01/03/2026: We chose La Madonnina as our wedding caterer, and we couldn't have asked for a better one! From the first meeting, they were helpful, professional, and attentive to the smallest details. Their menu is extensive, and the dishes are wonderful—so good we had a hard time choosing the ones for the menu. They were fantastic in everything, from the initial table selections to the meticulous organization of the day. Beyond the quality of the food, we truly appreciated their willingness to take care of all the "ancillary" tasks, such as printing menus, table plans, confetti displays, and table markers. Everyone was incredibly kind and always available to answer any questions in the months leading up to the wedding, and during the event, they were superb, even changing the buffet layout several times to accommodate the somewhat unpredictable weather. Our guests complimented both the food and the kindness and attentiveness of the entire staff. We loved everything about them; it's a choice we would make again and again! ❤️

07/03/2026: Very beautiful place, both inside and out. The food is plentiful, served quickly, and the staff is friendly and professional. I highly recommend this restaurant as it's close to the city of Mantua, yet it's surrounded by a very relaxing natural setting. Farm animals are also on the website. I promise to go again. Well done!

It's an intimate place, with just a handful of seats, where the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and authentic. There's no traditional cuisine here, but a meticulously curated selection of local products, presented and described by the host with passion, expertise, and love for Bergamo's traditions. Incredible cheeses, cured meats, and meats of the highest quality, carefully selected and carefully sourced ingredients. Each bite is accompanied by the host's story, transforming a simple dinner into a true sensory and cultural experience. You can sense that behind every dish there's research, experience, and respect for the ingredients. It's not a "commercial" or overly advertised place, and that's precisely its charm...it's authentic, genuine, built on quality and human connection. You feel like a guest, not a customer. Reservations are required given the intimate size of the place, but it's absolutely worth it. We give it top marks and recommend it to anyone looking for a different experience, filled with authentic flavors, an intimate atmosphere, and genuine passion. We'll definitely be back.

14/03/2026: A truly disappointing experience. We arrived with our baby in a stroller and, instead of being greeted normally like any other customer, we were placed at a table outside the main dining room, practically in a corner between the entrance door, the fish refrigerator, and the coat check. An uncomfortable, cold, and undignified place to eat, which made us feel distinctly left out just because we had a baby in a stroller. In 2026, it's unacceptable for a family to be treated this way. A restaurant should welcome all customers with respect, not relegate them to a corner as if they were a problem. An experience that unfortunately doesn't make us want to return. Perhaps it would be helpful to remember that a child isn't a nuisance, but simply another customer. PS: I chose to give two stars only because I want this review to be read and seen by as many people as possible. If it were based on the experience I had, the score would have been zero.

03/03/2026: I'm sharing this review for those of us who, like us, chose to organize a business dinner as a social gathering outside of work, but found ourselves having to manage different dietary requirements. We booked several weeks in advance, immediately notifying them that there would be a vegan and a vegetarian at the table. We were assured there would be no problems. Unfortunately, once we arrived at the restaurant, the person in charge of welcoming us seemed clearly struggling to offer suitable alternatives. The result was that one person dined on a simple plate of pasta with tomato sauce and a pumpkin cream soup. Considering that, with a bottle of budget-friendly wine, we spent around €70 each, we would have expected more attention and care, especially after having communicated our needs in advance. The staff was friendly, and we understand that vegan cuisine isn't the restaurant's focus. However, there was a certain superficiality in the handling of our request, both in terms of the variety of options and in relation to the overall cost of the evening.

09/03/2026: Lunch at this trattoria was the most enjoyable experience of the day. The place is well-kept, with a vaguely old-world feel, and the staff is friendly and professional. Stopping for lunch on a weekday, we also found it rather empty and quiet. We ordered malfatti and casoncelli, both delicious, and for dessert a crispy basket and a creamy dessert. Everything was delicious!

15/12/2025: We received a complimentary upgrade to a suite (with private access in the courtyard). There was a steam room in the shower, which felt wonderful in the evenings (we traveled in December). The staff is very kind and friendly. The breakfast was truly excellent by Italian standards. The selection was outstanding. Overall, the hotel has a very pleasant, chic, and modern ambiance. Highly recommended! The location is a bit out of the way, but there are two bus stops for line 19 within easy walking distance. This bus goes directly into the city center.

07/03/2026: An oasis of peace in the Montevecchia and Curone Valley Park. The silence of the night and the chirping of birds in the morning are a rare luxury these days. An excellent dinner, with traditional Brianza dishes cooked and presented to perfection. The vegetarian options were also a pleasant surprise. The San Giobbe wine proved to be a perfect, balanced, and versatile accompaniment throughout the dinner. The staff was courteous, knowledgeable, and never intrusive. If I really had to suggest improvement, the service could be a little aloof at times, although I understand the desire for professionalism in this approach.

19/11/2025: We spent one night nearby in Menaggio. The hotel recommended this restaurant to us. We were also allowed to use the shuttle service (pick-up and drop-off to/from the hotel) free of charge. So we treated ourselves to two fantastic, different set menus, including drinks. It was a feast! There's nothing more to say – simply delicious. Right at the beginning, even before ordering, we were served fresh, warm bread straight from the oven. After dessert, we were presented with a whole bottle each of Thymicello and the house Amaro! We could drink as much as we wanted – free of charge. Seriously – where else do you find that? It's incredible. And yes, you can't drink the whole bottle – obviously, but that's not the point. The gesture and the trust shown are amazing! The service was also very friendly, efficient, and attentive, just like in a Michelin-starred restaurant! It couldn't have been better, and it didn't need to be. A definite recommendation.

30/10/2025: Passing through with friends, we enjoyed this restaurant and ordered the tasting menu, which was very generous. We had a wonderful meal; the food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the view of the lake was lovely. We highly recommend it.

15/03/2026: Excellent location with a 180° view of the lake right on the water's edge, excellent food made with quality ingredients, and truly friendly and knowledgeable staff! A top 5-star experience!
