28/05/2025: Affordable, tasty gelato with three flavors for every option. The staff were so nice and explained everything without being asked; they were very helpful. Highly recommended.

10/05/2025: 5 days in Rome and 5 breakfasts at Cappuccino Bar. After the first visit we knew that we would not eat pastrami anywhere else! Heavenly taste, excellent coffee with delightful maritozzo, and wonderful, smiling, very Italian service:) Dear friends, thank you for these experiences. We will come back:)

09/05/2025: Surprisingly the best espresso I had in Rome. Well balanced and a bit sourish (which is good) instead of being harsh. And the sandwiches were a huge suprise. Super tasty, crunchy and made to order. The owner was super nicez friendly, and welcoming. Classic Italian bar vibe but with way better products than elsewhere. We are vegetarian but we heard that pastrami they have is fabulous. Looked like it.

10/05/2025: It was one of the best steakhouses I have ever been. Steak was soft and really delicious, we asked for medium cooked, and bought 1-1.25kg of steak for 2 people. Staff was really good, especially Dominico sorry if I spelled his name wrong, and especially allowing us which knife we would like to use was a great idea. Really enjoyed it

09/05/2025: I can't say that any, one thing was perfect, because it was all perfect. T bone, corn on the cob, mashed and roasted potatoes. Do yourself a favor and order the onion rings as an appetizer, they were amazing

31/05/2025: Pleasant, quiet and welcoming place. The owners were excellent hosts welcoming us with warmth and courtesy. We had dinner and chose to eat meat, following the advice of the meat expert who fully satisfied us. High quality and perfect cooking. Excellent value for money. A place suitable for everyone, families with children, couples etc. We will definitely return and recommend everyone to go and visit them, it is worth it and you will not regret it.

25/05/2025: Found by chance, but a pleasant discovery, in the green countryside of Grottaferrata with parking and a park for children, courteous and fast service, excellent appetizers, the mixed one and the cutting board accompanied by battered vegetables, good first courses, we didn't get to the second courses, it would have been too much but we ended on a sweet note with donuts and various homemade tozzetti. To be tried again for the excellent meat that I saw passing to the other tables.

05/05/2025: a pleasant discovery, "recommended" by an excellent score from The Fork. Refined menu, genuine raw materials, impeccable service with very useful explanations of the various dishes. All good, but special mention for the roasted octopus on a bed of escarole and provola, cheese and pepper linguine with croaker and lemon. The fried prawns and calamari are also excellent The choice of coffees is very pleasant, very good too

03/05/2025: Altavela is one of those discoveries that surprise for the balance between quality, service and atmosphere. The staff is extremely courteous, present but never intrusive: a dry, attentive, simply perfect service. Each dish is introduced to the table with a timely and detailed presentation, which enhances the work in the kitchen. The house specialties are, as is natural in Fiumicino, seafood dishes - prepared with technique, taste and creativity. The wine list is well stocked: I chose a truly excellent Greco di Tufo, perfect to accompany the courses. Even the desserts were up to the standard of the rest of the meal, with particular care in both preparation and presentation. The price? More than honest, especially in relation to the overall quality. In my opinion, Altavela deserves a Michelin star.

12/05/2025: We were on a trip to Rome with the class and stopped here, already knowing the place in Florence and Scandicci. The flavors are the same and the quality is always excellent. Also very kind in the service offered to the kids.

13/05/2025: Fun location for outdoor dining. Reminds me of Paris marches. Food was good but a tad oily. Staff lovely. Good location in garbatella.

13/05/2025: We have been going to this restaurant for 4 years now, and over time it has become our favorite restaurant. A lifelong meat lover, I can honestly say that I have rarely found places that live up to my expectations... but here it's a whole different story. The quality of the raw materials and the attention to detail make every visit a pleasure. If I lived in Centocelle, I think I would have to get a subscription to them! Friendly, cordial, always available and with a genuine passion for what they do. Every time it's like coming home... Ps: give us back the cheesecake 😂

09/05/2025: This restaurant is amazing, perfect for meat lovers! The staff is super friendly and fast. The meat sushi and the meatballs are the bomb, even the tastings of really good and tasty tartare. A unique place for this type of cuisine. Absolutely worth trying if you are a lover

20/05/2025: I went there for lunch on the advice of a friend. It was a very pleasant surprise! The staff was very kind and the food was good. I ate an exquisite gourmet hamburger with grouper fillet, accompanied by chips and homemade mayonnaise that amazed me.

11/05/2025: I returned to Vincenzo Pellegrino's Sfizio del Lago and, once again, I confirm how special this place is. Vincenzo is a true host: welcoming, attentive, generous. He manages to make every customer feel like a long-time friend, even if they are meeting them for the first time. You can perceive how much he cares about the well-being of those who sit at his tables, taking care of every detail of the service and cuisine. Its staff also deserves high praise: professional, smiling, present without ever being intrusive. It is clear that Vincenzo also has the right eye when choosing his collaborators, who share his spirit and his passion for hospitality. And the food? Of excellent quality. Well-finished dishes, very fresh raw materials, balanced and authentic flavours. Each course is carefully prepared and you can feel the passion in the kitchen, from the first to the last bite. Last night I arrived quite late, around 10pm, but despite the time, I received an impeccable welcome and service. It is rare to find such attention, care and human warmth. Congratulations to everyone and thank you very much!
