13/08/2025: The ice cream is delicious. We tried several flavors, each one better than the last. They have a great variety. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff.

22/08/2025: Terrace with a beautiful view of the lake at sunset. Excellent food, with prices absolutely in line with the quality of the ingredients and the quantity served. The appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts were all delicious! The staff were very kind and polite. If I had to find a flaw: it would have been nice to have a small table to put a bottle of wine on; the table for two was a bit small with plates, bread, wine, and various other dishes. I will definitely be back to try other dishes, and I highly recommend it!

19/08/2025: A truly charming and intimate venue with a lake view (for some tables). The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. The food was excellent and top-notch; we ate really well! Pet friedly :) Service was a little slow; the tables were full, perhaps because of that. A small tip: for wine by the glass, it would be nice to pour the wine at the table with the bottle and not pour it directly into the glass ;) especially since it seems like a very refined place. Overall, excellent!

17/08/2025: When you pass through Cassino, stop by and eat at Dar Patata. He may seem a little gruff, but once he gets to know you a little, he'll give you his Roman heart and make you eat delicious Roman food. We'll be back.

03/08/2025: Waiter yelled at me asking me if I could read when I walked in as when he didn't acknowledge me I went to sit down. The signs by the door are A4 and written in so many lanuages I didn't even notice. He declined my drink order as drinking a cocktail with a pasta is illegal. Then took forever to pay as he was chatting with other guests. Literally groups at the register in view waiting to pay. Charged for tap water and for his terrible service. I bring tour groups to Rome and will be actively telling them to avoid this place.

02/08/2025: I can recommend this restaurant. The menu was only in Italian, and the people around us were mostly Italian, which means it's not a typical tourist spot. The prices were quite average for an Italian restaurant in Rome. The waiter/owner was very nice, funny and chatty :)

25/07/2025: Very good bakery with plenty of choice. I had the chocolate croissant for 1.80€, which was super delicious. The staff was also very friendly. Definitely worth a stop if you're nearby.

25/07/2025: The chocolate chip cannolis were great! Also had some type of streusel pasty that was yummy although that’s not what they called it! We came here from Hotel Indigo, a short walk away. Super impressed!

11/08/2025: Great service, food, and excellent hospitality. We had children in our group and they were first to offer WiFi with password when the children were getting a little antsy. They also offered to lower the AC when they noticed one of our guests getting cold. Little things like this shows their attentiveness to their guests. Additionally, the food was excellent and the price was reasonable for it's quality and service. Will recommend and will be returning for sure. Thank you!

02/09/2025: Amazing! The place has 4 tables, but my wife and I had such a great time. The pasta was cooked in front of us, only 2 types, but wonderful. The wine was delicious, the music was perfectly selected. 2 hours flew by.

Every course was meticulously prepared, from the fish to the pasta dishes to the desserts. The restaurant is intimate and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing, quality dinner. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to savor authentic Salento cuisine in Rome!

07/09/2025: We stopped in when first got to Rome as we wanted lunch and had read this was a bit of a hidden gem before you actually get to the main streets. The arancini was probably the best I've had in my life so far and the pizza slices were so so good. But! The potato pizza is absolutely incredible, the potatoes tasted like slow baked wood fire jackets and the cheese and little hints of rosemary were just incredible. I've had others and I'm sure I'll have more but this by far has to be one of the best potato pizzas in Italy.
