15/07/2025: Excellent whole grain sourdough bread. I ordered it by phone and picked it up the same day. The staff was helpful, but perhaps a little disorganized. I never had to wait in line. The bakery was better than the bar service.

14/08/2025: Excellent brioche made fresh daily in the am and illy espresso here. The small panini sandwiches are excellent. Prepared on small baked fresh roll with cotta and fromage. The ladies are friendly and eager to serve the customers. The line of locals speaks for itself. There is a constant stream in and out of local workman and residents. Stopping for a quick bite and an espresso or cappuccino. Highly suge suregest you try this place. Delicious food and friendly service.

06/08/2025: A spacious pastry shop located on the outskirts of Muggia: perfect for a strategic break, especially for those like me driving to Croatia. Plenty of seating both inside and out, ideal in any season. The selection of desserts is truly extensive, ranging from traditional to more classic options: the brioches are fresh and delicious. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Recommended for breakfast or a snack before getting back on the road!

25/04/2025: Al David is a wine bar with kitchen where you eat divinely and immediately feel like you're among friends. The cuisine is excellent, refined and creative, and Sami is a true marvel: energy, passion and hospitality in one person. From 1st to 30th April it hosts the Le vie delle Foto exhibition, which can be visited during opening hours. Go ahead guys! A place that combines taste, heart and culture.

05/08/2025: Everything was good, the service could be faster, and the atmosphere was welcoming and surrounded by the greenery of the Karst.

02/05/2025: Il posto è molto carino il cibo è molto buono ! Unica cosa che avevamo chiesto la carsolina ci è stato detto che era finita !! Dopo qualche ora la carsolina è apparsa su altri tavoli!

31/08/2025: Not great...ate hear in July...place was empty after rain shower...still couldnt get a seat....staff gave us a table completely separate...food combinstions not good at all...staff very unhelpful...have visited Trieste several times...Italy numerous amounts ..without doubt worst dining experience of all my times in my favourite country .

26/08/2025: The fried seafood is excellent, the other dishes (spaghetti vongole pistacchio, calamaro, scallops, etc.) much less so. Not spicy enough, very slow service, one of the five of us forgot a dish, which delayed dinner. A bit expensive for the overall experience. We probably won't try it again.

22/07/2025: I often go for lunch...everything's delicious and the service is fast. The place is clean and the prices are reasonable! The staff is all friendly and always available! Recommended!

08/09/2025: We were displeased with the behavior of the restaurant staff. We asked for help regarding options for our vegetarian daughter. The waiter pointed on the menu to read. We politely asked again, cause we were not sure. Answer: read yourself… (and the restaurant was net even busy). So we left disappointed expecting more service from a good restaurant.

06/09/2025: The service was truly disastrous. The waiters ignored us for most of the evening. The food took a very long time to arrive, and there were also too many delays between courses. The food was good, mid-range fare, but nothing special. For the price in Italy, I really expected something different. The only positive aspects were the location and the view. Conclusion: I will never return to this restaurant, and I don't recommend anyone have dinner there. For drinks, it's adequate.

20/06/2025: One of the best cantucini I've ever eaten. Very tasty and not too hard. They must have been made not too long ago. Highly recommended. Not exactly cheap, but worth every cent. I also got a pizetti, which was also very tasty.

24/08/2025: I ordered two takeout pizzas. When I got home, I was particularly struck by the microscopic size of the pizzas: they looked just like children's pizzas, with a smaller diameter. Convinced it was a mistake, I returned the next day to ask for clarification, but the owner confirmed that that's the size of the pizza they serve at their restaurant: "220 grams of dough," she specified. Now, I don't know exactly how many grams of dough are typically used to make a pizza in Italy, but I'd never been served such a small pizza, especially considering the restaurant's price range. The pizza wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best I've ever eaten. In short, a real shame, considering I recently moved around the corner and I'm a big pizza consumer (3-4 a week). I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

23/08/2025: Simply disappointed. The four of us waited 25 minutes before ordering, and we waited over an hour and a quarter. The first course arrived after another 8 minutes, the second after 4 minutes, the third, and finally, after another 18 minutes, the last course, which was fried calamari, which was boiled. Three pasta dishes arrived in over an hour. Half an hour after I ordered spaghetti with clams, the owner told me they were out of clams, so I chose the seafood sauce. It arrived incredibly spicy. I'm sorry, but I'm very disappointed. There were only two waiters in the dining room, and only one cook in the kitchen. It was too slow, too long a wait.

24/06/2025: sorry to sound rude but 12.50€ for a frozen hamburger is a joke. I can't speak for the rest, since it's a pub, but for what I ate and what I paid I say no.. the beers are probably exceptional but for sandwiches it's better to go to a fast food place..

10/06/2025: A very cozy and very rustic beer hall (in the Bavarian brewery style). The beer selection (primarily Forst) is excellent in both quality and quantity! The (North) Italian and South Tyrolean specialties on offer are delicious (though not necessarily weight-loss-friendly ;) ). The staff is excellent – ​​very professional and (child-)friendly!

15/08/2025: The food and wine were delicious, from cured meats to cheeses and red wine. The owners were also exceptional and offered us tips for our visit to the Aurisina area. We returned several times during our stay.

29/04/2025: Beautiful osmiza in the historic center of Aurisina. In the friendly courtyard you can taste various typical Osmize delicacies. The people in charge of the service were nice and friendly. After various types of cured meats and cheeses, don't miss the dessert, the typical palacinke filled with apricot jam or Nutella. Go there to enjoy the food, the wine and the Carsolina tranquility
