10/06/2025: We ate at this amazing place with a beautiful view a few days ago. I was born and raised in the area but have lived outside for 17 years now. I took my partner to get to know my area and for the first time I came across this place. The food is great and the service is excellent

03/06/2025: A truly suggestive location, with a truly beautiful view, the first courses are amazing, especially the pappardelle with wild boar sauce in Barolo (amazing) and the spectacular Tomahawk meat, the price is right for what you eat and how you eat it, absolutely worth trying.

10/04/2025: Davvero un ristorante piacevole. Menù ricco di proposte, gentilezza, ordine e pulizia. I tavoli hanno il giusto distanziamento e per i vegetariani il locale è veramente una grandissima risorsa. I piatti sono tutti molto buoni, divertenti e gustosi, ed i dolci sono da non perdere. Grazie davvero, torneremo!

31/05/2025: Mis amigos y yo nos topamos con este lugar después de una excursión de un día fuera de Roma. Es un gran lugar. El personal era muy acogedor y nos hizo sentir muy especial. Tiene un menú interesante con un montón de mariscos y los precios eran razonables. Disfrutamos mucho de nuestras comidas. También nos gustó el ambiente limpio moderno. Sin duda volveré cuando sea el próximo en Roma.

05/06/2025: Il posto è meraviglioso: un pergolato immerso nel verde e serenità dell' Appia Antica. Il tutto è molto informale, semplice, ma genuino. Ed è proprio questa autenticità che traspare, dai piatti al servizio. Il personale è gentilissimo, coccola il cliente con sincerità, con attenzioni che fanno stare bene. Il cibo è buono, le materie prime sono di qualità. Sì va via con il sorriso e con la pancia soddisfatta.

29/05/2025: A beautiful setting on Via Appia Antica in front of the tomb of Cecilia Metella, a place in the style of an old Roman tavern that I always appreciate! Traditional dishes cooked well.

16/04/2025: We chose it based on TripAdvisor reviews and it was an excellent experience. Small place inside but very nice, nice and clean. The dishes come from both sea and land and are truly exquisite with an excellent balance of flavours. Worth noting are the truly excellent first courses. Excellent service and it feels like staying at a friends house. Price €25/30 per person without wine

02/06/2025: My experience at Il Sanlorenzo in Rome was not just disappointing - it was appalling. I was blatantly overcharged, with several duplicate charges for dishes. I emailed the restaurant twice over four days with no response. When they finally replied, they acknowledged the mistake and agreed to issue a refund, asking for my card details. I promptly complied—but after that? Silence. I followed up a week later. Nothing. It’s now been two weeks since my last message, and I have received no refund, no update, and no explanation. This type of evasive behavior is unacceptable from any restaurant, let alone one that claims to offer a fine dining experience. What’s even more troubling is how this entire situation has felt—dismissive and indifferent in a way that’s hard to separate from the casual racism often shown toward Asian tourists. In today’s world, this kind of treatment isn’t just unprofessional - it’s pathetic. I’ve since escalated the matter to both the Italian consumer protection board and my bank, but it’s a shame that a restaurant like Il Sanlorenzo would allow such dishonesty and disregard to define their service. In a city saturated with other good restaurants, this one deserves a pass...

04/06/2025: Excellent and quality food! The meat is excellent and well cooked! Also the seasonal vegetables are good and the desserts are special! We came from Rome here and also the prices are fair compared to the crazy prices in Rome!!

21/05/2025: I had a really delicious pizza at Ristorante Pizzeria Mino. The pizza was baked fresh from the oven and had a crispy exterior and chewy interior, with a perfect harmony of ingredients. The texture and flavor of the dough was particularly impressive, and the balance of tomato sauce and cheese was perfect. And most of all, the dining experience was much more enjoyable thanks to our server Abid. He was kind and attentive, so I was able to finish my meal in a good mood. I was grateful that he kept smiling and caring even when he was busy. This is a place I would like to visit again when I miss pizza. I recommend it!

03/06/2025: Business lunch with a colleague. Restaurant half empty, we waited 75 minutes for a carbonara and a tagliolini with truffle. It speaks for itself. No justification from the waiting staff or even at the cashier.

03/06/2025: Posto sicuramente bello, personale simpatico e qualificato, atmosfera tranquilla, ma per la nostra esperienza direi che dopo averci consigliato questo ristorante per la carne, siamo rimasti un pò delusi, siamo abituati a ristoranti di alto livello per la qualità, ma ci aspettavamo un po' di più da questo posto, dove ho visto recensioni ottime, carbonara buona ma troppo saporita, antipasti buoni, insomma per le aspettative un po' deludente.
