01/02/2026: The owner only serves clients who order more expensive seafood dishes. If you stop by for pizza, you are treated more like a bum. We wanted pizza, then we were told that they were not baking that day. Okay, we understood and ordered another. The grilled calamari was cold. The waiter had a cold attitude. When we paid, we noticed that the pizzas were baked, because the pizza chef was preparing them in front of us. It was clear that the waiter was uncomfortable when he noticed that we saw this. In short, the pizza parlor is not worth visiting. Every guest deserves the same treatment

19/12/2025: We had lunch here because all the other pizzerias were closed. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the pizza was quite good. Those who ordered pizza, despite paying €2.50 per person for the cover charge, didn't even get a piece of bread or a packet of breadsticks to munch on while they waited. Unfortunately, at a certain point, a strong sewer smell filled the area where we were having lunch. Luckily, we were already at the cafe and left immediately.

11/12/2025: My in-laws' wedding anniversary dinner. They reserved a beautiful room just for our family (about ten people). The room and table were beautifully decorated for the occasion. The dinner was very sumptuous, with a selection of seven very appetizing and haute cuisine finger food appetizers, followed by two first courses, a sorbet, a second course, and a side dish. To finish, a gourmet single-portion dessert (white chocolate Bavarian cream with hazelnut cream, mango mousse, and passion fruit). Everything was delicious and not at all heavy. Excellent service at the counter and at the table.

18/01/2026: Sunday trip to the Ariis Aquarium. We were in the area and was looking for a place for lunch. After reading the reviews, I discovered this little place that piqued my interest. We booked, and it was an excellent choice. It's a beautiful, large place, with excellent, very fast service and delicious food. Great prices, a great find.

03/01/2026: Good variety of dishes, both meat and fish. Friendly and helpful service. Portions are adequate but not generous, and the prices are average and not cheap. Clean bathrooms and ample parking. Some misunderstandings with orders; it's best to clarify when choosing your dishes.

21/02/2026: The hotel has a beautiful view of the mountains. The owner is very hospitable and kind. Breakfast had a wide selection, and the cold meats and cheeses were of very good quality, made from local produce. The hotel and rooms are very clean, with daily housekeeping. There is ample parking for guests directly below the hotel. We highly recommend it!

21/02/2026: A hotel with an incredible Alpine vibe. The Italian owner is very friendly and helpful, and makes excellent coffee. The views from the hotel and town perfectly capture the beauty of the Dolomites. The rooms were cleaned daily, and cleanliness was meticulously maintained. The hotel isn't a typical commercial hotel with a swimming pool, etc., but rather a cozy guesthouse for people who want to experience life in the Italian mountains. Perhaps if I were to nitpick, I could find some drawbacks. But if someone wanted to go to a spa, they would choose a larger resort and miss out on the experience of living in a small Alpine town. With all my heart and conscience, I can recommend this bed and breakfast.

14/12/2025: Because of us, the experience was faster than it should have been. We were immediately delighted with the entree accompanied by a sparkling wine, followed by the restaurant's unique choice of having the menu brought to your table directly by the manager—a much appreciated experience. The atmosphere is very welcoming and attentive. The staff is kind and knowledgeable. The food is refined yet faithful to tradition. We tried the poached egg with white truffle, the Friulian cappuccino (very popular, there was one at every table and the comments were all positive), tagliatelle with venison ragù, and ravioli with formadi frant and pumpkin, accompanied by glasses recommended by the staff. A delight. P.S. The only downside: the price was a surprise.

16/11/2025: Osteria restaurant in Villalta di Fagagna. Delicious food with a focus on local products. The paccheri with Montasio fondue and Friulian truffle are highly recommended. Roberto is knowledgeable and friendly, with a quick wit. Highly recommended.

04/03/2026: I've been to this restaurant several times over the years, so my opinion isn't based on a single experience, but on multiple visits. The restaurant looks good: the ambiance is well-kept and pleasant, with furnishings that create a pleasant atmosphere. Nothing exceptional, but certainly pleasant. Unfortunately, however, the quality of the cuisine doesn't live up to the image the restaurant wants to convey, nor does it live up to the prices, which are high for the quality offered. On several occasions, I've found dishes to be too salty, excessively greasy, or with a general lack of balance in flavors. On one occasion, I was served raw fish that hadn't been cleaned thoroughly or that wasn't suitable for being served raw. The composition of some dishes also seemed sloppy and inadequate for either the price or the quality the restaurant seems to be promoting. Furthermore, the portions of the main courses have sometimes been truly small: in some cases, literally just a few bites. The service, while not the most critical aspect, doesn't help justify the overall cost of the experience. Even details like the amount of wine served by the glass seemed rather limited. In short, I have the feeling that the restaurant wants to present itself as a premium establishment, but that in reality it fails to live up to its standards, especially considering the prices. A disappointment, especially since it has matured over time and been confirmed by multiple experiences.

03/02/2026: We've been going to this restaurant for about 14 years now. We always enjoy coming back. It's even beautifully renovated now, with a new menu, a new dining room, lots of new things, but as always, the quality is simply sensational.

19/02/2026: We stopped by with the family by chance, the restaurant was full of workers so I thought the food would be simple but good, instead we ordered à la carte and we were pleasantly surprised, everything was excellent, even the elaborate dishes.

18/02/2026: The Al Boschetto restaurant is a guarantee of courtesy, professionalism, and top-quality products. And the best snails à la bourguignon are only available here in San Daniele del Friuli... Not to mention the crêpes flambe❤️ 🌹

Very fast service: even though the restaurant was really busy and we didn't have a reservation, they still found us a room with a lovely fireplace. The dishes were carefully prepared and excellent; we ate very well and were truly satisfied. I will definitely return because it's worth it. I'd say it's a place that manages to handle a large number of customers very well, and the dishes served are of great quality. *****

23/10/2025: Lunch break, top location! Spacious, well-maintained, tidy, and clean. The food is amazing! They pay exemplary attention to detail, without too many frills, but everything is solid and high-quality. Truly one of the best places I've ever stopped, but only because I've yet to find the best. 😉 Recommended to fellow truck drivers; there's room for our beasts.

30/12/2025: Excellent restaurant, you pay little and you eat a lot, friendly, smiling and attentive staff... I recommend taking 1 dish to share between 2 people because the portions are generous.

13/12/2025: How much can go wrong if you stay in business for decades? The portions are for two, so they're a bit more expensive plus the cover charge, but still quite affordable for two people. It's certainly not a high-end restaurant, but it's pretty solid/good.

08/03/2026: A traditional restaurant frequented by locals, it was a surprise for us, but the owners welcomed us like family. Authentic cuisine, excellent locally sourced ingredients, highly recommended.
