18/08/2025: Small but well-kept! Delicious, fresh food! High-quality ingredients and fair prices! Helpful and friendly staff! I think it's one of the best Trieste taverns still in the area!

04/08/2025: Closed at 9pm even though it says so. Closed at 9:30pm. Place full of drunkards, dangerous people, poor food, terrible sanitary conditions.

13/11/2025: The atmosphere is rustic, and I like it that way. The food is excellent and well-cooked. The staff is very polite and friendly. Highly recommended.

07/08/2025: Es gibt viele positive Aspekte dieses Lokals: Verlässliche Öffnungszeiten (in Porto San Rocco nicht selbstverständlich), herzliche Eigentümerfamilie, vernünftige Preise und tolle Lage. Die Pizzeria bietet eine große Auswahl an wirklich köstlichen Pizzen. Die Trattoria-Karte ist ordentlich, aber leider werden (zu) viele Convenience-Produkte serviert, was wirklich schade ist. Sie sind nicht schlecht, aber man merkt die Massenware. Die Getränkeauswahl ist einfach, birgt aber kleine nette Überraschungen wie die Biere der südtiroler Brauerei Forst.

27/07/2025: Che bello!!!! Ambiente familiare, Simonetta una proprietaria che ti fa sentire a casa. Il mangiare? Che si mangia puzza , pesce è veramente fotonico. Ho mangiato una pasta con gli scampi ( giganti) che era fotonica!! Non lo consiglio... LO STRACONSIGLIO. Complimenti a tutti. Torneremo presto

29/07/2025: The atmosphere was very noisy due to the construction workers across the street drilling at 3:00 PM. We also waited over 25 minutes for two plates of pasta and a bottle of water. The staff was friendly, but we had some difficulty with the bill.

17/07/2025: Al David Vineria con Cucina in the center of Trieste seemed like an ideal place, I had read many good reviews before, especially for the seafood and the wine selection . Unfortunately, my pasta bolognese was completely tasteless, and the sauce did not have the character I expected: it was neither spicy nor meaty - it was simply pasta cooked in salt water, with neither texture nor taste satisfactory.” “The atmosphere and service were nice, but if the food experience does not live up to the price/value expectations, it is a disappointment. Since I came specifically for a classic Italian pasta bolognese, and I could not get it in proper quality, unfortunately I cannot recommend it - this dish really let my experience down.”

22/10/2025: Today, for the umpteenth time, I had the opportunity to see at this store how a downtown location, located in a strategic area with many offices, should NOT operate during lunch breaks. As usual, the staff was understaffed for the number of customers, but the novelty of the day was that, to assist the SINGLE kitchen worker, the cashier joined her, abandoning the register for 10 minutes (which, let's remember, is quite a long time during an average one-hour lunch break), thus preventing both customers in line from ordering and those who had already ordered and paid in advance via the app from picking up their orders (like myself). The result was that the order was delivered 16 minutes later than scheduled, despite having been prepared on time, and therefore inevitably arrived cold and essentially inedible to me. I'm sorry to be so blunt and direct in my review, but given that this is the umpteenth time something like this has happened, and that bothering the workers would be counterproductive because it would slow down service for other customers, it's the only sensible and coherent tool to use. Needless to say, today I've lost a customer and I'll do nothing but badmouth this place until I hear some other customers' comments to the contrary. I hope this insight can help open your eyes to such a blatant situation during the one time of day when a place should be providing efficient and effective service.

08/10/2025: I ordered a piadina with an omelette supplement... the result??? No omelette and no omelette supplement. I called the store and they "candidly" said they were out of stock. In these cases, the customer is notified BEFORE delivery. Kudos to you for your TV advertising, which doesn't correspond to reality.

16/12/2025: We came to your place for lunch last weekend and I was pleasantly surprised by the vegetarian options on the menu! Kudos to the girl in the blouse for showing me all the options and meat-free options. The atmosphere was pleasant and the experience was beyond positive for all of us!

15/12/2025: Personally, I had a great time. I had the grilled chicken with arugula and cherry tomatoes, and I have to say it was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The prices may not be the lowest, but they're in line with what's available these days. I'll definitely be back!

30/09/2025: During the renovation we were given rooms on the top floor without a lift and still to be renovated under the roof not exactly a nice value to see living and above all paying other people on the lower floors everything was ok maybe we were the unlucky ones and in any case we were not warned of the differences in quality of the rooms by the manager

01/10/2025: A typical Trieste buffet, featuring traditional local dishes. Ideal for a quick snack, a business lunch, or an after-work aperitif. Recommended are the homemade "liptauer" and the bread dumplings with goulash. Prices vary, of course, depending on the type of food (a quick but tasty snack or a more traditional lunch), but they're always reasonable.

08/11/2025: Great experience at the beer garden. The adults had excellent sandwiches and the kids had toasted sandwiches and chips. Great selection of beers. We finished off with a nice, tasty palcinka. ;)

19/10/2025: Disappointing and I'm sorry because I've been going there all my life... treated terribly because I asked if they no longer did table service... (there wasn't even a sign) I won't go there anymore.
