We can highly recommend this restaurant.
25/04/2025: Al David is a wine bar with kitchen where you eat divinely and immediately feel like you're among friends.
The cuisine is excellent, refined and creative, and Sami is a true marvel: energy, passion and hospitality in one person.
From 1st to 30th April it hosts the Le vie delle Foto exhibition, which can be visited during opening hours.
Go ahead guys! A place that combines taste, heart and culture.

14/05/2025: The place is nice near the Maggiore hospital. I wanted to eat a sandwich with tongue so we stopped here.
Unfortunately the tongue was hard and a good part of it had nerves (not being very cooked they remained hard instead of melting). We reported the problem...and the answer was that another customer had also had it and had not complained!!!!
I have eaten tongue in many other places here in Trieste and I have to say that here they really don't know how to make it. Maybe they will be good on the rest...I hope so!!

-All you can it classic BBQ ribs special offer for Sunday,
- onion rings
- loaded fries (cheddar and bacon)
- 2x 0,5l coca cola
- 1x 0,3l beer
- coffee
- ice cream
- 1x 1l mineral water
ALL OF THAT FOR 54€!!!!!!!
The staff was so nice and respectful, we didn't wait a second in between courses,
And we got a gift at the exit.
Overall we are really happy and our bellies are FULL.
Will definitely visit again❤️

05/05/2025: Restaurant deserves much more than 3.7 in this moment.
Restaurant is heaving old school Italian fealing. Weitreses are charming and good working.
With my family we was on lunchtime. We tried spaghetti a la Ragu (Bolognese), lingvini pesto and calamari fritti (fried). Taste was marbles, huge thanks to the Cook.
Just to know cuver is 2eur/person,but this doesn't means that you should not leave some tip for weitreses...
02/05/2025: Authentic pizza 10/10 except dough could be bettter and it could be PRECUT and not served with fork and knife that you get automatically and not even told its to be paid. So to sum it up: Uncut pizza paid knife. Me personally I dont fw that kind of extortion.

Il posto è curato ed è molto pulito , i camerieri gentili e disponibili.

26/05/2025: Di corsa dopo un tour con audioguida della splendida Trieste e pronti a tuffarsi in nuova avventura a Miramare. Soliti tempi e solita qualità. Un pallino in più per la gentilezza del ragazzo che ci ha servito. Meno automa rispetto ad altri locali della medesima catena.

05/01/2025: Goulash with delicious gnocchi and sliced chicken too, but the side peas were cold... shame about the fried smell that sticks to the clothes and the service was a little disappointing... they forgot a second, the prices are good.
I don't think I will go back.
