29/07/2024: Serata con sorella e nipoti e cenetta a Porpetto. Mi spiace che non sono riuscita a fare le foto di tutti i piatti, la fame ha avuto il sopravvento! Comunque abbiamo preso: foglia di frico con polenta e lardo, costata di manzo, spaghetti al ragù di salsiccia, tagliolini ai mirtilli con ragù di cinghiale, trippe, gelato, formatino al cacao.

04/09/2024: Absolut unfreundliches Personal! Der Fisch wurde hektisch filetiert und samt Beilagen , man könnte fast sagen, auf die Teller geworfen. Nie wieder! Am Ende wurde Grappa über mich geschüttet. Eine knappe unfreundliche Entschuldigung. Kein Tuch, kein Nichts angeboten.

26/07/2024: Grilled ribeye and chicken special! We often frequent this restaurant both in summer and winter. During the summer there are many outdoor tables, overlooking the Stella river. You order and pay at the cash register, collect your drinks and wait for the number assigned for your food. In winter, inside, the menu is very vast and in fact they also offer pizza. The only flaw is the three euro cover charge, which is excessive.

26/07/2024: Locale arredato con gusto e servizio cortese e spigliato. Pizza davvero ottima con proposte nel menù che non si trovano dappertutto. Prezzi leggermente elevati ma che vista la qualità ci stanno senza problemi. Io ci sono stato il martedì sera e non ho avuto particolari problemi a trovare posto, nel weekend direi che però la prenotazione è obbligatoria.

15/08/2024: We (couple, 30 & 33 years old) were looking for an authentic Italian restaurant that was not primarily designed for tourism. The Pignate restaurant is just such a hidden highlight! Eat: The food, from starter to main course and dessert, was excellent overall, both in taste and quality. The seafood appetizer platter is very large, so you can share it. In addition to scallops, clams and prawns, there was typical Cozze in an incredibly tasty marinade and squid salad. The hostess recommended fish for the main course. This was fresh, very well prepared and beautifully presented. We were also given excellent advice when it came to dessert. “Meringata” didn’t mean anything to us, but it turned out to be the perfect ending in the form of an ice cream cake with meringue and nuts. It's worth a visit for the food alone and we'll definitely come back whenever we're in the area! Ambiance: The restaurant was decorated in a typically Italian style by Nonna - who has been entertaining guests at Pignate for over 50 years. It's cozy and you have a thousand things to look at: from pictures to a free-standing grill to slippers on the wall. The restaurant simply has history and it is incredibly nice to immerse yourself in it. Service: Excellent and absolutely deserves its five stars. The nonna of the house looked after us first-class, shared her recommendations with us and also a few words of wisdom on how to eat our fish in the original Italian way (luckily!). The Pignate is an insider tip for us. It is also a real oasis of peace and good food in Bibione & Lignano, which is inundated with tourists! Thank you for the wonderful evening, we would love to come back. P.s. Dogs are also welcome here! Another plus point from our side!

17/08/2024: Visited 2 times, excellent Bruschettas and Sandwiches, friendly and polite staff, very nice location! Plus we were offered liquor both times. Absolutely adequate prices. Yet another visit, all the positive aspects confirmed, I add a wonderful sense of hospitality from the owners and professionalism from the staff. Highly recommended.

30/06/2024: Durante un viaggio di lavoro con le mie colleghe ho deciso di cenare al ristorante Allegria di Udine, che si trova nel cuore della città. Tutti i piatti scelti erano delicati e gustosi e tutto il personale è stato gentile, simpatico e dinamico!
