Very friendly people, both the owner and the staff. Very attentive, you feel well taken care of. The food was first class, from A to Z. We will definitely be back.

Excellent ingredients, extremely interesting dishes, well cooked and excellently presented.
Great courtesy and professionalism of the dining room staff. In the kitchen, as in the rest of the restaurant, a group of extremely well-trained young people are at work.
Absolutely recommended.
11/02/2025: A very pleasant and abundant dinner, I enjoyed the vegetarian menu which was above expectations. The dining room staff was welcoming, delightful and extremely attentive to the customer experience albeit in an informal manner.
The venue is very well organized and furnished, an experience I highly recommend

31/03/2025: As a tourist you are always looking for a place to eat well, be treated with respect and friendliness in a comfortable environment. We found all this at Shabby Grill. Starting from the well-kept and welcoming room to the refined food of the first courses and the vast selection of aged meats. Add to that a staff that from the beginning to the end of the service served with friendliness and professionalism. The owner and "future owner" are truly people of taste.
30/03/2025: If you are looking for a restaurant where quality is the real protagonist, this is the right place. The meat is excellent, carefully selected and processed to perfection. But the quality here is found in every detail: from the extraordinary tartare to the homemade bread, which surpasses even the best bakeries in Milan. And speaking of bread, here you can also find an incredible carob version, probably the only one in Milan to do so.
The menu is a continuous discovery: the hazelnut risotto is a perfect balance of flavors, while the gorgonzola ice cream is something spectacular, one of a kind. Even those who don't like meat will find exceptional products, chosen with the same attention to quality.
Walter, the owner, is an incredible character, welcoming and passionate, capable of making every dinner special, whether it be an intimate meeting or an evening with friends. All in an authentically shabby atmosphere, in the heart of Milan, San Siro area.
An experience to try and recommend without hesitation.

On the nostalgic notes of "Io vagabondo" you could find yourself one day in a remote rural village (apparently) like many others in the Vigevano area, but this idea immediately passes over you if you look around, along its streets lined with reproductions of famous works of art.
Following the latter in a narrow street in the centre, you come across a colourful, unexpected period courtyard and the entrance to the restaurant, with a typically Lombard name, and with its portico which introduces you directly to the interior, but with a wooden door which still hides everything from you, leaving room for a final act of mystery and surprise to your imagination.
Inside, Stefano and his father at the counter welcome you more than affably, while in the kitchen the family is completed with sister and mother; Three rooms visually await you in front of you which, with materials and colors (combined with the probably intentional "dim" lighting), take you back in time, suggesting the original peasant architecture, with entablatures and not very high ceilings.
All the contents of the à la carte menu (which is periodically revisited) are particular, and with flavors of bygone eras. The aromatic Ippocrasso wine is certainly noteworthy: red version for cheeses and desserts, white version for pairing with desserts. The cutting boards, metro or smaller ones, feature local or national cured meats and cheeses.
The first courses are presented with tagliatelle or spaghettoni, with house or venison ragù. For those who want to immerse themselves in the surrounding environments, the risotto with gorgonzola and porcini mushrooms is certainly worth tempting.
The second courses enthrall you with wild boar or pork with an ancient flavour, accompanied by spices, baked potatoes and porcini mushrooms here too. If you don't want to forget anything about the poor art in the kitchen, you can request polenta concia, which has its origins in Piedmont, Lombardy and Val d'Aosta by throwing in toma, gorgonzola and fontina. The recommended wine is a red and organic Bufnìs, IGT, from 2019 (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc vines).
What about desserts? Suffer or try? I would say give it a try, if you are still physically fit after the above (the portions are certainly not small)!!! You can start from the tart (with plum jam), moving on to the cakes (with amaretto and Grand Marnier, or cocoa with cream, coconut and rum). Along the lines of a fried egg, you are instead treated to a succulent panna cotta with berries.
As a first-time guest, I can only give a positive expression to everything, the environmental scenography and the food. Definitely worth trying again and more calmly, to be able to fully enjoy the combination just mentioned offered by the very cordial family management.
Only note, without knowing the underlying reasons for their creation: the toilets should be presented in a form more suited to the convenience of all types of customers who arrive, to fully adapt to what is offered in other respects.
09/02/2025: On a rainy Sunday, chance brought us to this very characteristic place. Warm and welcoming environment, fireplace lit, well-composed and varied menu. The Byzantine soup and the pomegranate cheeks and, in the end, biscuits with white seahorse are highly recommended

07/02/2025: My partner and I went for lunch yesterday and I couldn't help but give a positive review of this beautiful place. Meanwhile, it is ACCESSIBLE FOR DISABLED PEOPLE IN WHEELCHAIRS but the bathroom is not!!!
The room is really beautiful with a beautiful atmosphere given by background music…. I ate divine fish dishes, certainly not suitable for all budgets, but the quality was there. Very kind staff and we really had a really good time. I thank the staff and the owner for their serenity and courtesy.

Excellent welcome from the dining room staff.
Opted for the work menu (15 euros each) with first course, second course and side dish, 1/2 of loose Marzemino Bergamasco red wine for two, and 1 bottle of carbonated mineral water. Coffee ☕️
First course: fusilli in bread crumbs.
Basically a paste of garlic, chilli oil and toasted breadcrumbs. Good in flavor, a little over cooked for my personal taste.
Tasty speak macaroni and tomato.
Second course: strips of beer-baked chicken with a side of polenta and boiled vegetables.
All very pleasant.
Coffee ☕️ good good!
We will definitely return one evening for dinner to try the à la carte menu.

09/03/2025: Pizza in Pala, practically one Pala is equivalent to 2 pizzas, you can choose the topping for each half of the pala, it's a shame that a whole Pala margherita costs €28, some go up to €38 which is shocking. The pizza is nothing special, very soft because it is highly hydrated but both the dough and the sauce are not very tasty. Nice place, very small and very noisy, it seems to be created from a glass-enclosed outbuilding. I strongly advise against it, there are gourmet pizzas, one costs €32, in fact whoever takes it divides it into 2 but this way you eat very little. In Castione della Presolana there are really good pizzerias, very typical environments with normal prices. Service nothing special given that the environment is very modern on the tables there are placemats instead of tablecloths, so they don't have the cost of laundry.

02/04/2025: We came across this small but exquisite restaurant through Google reviews. We had a truly wonderful time. A delicious bottle of wine, a starter, a main course, and dessert were a must. We love fish and seafood, so this place is perfect for us.
I would go back to this restaurant in a heartbeat if I ever come back to this area when I'm in Milan. Everything was just perfect: the food, the service, the ambiance, and the price.

23/03/2025: To get to the cabin they pick you up with a sled in the square which is a very nice thing. The dinner was excellent in terms of quality and price. There was an inconvenience with the allergens, my son is allergic to milk and he had a risotto containing milk which however was not indicated on the menu. Luckily he was fine and they kindly offered us his dinner. They were kind, but I still recommend being careful in these cases. In any case it is a highly recommended place
22/03/2025: We booked a few days in advance, we visited on March 3, 2025.
A unique experience, you arrive at Plaza Placheda and they pick you up on a sled motorbike for a cost of €5 per person return, a dream location with a view of Livigno from above. Knowledgeable waiters, just the right portions. Excellent quality-price ratio because it is an experience anyway.
Leaving aside the service charge and water,

2 pizzoccheri: €25
1 tiramisu: €6.5
Total experience €84
Perhaps the only thing that is a little expensive is the cost/piece for the Sciatt but that should not be a criticism.
