08/12/2025: The place is very small, charming, and well-kept, giving it a very homey feel: we sat on the veranda, and it was very comfortable, enclosed, without any drafts. To start, we had an appetizer for two, which included meatballs and parmigiana, as well as other items. They were all delicious, not the usual appetizer of cured meats and cheeses, but delicious and filling. The highlights were definitely the first courses: both the trofie with chickpeas, walnuts, dried tomatoes, and saffron, and the buffalo mozzarella-filled ravioli with ragù were excellent. We would have liked to try the second courses as well, but we were already very full and only had room for dessert: an apple tart and an orange and caramel tiramisu. The latter surprised me, not too sweet and fresh. To finish, they offered complimentary wine-flavored biscuits. The two young men serving were very kind. The final price was €62, absolutely more than fair for what we ate and the portions. We will definitely be back.

01/12/2025: While strolling through Rome's historic center, we stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance, and what a surprise! The setting was superb, and the service worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant! The menu was varied without being overwhelming, and the dishes served were top-notch! The prices were a bit high, but not excessive, and more than justified by the quality of the food and service! We even had a quick chat with the owner at the end of our meal to make sure everything was alright! This isn't a place for a quick bite, but rather a truly wonderful culinary experience! By far our favorite restaurant during our stay in Rome!

30/11/2025: Must visit. Amidst the polyphonic Rome we found a haven of superb cuisine with a wonderful atmosphere and incredible service. We've been coming here every time we're in Rome for over ten years. The quality of this restaurant, both in the wonderful dishes and the service, never disappoints. Absolutely delicious. A wonderful place for dinner.

29/11/2025: Dinner at the Contempo restaurant, located at the Hotel Donna Camilla Savelli, was a rich and exciting experience. Excellent cuisine, a refined atmosphere, attention to detail, and the utmost customer service. Detailed communication with the management allowed me to optimally organize the dinner for my guests, but the real highlight was undoubtedly the staff's human touch, which pampered us and conveyed their love for an enchanting place, rich in history and charm. I would have no hesitation in returning with another group of guests! Braviiii

14/12/2025: An evening with friends. A quiet place, perfect for a chat with other diners. The price was right for the evening we had. The game was on the screen, but it didn't overwhelm the atmosphere.

28/11/2025: As a foreign resident of Trastevere for the last 6 years, I have to say that this is one of the first local businesses that treated me like I'd been a local for a decade. Any pork product I need, I grab here! Hand-cut prosciutto, the most marvelous guanciale and pancetta, aged sweet salami, chops, even ham hocks for my midwestern pork and beans cravings, they've got me covered! Oh --- and not to mention the most luxurious Mozzarella di bufala north of Campagna. Olive Garden's "When you're here, you're family" ain't got nothin' on this place!

20/11/2025: In one word: unmissable! If you’re looking for an amazing deli, this is the place. And yes—I’ve tried a few others, but this one is unbeatable! Fantastic food with a wide selection, and they also make custom sandwiches that are absolutely amazing. Make sure to say hi to Federico, the manager—he’s incredibly kind and friendly.

30/11/2025: An excellent experience from start to finish. Returning to Borgo del Cacchione is always a rewarding experience, but this time—there were seven of us—it was even more surprising. The welcome was warm and professional, accompanied by a simple but delicious plate of potatoes and pecorino cheese, perfect for the start. We began the dinner with their mixed raw fish, which was truly extraordinary: impeccable freshness, clean flavors, and balanced pairings. A dish worth the visit alone. For main courses, we chose tagliata and amatriciana: tender meat, cooked to perfection, generous and well-prepared side dishes, and a rich, flavorful, flawless pasta. All accompanied by two carefully selected glasses of wine and a water service that was always present but never intrusive. The service, as always, was impeccable: attentive, quick, kind, with that professionalism that makes you feel cared for without being disturbed. The location remains one of its strong points: immersed in the greenery of the Castelli Romani, well-kept, quiet, ideal for both groups and couples. Full rating: 5 out of 5. Excellent cuisine, a wonderful atmosphere, and exceptional service. One of the best dining experiences in the area. We'll definitely be back.

10/11/2025: We often have coffee with our tennis friends at the Salaria Coffee Bar, where we're always greeted warmly. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and we'd like to give a special shout-out to Valentina, who makes excellent frothy coffee!

Recommended by friends who were a bit skeptical about the specific area of ​​Fiumicino (the sacred island), far from the famous seafront, we were greeted with courtesy and warmth by Luca, a great expert in wines and oils (as well as food, of course). He assisted us and gave us excellent advice on everything, immediately bringing us a taste of their delicious homemade breads as an entrée, to be savored with aromatic extra virgin olive oils (the mandarin one is delicious!) and top-quality water. The Nevaia Tenuta Zagaria Apulia Fiano wine was fabulous. The appetizers were simple but incredibly tasty and exceptionally fresh (burratina with shrimp tartare and beuschettine with anchovies—a must-try!!). The crudités were very fresh and well-prepared (tartare with gazpacho—yum, yum!), even if a bit pricey. All the first courses are delicious (don't miss the sea bream, asparagus, and truffle risotto!) and the second courses aren't terribly varied, but they all guarantee quality and/or freshness. 🔝 The Dolce Cremoso .mcn meringue and dark chocolate are amazing!! Highly recommended Well done 👏👏👏

It's a clean, bright, family-run restaurant, managed brilliantly by Luca, whom I later discovered I already knew. High-quality ingredients, beautifully cooked. 14/12/2025: I was so thrilled we found this place when we were in Rome for 10 days in October. We walked there every day so I could get the most delicious cannoli I have ever had. I was eating one daily! The ladies working there are so warm and friendly, it doubled the pleasure going there. I can't wait to go back!
