20/08/2025: We dined at the Società Nautica several times during the week of Ferragosto. The new management is truly amazing: their friendliness, warmth, and hospitality made us feel at home! The dishes were incredibly fresh and plentiful. The lagoon appetizer, as pictured, was exceptional. The young waiters were very kind and attentive, and the owners truly pampered us with their delicious Sicilian cannoli. We were fortunate enough to participate in a themed evening with truly pleasant and relaxing musical entertainment. We hope this new management continues like this and we hope to see you soon! 01/06/2025: Deze plek was een enorme aanrader. Het volledige terras zat vol maar de vriendelijke obers deden toch hun best om snel een tafeltje vrij te maken. Het is hier enorm leuk buiten zitten op een gezellig pleintje in een levendige stad. Het eten was bovendien heerlijk voor een correcte prijs!

28/05/2025: Esta es una hermosa trattoria cerca de las tiendas de antigüedades y la plaza principal. Somos vegetarianos tan difíciles de comer en Trieste. ¡L’Antiquario fue un placer! Nuestros entrantes eran flores de calabacín fritas y hojas de salvia. ¡La cesta de pan también tenía un pan precioso! Tuvimos los ñoquis con pesto casero con ricota - precioso - y nos llevamos a casa el insalato con queso, semillas, col rizada, repollo rojo, así que ya estamos llenos y el insalato era ENORME! Precio muy razonable también. Definitivamente volveremos

18/08/2025: At the restaurant, the waitress verbally announced the menu without specifying the prices: €17 for a scallops appetizer and €12 for half a liter of house wine. Naive us, so be careful, please...

27/08/2025: We visited this restaurant in the evening, hungry. The burger helped with my hunger, but it worsened my depression because, contrary to all expectations, the Tropical Schmashed Burger didn't take me out of my comfort zone; it was just a burger. On top of that, despite my social anxiety, I had to order a double drink, and I even got the wrong one. If you're hungry, you're welcome to stop by, but if you're looking for spiritual enlightenment, you'll unfortunately be left empty-handed.

04/08/2025: I visited the Italian restaurant Risorta with high expectations, but unfortunately, the reality was far from perfect. Despite the elegant decor, views of the bay, and friendly service, the dishes didn't live up to expectations, either in taste or portion sizes. The dishes were mediocre, lacking the intensity and freshness one would expect from Italian cuisine. Furthermore, the portions were surprisingly small, and the prices were definitely inflated for the quality offered. The baked potatoes, such a simple side dish, were disgusting! I felt like I was paying primarily for the location and decor, not the food itself. I paid €250, and no one was satisfied. It's a shame, because I was hoping for a true Italian feast. Don't eat there!

03/08/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at this splendid seafood restaurant overlooking the sea, immersed in a relaxing atmosphere with meticulous attention to detail. But it's the food that truly made the experience special. Every dish served was a triumph of freshness, authentic flavors, and elegant presentation. The attention to quality and seasonality of the ingredients is clearly evident, as is the skill and passion of the kitchen. The staff was impeccable: friendly, professional, and attentive without ever being intrusive. A special mention goes to young Marco, a truly talented waiter: polite, kind, always smiling, and available. His friendliness made our evening even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for excellent seafood in a unique and relaxing setting. We'll definitely be back! .

07/08/2025: Es gibt viele positive Aspekte dieses Lokals: Verlässliche Öffnungszeiten (in Porto San Rocco nicht selbstverständlich), herzliche Eigentümerfamilie, vernünftige Preise und tolle Lage. Die Pizzeria bietet eine große Auswahl an wirklich köstlichen Pizzen. Die Trattoria-Karte ist ordentlich, aber leider werden (zu) viele Convenience-Produkte serviert, was wirklich schade ist. Sie sind nicht schlecht, aber man merkt die Massenware. Die Getränkeauswahl ist einfach, birgt aber kleine nette Überraschungen wie die Biere der südtiroler Brauerei Forst.

27/07/2025: Che bello!!!! Ambiente familiare, Simonetta una proprietaria che ti fa sentire a casa. Il mangiare? Che si mangia puzza , pesce è veramente fotonico. Ho mangiato una pasta con gli scampi ( giganti) che era fotonica!! Non lo consiglio... LO STRACONSIGLIO. Complimenti a tutti. Torneremo presto

04/08/2025: Closed at 9pm even though it says so. Closed at 9:30pm. Place full of drunkards, dangerous people, poor food, terrible sanitary conditions.

16/06/2025: Absolutely recommended. Just try the menu; the staff is super friendly, accommodating, and English-speaking.

20/08/2025: Clean place with a lovely atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff. But let's get to the heart of the matter: the piadinas... Delicious, with good dough and good ingredients, and the friendly staff makes it all excellent.

29/07/2025: Disturbing experience: last night, I entered the restaurant on Viale XX Settembre at 9:30 PM. The girl at the counter, after making me wait a few minutes, informed me that "they're closing." I was shocked to see the clock and pointed out that it was half an hour before closing time (10:00 PM). There was no way, I couldn't sit down because "they must be out by 10:00 AM" (and the bathroom was inaccessible due to cleaning). I already knew about this city's notorious "desire to work," but this episode exceeded my expectations. I don't think there's another place on earth where 9:30 PM is too late to serve a piadina (certainly not anywhere else in Italy).

23/08/2025: The pizza was awful, the dough was hard, the waiters were slow and strange, the selection of wines on the menu wasn't there, I looked at it 3-4 years ago and it got much worse, in my opinion it's worth avoiding.

20/08/2025: I always come here with my aunt for pizza because it's incredibly good and easy to digest. Today I ordered a dish from the restaurant, and it confirms the excellent cuisine, variety, and attention to detail. They offer both tasty treats and healthy, light dishes. Smiles and helpful staff rounded out this pleasant lunch break.

31/08/2025: An excellent seafood restaurant offering a wide selection of carefully prepared dishes at fair prices. Excellent wine selection, fast and friendly service, all under the supervision of the friendly and knowledgeable owner.
