21/06/2025: It was the most beautiful joy of the week, if not of the month, very kind staff, final discount + potatoes offered, food of an alarming quality, I recommend everyone to come here

02/06/2025: Location neat, clean and welcoming. Friendly and professional staff, the bill in line with what was consumed but as far as the food is concerned in my opinion we are not there. We ordered courgette flowers and fried chanterelle mushrooms as an appetizer, both good, a mixed grill of meat and 2 carbonara or rather 4 ……. the first time the pasta (short) was more than al dente. Reported to the staff in the dining room, the latter took away the dishes who, after having noted the actual undercooking of the pasta and having apologized to the chef, proposed the same dish again with, this time, a fusillone which, unfortunately this time, was more than cooked. At this point we got up, obviously leaving the plate, we asked for the bill, we paid and, after paying, we expressed our disappointment with the dish which, apparently, was not appreciated by the owner who responded sarcastically with a "I imagined".

14/06/2025: I ate in the veranda and despite the scorching heat I had a pretty good time. I ate really well, despite not having read updated reviews (I thought the place was not very popular but despite it being a Thursday lunch I found people). Excellent ravioli with pesto. They have a very large outdoor space that I didn't imagine

08/06/2025: The menu is not very clear, especially when it says "choice"....but they do as they please. They brought me a second course and a first course that I didn't choose (gnocchi with blueberries and a scaloppine, also not chosen) that I honestly hate!!! The menu says "tasting" with a choice of foods that they didn't let me choose.

03/06/2025: I visited the Tularù company to learn about their philosophy and their business reality. A new way of thinking about agriculture from the point of view of agricultural practice, environmental and social function and development of the territory....and you eat well too!

17/05/2025: Tularù is a special place, where Miguel and Alessandra are creating a wonderful project of inclusion, of rediscovering our agricultural and pastoral roots. We ate exceptionally, with local products prepared with care. The bread of Tularù reminded me of my grandmother's, a bread from other times, a bread made with the ancient grains of our ancestors. I will return soon and I recommend everyone to go!

01/07/2025: You should definitely not go there. They charged me an exorbitant price for beer. I want to scold myself for going in without doing my research just because it seemed like a nice place.

06/08/2025: We came twice to this little spot for Aperitivo and it was great. We could tell the locals come here and it’s not a typical tourist trap. They gave us chips, huge olives and some delicious sandwiches with the Spritz. They also have affordable prices. Definitely a good place to stop by after a long day walking in Rome

02/05/2025: Very welcoming staff, a rich and vast menu of sandwiches for all tastes and affordable prices. During peak hours you may have to wait a bit due to the influx of customers including workers and students but given the quality this is to be expected. Located near the Sapienza University and the post office centre, a must for those who choose a quick and tasty lunch.

13/03/2025: Nice and well looked after place. There are also seats outside the shop. Fast service and friendly staff. Sandwiches of all flavors even for vegans.

05/08/2025: We went for dinner; the location is certainly very charming, but it wasn't balanced by the food. They served us eggplant parmigiana that was dry and burned, a lentil soup that was neither praise nor infamy, and barbecued red sea bream that was served cold. Special mention should be made of the rudeness of the sommelier, who, when we asked for protection from the wind, offered a blanket. Definitely not up to expectations.

31/07/2025: We have dined at EEA every year for the past few years. It never disappoints. The food is absolutely delicious and the setting is beautiful. Thank you again for our waitress (Rajuvita? We know whe have this wrong, but we hope she knows who she is. Lovely Indian woman), who has always been super professional and an absolute delight. We look forward to returning next year.

18/07/2025: A Roman colleague of mine took me here because I personally want to try the restaurants where real locals go. And thank goodness! A little place in a cute little square in the historic center, delicious food, and perfect fried food. Halfway between street food and a trattoria. Highly recommended 🍟🐟🍴🍷

02/08/2025: We ate gnocchi and fish and the food was very tasty. However, I have rarely encountered this type of slowness. Only one of the servers too orders. She seemed to be in charge, but that meant that we had to wait while she took care of all sorts of things before we could even order. Then it took quite a while until we received our food, a long while for someone to clear, and nobody even came to ask whether we wanted coffee or dessert. That said, the food was very good and it was served beautifully. The outdoor seating is nice, though there are some planes taking off occasionally. The prices I listed here are per person for water, a salad - split between us, one plate of gnocchi and one fish course. We also split a cheesecake cup for dessert.

06/07/2025: All very positive but one aspect of the service is UNACCEPTABLE!! There can't be a high-level restaurant that doesn't give the "paying" customer the possibility of having sealed bottled water. We leave water purifiers to fourth-rate trattorias

10/08/2025: A hidden gem next to the Trevi Fountain: Quirino Restaurant Sometimes, Rome gives you moments that seem like they're written in a movie script. We arrived today from Barcelona, where I live, because I wanted my aunt Myriam, recently arrived from Colombia, to experience this beautiful and spectacular city. My aunt Miriam and I were walking, enjoying the eternal charm of the Trevi Fountain, when, a few meters away, we ran into Emma. With a bright smile and a friendliness that invites you to follow her, she led us to her family's restaurant: Quirino. Founded in 1959 by her grandfather—who arrived from Sicily with his brother, carrying recipes and dreams—this place exudes tradition. It's not just a restaurant; it's a living piece of Roman and Sicilian history. Within its walls, fresh pasta is not a fad, but a legacy passed down from generation to generation. The restaurant's decor itself is part of the experience: every corner tells a story, showing how Quirino has adapted to each era and every life without losing his essence. It's like walking into a memory album where the walls hold the memories of all these years. We ate a delicious Carbonara with its spectacular guanchale and freshly made pasta, and some finger-licking taglietelle al ragu. They also gave us a piece of freshly baked apple pie, which Emma says is her mother's recipe that they are trying to replicate with one of the chefs! It must be said that it was delicious! It was then that we met Elisabetta, Emma's mother, who shared a story that left us speechless: her mother—Emma's grandmother—made a cannoli so extraordinary that Pope John Paul II was captivated by its flavor, making it his birthday cake year after year. And the surprise didn't end there. Chatting with Elisabetta, we discovered we had many things in common: her daughter is studying dentistry in Madrid, but her passion is the restaurant; my husband is a dentist, and so is his. So many coincidences made us feel at home, as if we had known each other all our lives. Our experience was simply fantastic: the warm service, the welcoming atmosphere, the aromas that enveloped the room, and, of course, the flavors… Each dish felt like a hug. We left feeling like we had experienced something unique. Quirino is not just a restaurant: it's a journey back in time, a bridge between Sicily and Rome, a place where stories are told through food… and even the walls have something to say. If you are lucky enough to be in the Eternal City, don't pass up the opportunity to experience it. We wholeheartedly recommend it. Tatty and Myriam.

06/08/2025: Carbonara is so-so...old-school atmosphere, but professional and knowledgeable waiters. Prices are reasonable for being right next to the Trevi Fountain.
