Nice local restaurant in Testaccio with an interesting take on roman classics- service was too slow but the staff were friendly - they only have gnocchi so no other pasta types but they were good- tiramisu was delicious

A great local spot, the food is delicious, the dining atmosphere is super pleasant, and the service and staff are even better. Without a doubt, the next time I'm in Rome, we'll come back to this place.

The food at MASTO is delicious - the pear and chocolate chest is a must! Great atmosphere and nice service from everyone, especially Momo who was very helpful (thank you for the various food tastings)!

10/07/2026: The young guy at the front was so kind and nice. I asked for a sampler plate and I took home 3 of his best meats and cheeses. Also got the porcetta. It's meat and bread but the meat was so tender and no gaminess at all. Being American, it probably could be better for American taste with some kind of sauce or cheese but for meat and bread, it was fantastic. Wonderful experience and great food.
09/07/2026: 100% recommend this place. Not only are the people wonderful, but I've never tasted anything as delicious as their porchetta panino. If you don't go, you're missing out on the best of Rome 🤤🤤🤤

11/08/2026: It’s tucked away on a side street in Rome, and they do have an area inside with air conditioning. We ate here after a long travel day, and were just looking for an easy dinner with comfort food. We didn’t try any of their “fancier” dishes. But what we had was delicious. And the service was fantastic.
11/08/2026: I got the octopus and vegetables and it was soo good! Service was great too! :)
