Beautiful apartment and would be a nice location if not for a nightclub right across the street. It's IMPOSSIBLE TO SLEEP on a Saturday. They are blasting music so loud you feel like you're in the middle of the club. Definitely would not recommend to someone who actually wants a peaceful weekend

I'm grateful for the owner's kindness and helpfulness. He spontaneously resolved a mixup with Booking.com. Since he couldn't confirm my reservation, he found me an alternative with the same price and conditions and went out of his way to facilitate my transition.

22/08/2025: We went to eat two pizzas at this pizzeria, the pizza was excellent, one pizza was with porcini mushrooms and they were porcini mushrooms and the mozzarella was really good, even the sauce was really excellent, highly recommended.
20/08/2025: We had a very good meal at a very good price in a pleasant garden. We arrived early around 7:30, but by 8 the place was already full. I highly recommend it!

Trattoria Alla Valle

08/06/2026: Reservation by phone no problem although my Italian is lousy. Antipasti, primi, secondi & dessert + bootle of vino bianco very delicious. A nice experience worth the € 100! Again, next time in Trieste.
05/06/2026: Called by destiny...that's how the guests of this precious rarity are. With Paolo, everything becomes possible...while enjoying Paolo's excellent dishes, you suddenly find yourself in an extraordinary dimension between past and present...all accompanied by beautiful music that permeates the restaurant. The table you're sitting at feels like home, and you feel like you've known Paolo and his guests forever. If you're lucky, fate will lead you to Alla Valle. P.S. Congratulations to Paolo for his excellent cuisine, rooted in tradition, and his friendly and precise table service.
