08/03/2026: Shabby place, very very poor and slow service, mediocre food. Go somewhere else.

02/03/2026: I usually refrain from writing negative reviews, but in this case, I can't help but. The restaurant is charming, the staff friendly, and the food good, but the photos on the website are misleading, as the appetizers are modest for the €14 price tag, as are the entrees. The kitchen should be better organized, since there were five of us and we ate at three different times.

16/02/2026: A nice, new, clean place with a two-story "four seasons" dining room, staff who welcome you with a smile, and a medium-low quality/price ratio. For my taste, the pizza wasn't the ideal thickness, especially in the center, where the dough was almost nonexistent and the flavors were barely adequate. Again, my personal taste. Overall, it's worth coming.

09/01/2026: A place where you can enjoy fried fish, especially mixed seafood, without that annoying, typical fried smell, which is already a good thing. The bread they serve is delicious—a real treat. The staff are friendly, and the prices are reasonable compared to average. I'd say it was a pleasant evening.

28/02/2026: My wife and I had lunch on Saturday: excellent porcini mushroom fettuccine; tender and flavorful grilled lamb; sublime tiramisu; Extremely efficient and friendly service (they welcomed us without a reservation), never intrusive. And Chef Valerio is a wonderful person, down-to-earth and competent. We'll definitely be back.

11/03/2026: One of the best pizzas in town, but with the most surly, rude waitress you can imagine. If you don't buy a soft drink, she even takes your glass away, doesn't ask when she'll bring your coffee or dessert, just throws it there... Shocking!!!!

13/12/2025: The restaurant is located in the Romanina area and has private parking. The outdoor area was closed due to winter, but it's very charming with wooden tables nestled among enormous Buddha heads and small ponds filled with goldfish. The indoor area is equally beautiful, with seating at wooden tables (predominant throughout the restaurant) or on sofas with oversized cushions in designated areas. The menu is comprehensive and varied; we tried the fried food and pizza, and I must say everything was very good. Prices are average. Highly recommended.

12/03/2026: We had a truly enjoyable evening. We started with two spectacular first courses: carbonara and gricia with homemade pasta, both delicious, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. We were also surprisingly offered a small sample of oxtail stew, a truly appreciated gesture that made us feel truly pampered. Special thanks to Mattia, who was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive: his hospitality made us feel right at home. For our second course, we chose pork belly, equally tasty and well-cooked. It was all accompanied by an excellent local wine that perfectly complemented the dinner. A truly positive experience: authentic cuisine, delicious dishes, and warm service. We will definitely be back! ❤️

10/03/2026: Since I'm not from Rome, I asked for advice on where to eat. Osteria Urbana was a pleasant surprise. Excellent food; I had spectacular fried artichokes. The carbonara was top-notch, and the braised beef melted in your mouth. Service was friendly and quite smooth. The place was very nice. Next time I'm in Rome, I'll stop here again.

07/03/2026: So good and so much authenticity! So many shops in Roma where to buy cheap pasta, but nothing as good and as cheap as Pastificio Guerra!

When a complaint is made, the waiters try to intimidate the customer instead of solving the problem. This is not fine dining — it's pure arrogance without substance. A restaurant like this deserves zero for service. The owners are rude, dismissive, and completely unfit to run a hospitality business. Worst restaurant experience in Rome. If you want to eat good fish, go to Pierluigi or Assunta Madre. Avoid Il San Lorenzo — even for free. A place that honestly should be shut down Il San Lorenzo – Shameful Service Despite the food quality being just okay, the service is simply awful. The waiters and owners are rude, arrogant, unpleasant, and disgusting. It's clear that non-Italians aren't treated with respect. The attitude is aggressive, intimidating, and completely unprofessional. They don't even know how to properly serve wine, which is unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber. When a problem is raised, the waiters try to intimidate the customer instead of resolving the situation. This is not a high-end restaurant—it's pure arrogance. The service deserves a zero rating. The owners are ridiculous, rude, and unfit to run a restaurant. The worst restaurant in Rome. If you want serious seafood, go to Pierluigi or Assunta Madre. Avoid Il San Lorenzo, even for free. A real dive of a restaurant that deserves to close.

07/03/2026: Adorable family run restaurant in Tagliacozzo! We are glad we finally went there! The homemade pasta and the mixed grill were absolutely delish! And a "crema catalana" to die for! The owners are so welcoming that you surely feel home. Highly recommended with reasonable prices!

08/12/2025: I tried this restaurant last night and I must say it was a real surprise. From the moment you enter, you sense care, dedication, and love in every detail, starting with the welcome. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready to recommend the perfect dish. The prices aren't low, but they're fully justified. I was truly amazed that, unlike many other restaurants that charge high prices and tiny portions, here everything is in proportion: the dishes are plentiful, well-prepared, and made with quality ingredients. A rare balance that makes the experience even more satisfying. Special thanks go to the young man who looked after us during dinner. I had ordered a salmon dish that, while good, wasn't to my personal taste. Without me asking, he offered to replace it, and even though I refused because it was my mistake, he decided to remove it from the bill anyway. An unnecessary gesture, but one that demonstrates how much attention and care they have for their customers. Well done: I'll be back soon and will definitely recommend it to my friends. I highly recommend the prawn tartare on taralli and burrata crumble and the baked calamari: spectacular.

05/12/2025: Friendliness, friendliness, commitment, flavor, quantity. I tried the daily specials like cod meatballs, soup with minestra and mussels. The puntarelle were superbly seasoned and delicious. Special mention: it's hard to find fresh and delicious bread like theirs in a restaurant!
