09/10/2025: Overrated, the quality of the pasta was good, but the pork in the carbonara tasted burnt... the cheese had a very strong taste... And the lady serving didn't speak English and had a bad face... she didn't ask if I wanted a drink, I had to get a cold water that was at hand when I hate cold water... you have to shout for them to come out and serve you...

09/10/2025: A simple concept executed perfectly: fresh pasta made with an appropriate sauce and a good selection of sides. My pappardelle was well prepared, chewy and coated with a rich pork and tomato sauce. A side of shredded and dressed white cabbage was a crunchy accompaniment. Also some fresh from the oven crusty bread was perfect for collecting the last of the sauce. Very reasonable prices, lovely staff who have the patience of the saints in dealing with confused tourists from all over the world. Recommended.

19/10/2025: A Sunday to forget!! A terrible experience for my wife and I. When we arrived at the restaurant, we immediately began eating the appetizer, which was paltry compared to the usual fare. Once we finished the appetizer, the endless wait for the first courses began. After more than an hour of waiting, we asked the staff for information, but received no concrete answers. The most absurd situation occurred when tables who arrived after us even arrived for dessert. Instead, we were still waiting for our first courses. The nightmare ended when we decided to leave. We paid for the two paltry appetizers (30 euros) and left.

19/11/2025: Honestly, I found everything very good; the bread and meat were delicious, and they offer unique seasonal pairings. You can choose the menu option with a drink, sandwich, and chips, paying a few euros more if you want beer. The service was fast and friendly, and the ambiance inside was very beautiful and slightly vintage.

03/09/2025: I don't know what to say. A beautiful day at the spa, but to continue relaxing, we decided not to leave given the restaurant's excellent reviews. The bread in the basket was obviously old. Amatriciana, or pasta with sauce containing soft, not at all crispy pork cheek, and no pecorino cheese, or if it was present, it was imperceptible. Tagliolini with asparagus, pork cheek, and tomatoes was a bland pasta dish, with ingredients that didn't quite mesh together. To finish off beautifully, the beef tagliata, €28, or six strips of meat, floating in a pungent red sauce, surrounded by six white beans and bland potatoes. An excellent dinner if we had opted for a cafeteria, but not for a four-star hotel, and not at that price. We ate purely out of hunger, not pleasure. However, as I told the waiter, the Fiuggi water was really good.

21/09/2025: A fairytale setting that couldn't have better captured the atmosphere of our wedding. Our guests were impressed by the villa, the abundant and delicious dishes, and the helpfulness of the staff. We, the newlyweds, also felt pampered every moment of the day, and even a couple of small inconveniences were resolved admirably, leaving us completely satisfied with our experience. Highly recommended!

15/12/2025: This place is so romantic. Samiy made our last night in Rome feel exclusive and romantic. (I hope I spelled his name correctly). Excellent food, excellent service. I would send friends a family here, no doubt. Eating here is a must if you’re in the area. The cab ride here would be worth it too.

01/12/2025: I haven't left a review for a restaurant in a decade. But I feel compelled to do so for this place. Sunday, reservation for the second sitting at 2:15 PM. We had organized a nearby excursion with the kids. The excursion took longer than expected. We arrived at the restaurant at practically 3 PM. We expected to be kicked out or treated with appropriate haste due to our lateness. Instead, we received only smiles, kindness, and attention to our children. We enjoyed lunch in complete relaxation, a perfect moment on a beautiful day around Calcata. When you know how to welcome and make guests feel at ease... everything else is almost superfluous. That said, the atmosphere is simple and welcoming, and the food is delicious. The suckling pig was excellent, the tonnarelli with porcini mushrooms and the wild boar ragù even better. And the baked potatoes were amazing (they seem simple, but they're often pitiful). Congratulations and thank you for doing this hard work (we know a thing or two about it!) with great empathy and professionalism. ❤️
