17/12/2024: Historic place in Testaccio, truly top-class pastry shop, always friendly staff, welcoming location. The pistachio fillings are absolutely worth trying.

08/12/2024: I do not recommend this place, we paid 3x more for coffee than on the menu, probably a special price for tourists. Mega disappointment.

31/08/2024: Ideal for a quick lunch break - foccacia, pizza and extra - everything was very good, fast service with very good value for money. In addition we opted to eat in the bar opposite (we order drinks in this bar and we can eat our sandwiches ordered at Forno Campo)

04/08/2024: Locale intimo a conduzione famigliare, ben curato e tranquillo, si sta dentro (con aria condizionata). Antipasto di pesce in diverse portate, scelta tra 3 primi di pesce. Non abbiamo preso dolce. La vera forza di questo ristorante, oltre alla grande simpatia della proprietaria, è la qualità (e abbondanza) dei piatti. Ingredienti di prima scelta cucinati divinamente! Olio del frantoio di Canino, pesce freschissimo. Posso dire che erano anni che non mangiavo così bene! Non cercate il menu, non ce n'è bisogno.. Affidatevi alla signora che vi accoglie e vi serve, non ve ne pentirete. Abbiamo speso 35 euro/persona con due bottiglie di vino in 4. In assoluto la migliore esperienza culinaria a Montalto

16/12/2024: Excellent restaurant. I don't give excellence only because the portions were perhaps too small. However, the staff is very kind and very helpful. The open kitchen is a plus and the environment is very comfortable. Certainly not for all budgets but of very high quality.

14/11/2024: We're not quite there... quality meat on paper but with an absolutely mediocre taste... I'll start by saying that I've already eaten scottona and I know very well what it is... well, I've rarely found a more mediocre one than this... the starters are the same: spaghetti meat doesn't suck but I wouldn't call it exceptional either. Everything in this restaurant is mediocre, I would perhaps save the side dishes. Now this in itself is not a problem, I imagine you are wondering "why then two stars? “. The reason is given by the fact that I paid the same amount that I would have paid at my trusted grill restaurants (spoiler: quite a bit) and ate significantly worse, and there is nothing that pisses me off more than spending money on bad food. or at least discreet... the problem is that it's not so bad that it makes you complain, but it's not even good enough to make you get up satisfied and shake hands with the owner, it's in that cursed limbo between the two. Personally I don't recommend it considering the amount you could spend as there are much better things around and finding myself in other negative reviews I honestly don't understand how it manages to have a score of 4.5 (which isn't high, those are the places from 4.7 to 4.9 if they don't have bought reviews, but it's not even average)

05/12/2024: Attratta dai post pubblicati su Facebook decido di andare con la mia famiglia a provare questo ristorante anche in previsione di prendere da loro il catering per la vigilia di capodanno. Nelle polpette di melanzana ho trovato un aglio intero che per fortuna sono riuscita a levare prima di masticarlo. L’ hamburger era veramente fatto male e la carbonara era liquida, una cosa veramente vergognosa. Le cameriere sono molto gentili ma non bastano a sopperire alla cucina veramente di basso livello. Dimenticavo, dei piatti postati su Facebook nemmeno l’ombra.

24/12/2024: Super hip bar filled with locals. Definitely feels like I'm in Rome. Beers are good and well priced. Cocktails are dangerously cheap.

21/12/2024: We went for a drink after dinner, I ordered a whisky sour, but it had a strong after taste so I returned it. When the bill arrived and we saw that they still charged us I asked the waitress who said “it is fine, if you don’t like it then it is your problem”. So I suggest you don’t have less problems by not going there!

24/12/2024: Beautiful experience on the occasion of my 70th birthday, the starter was excellent, the first course was plentiful, offering classics of Italian cuisine with modern and tasty gourmet variations, the meat and fish were excellent, and finally the cake was spectacular. Pleasant experience and definitely worth repeating.

23/12/2024: Pizza buona il personale e giovane e gentile molto preparato e con tanta voglia di migliorare,perché ricordiamoci che anche i migliori chef stellati vogliono sempre migliorare, la prossima volta proverò la carne che alla sola vista mentre servivano gli altri sembrava ottima. Ah dimenticavo i dolci sono insuperabili. DA PROVARE. BRAVI BRAVI BRAVI A TUTTO LO STAFF.

21/10/2024: I stayed for 2 nights, my small bedroom was very clean including the bathroom!......I want to add that the manager accompanied us (him with his personal car and us with ours) to a place where we needed to go , he was really kind also because all he had to do was explain to us verbally how to reach him. We had a great time including breakfast. Advise! Greetings from Turin.

09/11/2024: The restaurant offers very interesting local cuisine, which I personally liked. The menu of the day recommended to us by the owner was satisfactory and the attention to service, despite the numerous seats to manage, was also impeccable. I definitely recommend

02/10/2024: We had lunch with some friends and I must say I ate really well. The quality and quantity of the dishes were really excellent, exceeding our expectations. The service was up to par: the waiters were always very helpful and attentive to our needs. The only flaw was the absence of a written menu; the dishes were dictated to us orally without actually knowing the prices, making it impractical to ask for details on the costs of individual dishes. However, considering that we spent around 35 euros per person for a starter, first course, dessert, bitters and coffee, the quality-price ratio was more than satisfactory. Overall, I highly recommend "La Lanterna" to anyone looking for great Italian cuisine in Frosinone.

28/12/2024: Located immersed in the woods, there is a centuries-old oak tree under which you can eat. Generous, delicious and genuine dishes. We ate in the room with the fireplace. The owners very kind. Highly recommended.☺️
