25/07/2026: My move deserved a film crew. Last Monday, I moved to Villaggio Adriano, and the trip was something between a comedy and Noah's Ark: in the car were me, my son, my brother, two cats, a dog, and a rabbit. All that was missing was the giraffes, and we could have docked directly on Mount Ararat. After hours of traveling, we arrived at 9:40 PM, tired, hungry, and certain that everything would be closed. Instead, fate had decided to give me a gift: the Cardinal Lounge. I walked in almost apologetically, because they were closing, and asked if it was still possible to get three takeout pizzas. They could have said no. It would have been understandable. Instead, they looked at me, saw my face, the castaway of the move, and, with a kindness that is increasingly rare these days, they went back to making them. The next day, I went back to thank them. Then I went back again. And then again. Because the beauty of the Cardinal Lounge isn't just the delicious food. It's the atmosphere that makes you let your guard down, strike up a conversation with those around you, and feel welcome even if you've just arrived in a city where you don't know anyone. Moving means leaving behind pieces of your life and starting over. Finding a place like this, on my first night, was a small gift of fate. I'm convinced that the Cardinal Lounge will become my Tivoli refuge, the place to go when I want to eat well, have a laugh, and feel a little more at home. Thank you to the owners for not seeing a last-minute guest, but someone who needed a little welcome. Sometimes it's precisely these gestures that make the difference. And, after all, the first people who made me feel truly welcome in Tivoli were you.

24/07/2026: I've dined at this intimate restaurant on several occasions. The dishes are delicious and carefully prepared. Truly of the highest quality. Nothing is overlooked, from the raw ingredients to the final dish. Highly recommended!

07/07/2026: Thoughtful dishes, unconventional combinations, and an excellent presentation of flavors that you'll miss for at least three days. The intimate atmosphere and good background music are a welcome addition. I'd gladly return if I were to be in the area again.

23/07/2026: We went to a local birthday party and were as delighted as we were stuffed. Roberto provided excellent service, explaining each dish to us individually. He started with a wide selection of appetizers, highlighting the asparagus omelet, followed by a tasting of two pasta dishes: one Sicilian-style with a delicious thick pasta and another called fieno with very thin strands of mushroom pasta. A must-visit in the area.

09/08/2026: Wonderful, best value pasta in Rome. 2 options, that vary by day. We had a fettuccine al sugo with pork and parmesan, the other option was rigatoni with broccoli. It was lovely. Portions are way bigger than in other places in Rome. Staff was very friendly and explained the concept. Only tables to stand, no seating available

06/04/2026: Probably because it was Easter Monday, but there was a huge disorganization. A table booked a month ago was completely forgotten, placed at the last minute and in the sun. Food except for the meat, dessert completely forgotten. A disaster! Except for the service guys, the friendly waiters, and despite the poor bastards who were completely disorganized by the owners, they were great! Nicolas was so nice, always smiling and kind!

31/03/2026: A surprising, unknown place. We ate very well, excellent meat. We'll be back to try the first courses. The Fork discount is also excellent.

11/06/2026: If you're looking for authentic Ariccia porchetta, this is the place. The porchetta is simply exceptional: crispy crust, flavorful meat, and a perfect balance of lean and fat. You can immediately taste the quality of the ingredients and the care with which they're prepared. All the other products also deserve a special mention: the guanciale, pancetta, coppiette, cheeses, and Genzano bread are truly top-notch. A special thanks to Eleonora, always smiling, available, and ready to advise each customer with passion and expertise. You can tell she loves her job and is carrying on a family tradition with great pride. An experience that goes beyond a simple purchase. We'll definitely be back!!

11/06/2026: We came to Ariccia to try the famous porchetta, and Diana Aricina was recommended to us. We can say we made the best choice. Extraordinary porchetta, excellent products, and a welcome you'll never forget. Eleonora guided us through our selection with great kindness and generosity, even sharing the history of her business with us. It's rare to find people who still work with this passion. We'll take home the memory of a fantastic lunch and a wonderful experience!

16/10/2025: I can't really rate the food since i only ordered a few drinks here. But the location is very nice and cozy and the staff is very friendly. The drinks are high quality and made with noticeable effort, they taste great either way. 10/10 would come again, highly recommend it to passers by.

05/08/2026: We came here on our last night in Rome with a group of 8. They easily sat us, had friendly service, and the food was made to order. Everything we ordered was cooked perfect and had good flavor. This is a family-owned kitchen and it showed. The one guy seemed intrigued that we were American, and probably thought we couldn't understand him when he talked about my step daughter as we were leaving. 🫠

15/07/2026: A really nice place for an aperitivo or dinner. The food is good. We enjoyed the fried chicken strips, the fries, and the anchovy focaccia. The aperitif, on the other hand, is a bit disappointing; the appetizers are truly meager: a small supplì, an avocado and cherry tomato tart, and a rubbery mini taco. The cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, are good. However, they don't offer a drink and appetizer option, so the aperitivo is quite expensive.
