14/05/2025: The place is nice near the Maggiore hospital. I wanted to eat a sandwich with tongue so we stopped here.
Unfortunately the tongue was hard and a good part of it had nerves (not being very cooked they remained hard instead of melting). We reported the problem...and the answer was that another customer had also had it and had not complained!!!!
I have eaten tongue in many other places here in Trieste and I have to say that here they really don't know how to make it. Maybe they will be good on the rest...I hope so!!

18/06/2025: Abbiamo preso un gelato oggi pomeriggio, oltre che essere un pessimo gelato, con poco gusto e pieno di ghiaccio, è costato anche un occhio della testa, praticamente un furto con scontrino. Alla cassa non ci sono i prezzi, fai prima lo scontrino e paghi a palline. Peccato perché è un bel locale e le ragazze sono carine e gentili, però con questi prezzi e questa scarsa qualità, sicuramente non ci tornerò più.
03/06/2025: Ero in zona e ho deciso di prendere 4 palline di gelato per la mia famiglia.....capisco gli aumenti di prezzo...(1,80 a pallina)che ormai da per tutto insorgono.....ma almeno da altre parti si paga tanto ma le palline sono almeno abbastanza grandine ....qua ,la pallina era minuscola.....senza esagerare....la ragazza è stata ben istruita??.....non ci si approfitta così.......mai più....

26/05/2025: Di corsa dopo un tour con audioguida della splendida Trieste e pronti a tuffarsi in nuova avventura a Miramare. Soliti tempi e solita qualità. Un pallino in più per la gentilezza del ragazzo che ci ha servito. Meno automa rispetto ad altri locali della medesima catena.

13/07/2025: Curious to try, but the ribs were precooked and reheated with sweet sauces. They tasted like nothing. Mixed grill is paltry for €17.90. Rusty tables. Friendly waiters and good beer.

09/06/2025: SPOILER ALERT: it is not a gourmet place, no fusion cuisine and nothing to do with Michelin stars.
Having said that...what else is there to add?
Livio and Diego welcomed us as friends, even though they were seeing us for the first time. Genuine, rich, simple but high quality food.
A unique, true and sincere environment that fully embodies the Trieste spirit, made of conviviality and laughter.
Recommended only to people looking for a true and sincere experience. Simple, but still leaves its mark.
Will we return? Definitely, every time we have the opportunity.

14/07/2025: If I could not give even one star, I would... The rudeness of the staff is insane 😣 I'm truly speechless! Only the pizza chef is worth a try!
25/02/2025: The pizzas are very good and perfect for an impromptu lunch.
It's a shame for the lack of professionalism of the staff who prefer to talk to colleagues rather than pay attention to the customer; thus creating long waits for everyone.
I hope this gets fixed so I can change my opinion.
UPDATE
I don't know if they've changed the staff or simply lately I've been lucky with the shifts, but the staff has definitely improved (different people from those in the old review) and consequently I think it's right to update the review, great job!

16/07/2025: El personal no está contento o servicial. Visité el restaurante hoy, y todo se sentía demasiado para ser servido. La experiencia de visitar fue arruinada por la actitud del personal y no podía ser molestado con el servicio. Se pidieron bebidas extras y nunca aparecieron. Los clientes eran rechazados selectivamente y no se les permitía sentarse fuera. No volvería a visitarte.
Como nota positiva la comida era encantadora. El personal de camarera no está haciendo el negocio ninguna justificación. Los clientes son un inconveniente
14/07/2025: La pizza era buena, pero el servicio era terrible - camarero muy desagradable, trajeron 1 L de vino en lugar de 1/2 , a pesar de que especifiqué 3 veces quiero 1/2 el litro, e incluso fue grosero que no hay necesidad de repetir, lo consigue. Al final nos cobraron 3 desiertos que no comimos - 19 € más. Pagué con tarjeta y me devolvieron 19 € en efectivo sin ningún problema, lo que significa que esta es una práctica estándar.

30/06/2025: Paying €30 for street parking and reading on the invoice that it's called "parking closed by gates" is truly ridiculous. I asked if at least washing was included, obviously to make a joke but honestly in 36 years that I've been traveling around Italy always on business it's the first time that it's happened to me.
29/06/2025: As soon as I entered the hotel room, in the bathroom there was a black cockroach of gigantic dimensions to say the least…
They changed it for me but I found the bathroom that smelled of sewage…
In the bed there was definitely something because as soon as I sat up I started scratching myself all over…

Servizio ottimo cameriere eccezionale bravo e simpatico
Decisamente un ottimo ristorante da visitare anche a pranzo con la terrazza esterna sul lungomare del villaggio.

15/07/2024: This time I exaggerated, I gave a whole star!
The food is less than mediocre, I have no idea what oil they use for cooking, but it is certainly a friend of your cholesterol. The service is worthy of a soup kitchen (sorry for the comparison, but it is certainly better there).
The environment is modest, but decorous.
The owner is the most rude and rude thing you can imagine, and with your imagination you can't even come close.
As for the portions and prices, I'll leave you a surprise if you dare to try it.
At the cost of grazing the grass in the meadows I will never go there again.

Unfortunately, there are no other alternatives! Of course, they know this and take advantage of it! It would be a nice place, but the background music is terrible!
04/07/2025: It's a beautiful setting and the restaurant looks very nice, but the portions are very small and it's very expensive. The staff look very annoyed and hardly speak at all. It's very nice, but it's not really worth it! The background music is awful and makes you very tired. I wouldn't eat here again!
