A historic trattoria in the relaxing floodplain setting of the Torre Torre stream, overlooking a working irrigation ditch, welcoming and surrounded by well-kept greenery. Traditional Friulian cuisine, with wood-fired grills over a beautiful fireplace in one of the dining rooms, is also available for lunch in the garden. The beef grill, while decent, would be appreciated if the quality was improved.

This restaurant was recommended to me by the owner of the farmhouse where I stayed. I must say that some of the less than flattering reviews had me a little skeptical. However, I have to say it's definitely worth it; we ate very well at a fair price. The staff was friendly, and the service was prompt. I hope to return. Congratulations. Don't follow the negative reviews.

We've been to Da Rochet several times, trying different dishes, and there's never been anything less than excellent. All the dishes were delicious, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The portions aren't huge, but they're perfect for enjoying multiple dishes without feeling overwhelmed, yet still feeling full and satisfied. The pumpkin pie was phenomenal; I ordered and reordered it every time I returned. The Florentine steak was one of the best I've had in the area. The appetizers and desserts were also delicious, with a wide selection. The staff were very polite and helpful. The atmosphere was refined and quaint, very pleasant. Parking was also available. Prices are moderately high, perhaps especially for desserts and side dishes, but overall, considering the quality of the ingredients, they're definitely reasonable.
