09/09/2025: Last year I got two vouchers for a Christmas present and for myself, but unfortunately, when the spa reopened in February, I was informed that the pool was undergoing maintenance. So I called every month or so until April, based on agreements made (and I always recommend asking the person you're speaking to for their full name), explaining various reasons, and my vouchers were extended until October 25, 2025. Today I called to schedule a date and was denied because it expired on August 31st. They then told me, "We can make an exception, but you have to come by September 17th." Since I already have commitments, that's not feasible, so it can be extended, but with a 50% deposit. Obviously, this is a matter of principle, and remember that someone's word is worth nothing. If you get caught, always remember to ask for a confirmation email. Trust is a thing of the past. I was very disappointed, and obviously, even though I've been there several times and even told friends who have, that won't be the case in the future. Anyway, I thought it was right to inform you about my experience. Remember that here the SPA vouchers are valid for 6 months and are almost irremovable.

09/08/2025: Unfortunately, an unpleasant situation occurred during my visit. Upon arriving at the restaurant on Saturday at 8 p.m., we were informed that the wait for pizza would be a maximum of 30 minutes due to high demand. We agreed. After 15 or 20 minutes, a waiter approached us and took our order for two pizzas. Next to us was a full table with four Italians who arrived about 10 minutes after us. They were served first and received their orders first. We waited until 9 p.m. to order, so an hour had passed. We asked the waitress to ask the kitchen how long we would have to wait, as we had plans and were in a hurry. The waitress only asked after we asked a second time. At 9:10 p.m., the waitress returned with the information that our order would be ready in 20 minutes. We decided to leave, considering the waste of time. The waiter and waitress apologized, and we were excused from paying for water and a glass of wine. Next to us sat a family with two small children in the same situation. They asked for their order because they had been waiting for a long time and the children were hungry. What a waste of time.

27/08/2025: Taking advantage of The Fork's offer, we decided to return to Il Gusto Della Vita with friends. The quality of the dishes and ingredients is consistently top-notch, as is the service. The menu features seafood dishes and some interesting meat options. The desserts on the menu are very intriguing, and the wine selection is excellent. Among all the dishes we ordered, I particularly recommend the seared shrimp tails and the ginger parfait. The value for money, even without The Fork's 30% discount, would be impressive; with the discount, it becomes absolutely excellent. Il Gusto della Vita remains a surefire place worth a visit. Well done! 👏

15/08/2025: I'm just returning from this restaurant, and as always, I found the food excellent and the staff very kind and friendly. I had lunch in the cellar, which I found private and cool. My overall rating is excellent.

10/08/2025: Absolutely fantastic restaurant with a warm, family atmosphere! The service is quick, genuinely friendly, and makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The food is outstanding! far better than the typical tourist spots nearby. Dining here truly feels like being welcomed to a family farm, complete with friendly dogs and other farm animals wandering around. All the ingredients are locally sourced, and their own wines are an absolute must try! they pair perfectly with the dishes. Do yourself a favor and book a table in advance! it’s always full, which says a lot about the quality. If you show up without a reservation, you’ll need a bit of luck to find a spot. We loved every bite, every sip, and the entire atmosphere. One of those places you’ll remember long after your trip. Highly recommended!

15/08/2025: Nice gluten free bakery. There are several options for food. Something here gave my family some indigestion. Our guess is the gum they use in their mixes, but the flavor was ok. The server was very helpful and kind. The place is clean. Overall, a nice oasis in a land that gluten free eating can be very hard to do well. Give them a try!

12/08/2025: That place is awesome. I have to be gluten-free and dairy-free. And it's so difficult to find nice bakeries that could let you try anything. Ladies here vere so helpful with providing extra information regarding ingredients. So we bought two croissants (with jam and plain one), and several cookies. Everything were delicious. Thank you for croissants. Didn't have them for years.

They paid great attention to everything, from appetizers to dessert. Located just off Corso Como, it's the perfect place for an elegant, pleasant, and relaxing evening.

02/06/2025: Well what can I say, a wonderful location, for many occasions created in the interior of the Mantua countryside, truly an oasis of peace with an immense and well-kept garden equipped with three swimming pools, the rooms are inside an ancient farmhouse where you can still see the signs of time, the renovation, excellent, has not distorted the ancient side of the structure but where even the modernity of some architectural choices do not clash at all. The staff is incredible, they make you feel at home, quality service and the food truly sublime,

The staff were very nice: friendly and genuine, already recommended to a relative who lives nearby. Suitable for occasions but also for a quiet working lunch, without notes.

04/08/2025: Very good food. We shared tartare as antipasti then ate beef and veal as main dishes. Vegetables, potatoes and sauces were amazing too. Then crostata and tiramisu as desserts were also delicious. We enjoyed the full meal very much. The person serving us was also nice.
