on arrival. The bartender is both professional and very friendly. Reservations are mandatory, and pricing is average.

Hidden among alot generic spots around, this one highlights unique cocktails, flawless service and comfort feeling, we hit the spot right at its 10 years anniversary so we had the privilege of trying signature cocktails made by bartenders troughout this period. MUST HAVE a reservation, and the stories behind that door are so interesting

09/10/2025: We stay 2 Days from 29/09 till 01/10 /2025 this time!! It was not the First Time and we will come back more times! We stay in the upper Dobble room with Balcony and seevieuw. The brackfast is excellent ,service quick and the personal frendly. We tanks "Emma" and hope she become no more acidents in the Kitchen!

08/10/2025: It was a very positive experience staying at the Europa Hotel, which in my opinion is much better than a three-star hotel! It offers free parking and the breakfast is very generous! It's located right on the lakefront. We were even assigned a lake view room, and I really enjoyed the view of the sunrise!

01/10/2025: Located on a hill with a large terrace offering beautiful views of the hills and plains, the well-maintained establishment sells traditional homemade products. The (worker's) menu offers a variety of choices and also includes a good selection of desserts and espresso corretto (I found the pasta dishes a bit too al dente, especially the casoncelli). I recommend it! Reservations are helpful to secure a spot on the terrace.

Since then, every time I come to visit my sister, there’s one thing I always crave — a visit to Hambù. It’s not just a restaurant for me anymore; it’s a tradition, a ritual, and honestly, one of my happiest places in Italy. I was there again in July, and somehow it keeps getting better and better and better. The quality, the service, the atmosphere — everything feels perfectly balanced between casual and gourmet. You can feel the care in every detail. The burgers are pure perfection — juicy, flavorful, and crafted like a piece of art. My all-time favorite is the Chianina burger, but the Fassona Piemontese one is just as incredible — tender and bursting with authentic flavor. Their pinsa romana is another must-try — light, crispy, and unforgettable. And let’s talk about the wine — always perfectly paired, always Italian, always right. You can tell they choose with taste and heart. The staff? Warm, welcoming, and truly passionate about what they do. The ambiance? Modern yet cozy, full of energy but still relaxed enough to enjoy every sip and bite. Hambù isn’t just “a burger place.” It’s an experience — one that stays with you long after you’ve left. 15/10/2025: Food and service: Everything was top-notch. BUT...an honorable mention for the bathroom, one of the most fragrant and tidy in Valtellina. I would have loved to eat in there.

01/09/2025: After hours of walking we stopped for lunch with friends....I ate some top-notch pizzoccheri and a tender venison steak....the owner was very friendly and helpful....I will definitely return, also for the wonderful view.

20/09/2025: The staff, though a little busy and at times clearly under pressure, remained welcoming and very friendly throughout. The aperitivo was absolutely outstanding - delicious food paired with great cocktails. The rooftop view is stunning, the crowd respectful, and the overall experience felt both stylish and luxurious. It’s the kind of place you remember and want to return to again. Loved it.

17/09/2025: While passing through Milan for a day, we wanted to try a rooftop restaurant to enjoy the view. A beautiful restaurant, with a pleasant atmosphere and views of Milan's business district. Unfortunately, we weren't able to enjoy the pool, as the venue was private during our stay. The food is very good and flavorful. The wine is a bit pricey, but very good. The only downside was the unfriendly waitress.

12/10/2025: Unexpectedly came across this restaurant after having no luck at other nearby places for dinner on a Friday night sans reservation. We got so lucky to dine here and enjoy SUCH a fantastic meal! The food was delicious, the presentation and cutlery was equally as beautiful, and our server made excellent recommendations to us, including wine. I look forward to returning in the future!

19/10/2025: I've known this place for 20 years, and every time I return it's always a great pleasure. They're number one for traditional food, and the hospitality and professionalism are undeniable.

30/09/2025: For me, it's just not there. I expected much more (in every sense of the word). The quantities are negligible and the quality isn't up to par. I'm not saying the food is bad, but my expectations were higher.

21/10/2025: We reserved the private room for my parents' anniversary. It was a pleasant surprise, very welcoming and well-heated. The pizzoccheri, sciatt, and perch risotto were truly delicious. The price was right. We'll be back soon.

11/10/2025: We spent a week in Mandello and discovered this restaurant on our last day. A hidden gem on Lake Como. Excellent regional cuisine accompanied by great rock music. A cool guy and a great dining room. We'll be back next year.
