06/09/2025: Went last night with friends. First time so a little skeptical. However, the pizza was delicious and the pasta alla Norma was amazing, not to mention the sublime tiramisu to finish. Very welcoming and the staff were friendly and helpful. I'll be back!

06/09/2025: Super good!!! The prices are super affordable and the staff is lovely! At the end of our meal, we were treated to a few slices of pie, which were brought to us in French, "a little treat," haha. We came back for takeout pizza, and it was a treat. Thank you again! Grazie mille!

12/08/2025: A restaurant where you feel right at home, with incredibly friendly staff and fast service! The arrosticini (meat from Abruzzo) melt in your mouth, not to mention the pizza... I've never had better pizza! The desserts... including the tiramisu... it's heavenly! 😍 Top top top quality!

07/09/2025: This is a bit of a hidden gem amongst the touristy restaurants in the area. This is a local secret where a lot of the people coming in were locals. There was no lines and no tourists. Pick your pizza and the owner will heat it up for you- this is priced according to weight and ends up being really affordable. And the pizza is delicious. The crust is crunchy and thin and the topping was fresh and tasty- the epitome of Roman pizza.

Generous dishes and home cooking and the price is very good, you need to book a little in advance because the restaurant is very small, we will definitely return, parking is easy to find, a nice walk in the village of Capranica to finish in style

26/08/2025: My partner and I were here in mid-July, having stumbled upon it somewhat by chance on Google Maps and reading some guides. First of all, we never expected such a cute and well-kept place; it almost seemed like a fairytale with all the fairy lights around the tables. Plus, the quality of the food is top-notch: we've never had a side salad that tasted so good, even without any dressing! Finally, a huge thank you to the guy who looked after us during dinner. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name, but he told us the story behind all the dishes and truly made us feel at home. Thank you so much!

02/08/2025: A charming place. The entire staff was attentive to my needs, preparing a gluten-free dinner, which, besides being delicious, allowed me to eat the same menu as the other guests. Fried foods, gnocchi, and special cheesecake.

25/08/2025: Centrally located, behind Piazza del Popolo, this restaurant has an elegant and refined atmosphere and attentive and friendly service (the waiter was truly skilled at his job). We tried the very good tasting menu; the dishes were beautifully presented, and despite the portions appearing small, we struggled to finish them all. The only downside to this is that we weren't given a full five stars because, upon payment, we were asked if we wanted to leave a tip, which made us feel uncomfortable... A real lapse in style.

25/08/2025: I happened upon this restaurant—very cute inside—on a Saturday for lunch. Saturday and Sunday lunch is buffet style, an option I'm not particularly fond of. The food was good (except for the rice-stuffed tomato, which was dry and tough) but wasn't kept warm enough. There was a good variety of dishes. The wait staff didn't intervene too much, since it was a buffet, but from what I could see, a little more enthusiasm wouldn't hurt. If I'd been able to order from the menu, perhaps I would have had a different opinion, but my experience was average. However, I truly wish this restaurant success for its "courageous" choice to offer only vegetarian and vegan dishes!

I've been coming to this restaurant for 3-4 years now, and every time I return, it's always a pleasure!

18/08/2025: First time at Taverna, and the experience deserves 5 shining stars in every way. Guglielmo, the dining room captain, guides the diners' palates admirably. There's no overpowering flavor, and delicacy reigns supreme in every course. The professional yet friendly service brightens the table. A special mention goes to the salmon ravioli in a red coat with caviar and shrimp, rated 10 on the plate! Taverna di Vico truly deserves a place among life's true pleasures.
