09/02/2026: Authentic Italian home-style cooking – a first step into understanding Italy. The appetizer was pasta, with its springy texture and fragrant red sauce. There were no excessive toppings or garnishes; simplicity allowed the natural flavors of the ingredients to shine through. The main course was pan-fried pork chops with olive oil and lettuce salad. The pork chops were crispy and flavorful with each chew, though they might be a bit tough for those with sensitive teeth. The lettuce was sprinkled with salt and drizzled with olive oil, making it refreshing and delicious. Don't waste the remaining oil; Tuscan olive oil is a gift from the earth, perfect for pairing with European bread for a smooth and delicious experience. Dessert was tiramisu, with a hint of liqueur but a bit sweet, so I only sampled a small amount.

03/10/2025: Although the restaurant is very small, or perhaps because of it, the atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. The staff is warm and helpful. The food is good and the service is fast. Definitely recommended in the area.

25/08/2025: I found this restaurant near where I’m staying and honestly didn’t expect much at first—but wow, the food was absolutely delicious! If you want to try authentic local Italian dishes, I highly recommend coming here. I had the spaghetti and the “devil octopus,” and both were sooo good. On top of that, the staff were incredibly kind and made sure I had a great time with amazing food. They even gave me a gift, which was such a thoughtful touch. Definitely coming back again!

12/02/2026: In Anguillara, this hotel offers good value for money, both for its hotel services and its restaurant cuisine. I travel here often for work and have always enjoyed my stay. The rooms are clean and spacious, with excellent air conditioning in the summer and excellent heating in the winter. The common areas are clean, and the breakfast is generous. Friendly staff and ample parking complete the package. Close to the Anguillara train station (two minutes) and the village of Anguillara Sabazia (a few kilometers), this hotel is ideal for those who want to visit the various villages just outside Rome, as well as Rome itself.

13/02/2026: Excellent artichoke experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Delicious dinner at Valerio in Grottaferrata. I tried the appetizer with artichokes, arugula, and parmesan (very fresh) and the first course with artichokes, guanciale, and pecorino cheese, which was truly flavorful and well-executed. Quality ingredients and friendly service. Recommended if you're in the area.

18/03/2026: A very large, spacious, and bright restaurant, reminiscent of a formal setting. The cuisine alternates local dishes with more unique offerings across all courses, with a special focus on grilled meats, the restaurant's true cornerstone. The wild boar croquette as an appetizer is truly excellent, but the goose salami is a bit less so, as it's a bit bitter and its flavor is barely noticeable with the spinach. The pumpkin risotto is excellent, and the chocolate and pistachio tartlet is truly sublime. The wine list is extensive. The service is prompt, and the prices are in line with the quality. Recommended for meat lovers, but not only.

12/02/2026: We recently returned from dining at this wonderful restaurant! 5 stars, from the welcome to the food to the treatment provided throughout the dinner by the kind and professional Chiara! As a couple, we chose the 4-course tasting menu with wine pairings, and I must say it was a perfect choice! The quality of the food, the pairings, and the explosion of flavors on the palate made each bite truly emotional. The wine pairings also provided a unique experience, offering different flavors and always perfectly paired with each dish. The restaurant is beautiful, bright (just right), private, welcoming, and quiet, perfect for a couple's dinner and a bit of relaxation. Compliments to chef Mirko Di Mattia and again to all the kitchen and dining room staff. I hope to return soon and I truly wish you all the best. 01/04/2026: Mediocre tourist trap. My server didn't seem to have a pulse because this young man did not smile once from the time he first came to my table till I paid the check. The wait staff kept having to open a door to the dining area from the outside, letting cold air each time making it less than comfortable. My pasta with pistachio pesto, well, I couldn't find any pesto 🤔 Tiramisu was a bland old tiramisu that you could have at any other establishment. To round out this "dining" experience, a family of American tourists with three children were loud as all hell, one child speaking about some dumb video game.

29/03/2026: Very good food, prices slightly high but in line with other trattorias in the city. The only complaint was that the pappardelle portions were smaller than we expected from the photos. The quality, however, was very high.

The management of the place is excellent: you can tell they're passionate about what they do. The two brothers who run it are something extra: friendly, attentive, and capable of creating a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The food is divine, and it's the welcome that makes you want to come back. Well done, keep it up!
