24/09/2025: I usually review at the end of my stay, but this time I can't resist and do it right away, because they deserve all the stars possible here!!! First of all, the quality/service and price ratio are unmatched. Very rarely will you find all this, spending so little and I'm talking about the hotel. Right from the booking: the best price is through their website, where you can book and check-in. After that, you will receive a series of messages, including the password to enter the building and do everything yourself. In our case, however, they welcomed us, because when they can, they prefer to be there in person. The room and bathroom are spacious and comfortable. There is even a small living room that looks out onto the river, very bright. It has been recently renovated. A gem: you can use a comfortable lounge, open 24/7 where you can have a snack, or enjoy a herbal tea ☕️, a coffee or a tea, reading a book. 📚 and the thing that amazed us was that everything is included in the price. If you think that usually you pay at least 1.50 for a simple bottle of water [extra]. Naturally, it is in the good sense of the guests not to gorge themselves and take too much advantage of the free service. I know, I'm writing a poem ... but I wouldn't want to leave anything out. For those who love tranquility and nature, it is the ideal place. Among other things, behind the hotel passes the wonderful Val Brembana cycle-pedestrian path. Furthermore, a 10-minute walk away you can admire a beautiful village that is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. (Cornello del Tasso). But do we want to talk about the kindness of the owner or manager (I don't know...)? In addition to his fluent and cultured way of speaking? I really don't know how to express all my joy and satisfaction. The restaurant service is à la carte and even there, what can I say? Reasonable prices for the quality of the raw materials [0 km], service and location. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!!!!

21/09/2025: We went on Saturday: saffron and porcini risotto was delicious, followed by braised cabbage with apples that was super delicious... and grilled sea bass that was equally delicious. We'll definitely be back.

22/10/2025: A truly family-run business with heart and soul since 1965 A wonderful restaurant with tradition and charm. The elegant, stylish ambiance creates a very pleasant atmosphere where you immediately feel welcome. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. You can feel the passion that goes into their work. I felt completely at home. The food was excellent, and there was a fine selection of excellent wine to accompany it. A place I would happily recommend and will certainly visit again.

04/10/2025: I stayed for a week in one of the apartments at this property. The location is enchanting, surrounded by greenery and beautiful olive trees, yet very close to the center of Desenzano. Elisabetta, her mother, and her entire family were incredibly welcoming, kind, and hospitable! They were always smiling! The apartment was beautiful and clean, with a full kitchen, which we never used out of sheer laziness. In fact, we ate at their restaurant every evening. The appetizers were delicious (very fresh burrata and excellent cured meats), various fish-based first courses, and delicious fresh pasta with bagoss cheese, tender and tender. The pizzas are equally fantastic. The Mantovana was my favorite. Breakfast was served by Elisabetta, accompanied by her assistant Bart (a beautiful, sweet, and well-behaved corgi), and we enjoyed some fresh cakes baked by her mother and a delicious cappuccino. Overall, I recommend this property for its beautiful location, the warm welcome from the owners, the excellent food, and a wonderful pool for relaxing.

02/10/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance and it was a pleasant surprise. We had dinner for two. The staff were very kind and knowledgeable, the menu was extensive and interesting, the quality excellent, and the price fair. It's a shame we don't live nearby, but we would have loved to return. Highly recommended! Well done!

21/09/2025: Let me start by saying that I've rarely tasted such good risottos!!! More than a trattoria, however, this is a truly elegant restaurant, with restaurant-like prices. It does, however, retain the welcoming atmosphere of a trattoria. It doesn't have its own parking lot, although there are some nearby. Reservations are highly recommended: I've seen several customers "bounced" due to the restaurant being so full! We ordered (there were three of us): sciatt with salad and balsamic glaze; porcini mushroom and blueberry risotto; perch risotto; half a liter of house white wine; coffee and Anima Nera bitters (licorice-flavored). The portions are generous. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the clientele is select. The price is in line with both the quality of the dishes and, I'd say, the quantity! We'll definitely be back!!!

24/09/2025: We ordered seafood starters, all excellent and well-cooked. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. In addition to the restaurant, they also offer pizza for lunch and dinner, including takeout. They use a wood-fired oven. From Monday to Friday, you can choose the daily menu (first course, second course, side dish, water, and coffee) at a fixed price of €12.

Chosen for our wedding reception, everything was perfect: a wonderful and meticulously maintained location, a very romantic atmosphere, quality and refined dishes, impeccable service, and the staff were courteous and helpful. Chef Alessio was incredibly kind and professional. We were completely satisfied! Highly recommended!!!

11/10/2025: It's a must-try during stays in Alta Valtellina. Sciatt are the classic, unmissable appetizer, followed by a good first or second course of meat. On the other hand, the pizza 🍕 isn't among my favorites.

14/10/2025: Small but perfectly formed, tucked away in a side street, the couple who run it are the perfect hosts. Authentic cuisine, lovingly prepared. It's well worth a visit. Please make a reservation, as it books up quickly.

06/10/2025: I attended my brother-in-law's wedding anniversary at this exceptional restaurant, and never before had I tasted such exquisite dishes thanks to the quality of the ingredients used and the mastery of the chef, not to mention the impeccable service provided by the highly professional young staff. Special mention goes to Domenica, who explained in great detail the deliciousness of the dishes we ordered, in addition to her truly unique kindness. Also noteworthy is the excellent selection of wines, including international ones, to suit all palates. We will certainly return, and for anyone reading this review who doesn't want any unpleasant surprises, we absolutely recommend it.

16/10/2025: Delicious dinner, from appetizer to dessert. We come here once a year when we're passing through, and it's a guaranteed success! Very kind and attentive staff, high-quality cuisine with unique and refined dishes. The tiramisu in particular was excellent, light and with just a few ladyfingers, just the way I like it.

31/07/2025: Had dinner last night after a couple of years. Excellent renovation of the veranda. The quality of the food (fish dinner) and service is consistently high. We had a Gin and Tonic, very well prepared by the waitress. Highly recommended.
