22/06/2025: We had dinner at Barmare yesterday, the place is undoubtedly well-kept and attentive to detail. The service overall was quite good apart from a small initial wait for orders (perhaps due to the presence of an 18th in the outside area). The appetizers and first courses were good, however perhaps something was missing to make them special; the burnt octopus was the best dish. Overall, a place where you can definitely eat well and enjoy the food, the only thing I think is that the prices are a bit high: 5 euros for the cover charge, two octopus tentacles 26 euros. With these prices I expect the wow factor which in my opinion was not there.

13/06/2025: We came here almost by chance, in mid-September 2024, around 2 pm, and they were still open. Very elegant place, the welcome was wonderful from the moment we set foot inside, the managers were really kind and polite. Truly spectacular 4 cheese pizza, both in taste and in dough, and we were also offered a dessert at the end. We really had a great time and we recommend it, if we find ourselves in these parts again, we will definitely stop here again!

The waitstaff will help you to learn a bit of (menu) Italian and if you attempt to do so, you will be amazed by the service! Fish and shellfish are the star here but the pastas and short rib were outstanding. Leave room for dessert. Very good wine list. Our best meal in Como!!!

26/05/2025: Elegante ristorante di un hotel molto curato e accogliente. Ben ristrutturato e magistralmente arredato in stile montano con tocchi di modernità. Ottima cucina con specialità di carne come il brasato e il cervo con polenta ma anche di pesce come il fritto misto. Non da trascurare l'antipasto della casa, davvero appetitoso. Per i più golosi, squisiti dolci. Ampia la lista dei vini. Servizio sempre attento e professionale; prezzi nella media. Comodo parcheggio

16/05/2025: Frequento il Vittoria da decenni. Questa volta è ancora migliorato, a livello arredamento. Molto gusto, stile montagna ma di livello, molto curato. Tavolo anche tondi, che favoriscono la conversazione. Si mangia bene, dalla pizza alla carne con escursioni marinare. Piatti semplici e ben fatti, porzioni giuste. Io mi trovo bene, un punto di riferimento

25/02/2025: Siamo tornati a distanza di qualche anno nell'albergo di cui il bar è una appendice separata. Anche in questa occasione abbiamo potuto assaporare le loro pietanze. Uno strudel ineguagliabile, anche in confronto con quelli provati in Alto Adige. Lo consigliamo vivamente.
