Very good food at a fair price. The atmosphere is dated but well-kept and clean. Excellent service.
Today I had the business lunch menu, but next time I'll order à la carte because they have a lot of things that look excellent.

We had a truly wonderful time at Trattoria Caricatore. The dishes are authentic, carefully prepared, and respectful of tradition. We chose the spit-roasted meat, which was excellently cooked, preceded by a tasty appetizer and excellent casoncelli pasta for the first course.
The restaurant is welcoming, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Parking is also very convenient: in addition to a few spaces in front of the restaurant, there is a large dedicated parking lot just a few minutes' walk from the restaurant, easily reached in three or four minutes.
A decidedly positive experience, which we recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy traditional dishes in a pleasant and well-organized environment.

A historic trattoria in Gussago, serving traditional Brescian cuisine. Spiedo (a spit-roasted meat) is the star. We also went for a business lunch. The dishes were excellent, including a truly delicious carbonara for the first course, roast goat with polenta, water, bread, and coffee. Cover charge was €14.

We returned to this restaurant yesterday after a few years. The food was delicious (the spit-roasted meat was superb), and the owner and staff were helpful and attentive. Congratulations! We'll definitely be back!

If you're looking for a true Brescian trattoria, Al Caricatore is a must-visit. I was immediately impressed by the appetizers: not only delicious, but also generous, a rarity these days!
For my first course, I had the paccheri with venison ragù, and they were spectacular: flavorful sauce and perfectly cooked pasta.
The atmosphere is welcoming and makes you feel right at home.
