10/05/2025: Ci siamo entrati per caso, perché vicino al ns Hotel, la migliore cena con piatti tipici e vino 🍷 del posto, piatti semplici ma squisiti e gustosi. Assolutamente consigliato

06/05/2025: Locale molto carino, pulito e curato scovato grazie al classico passaparola. Accoglienza cordiale e simpaticissima. Ottima preparazione del personale in merito alla carta dei vini, alle materie prime e all'utilizzo delle stesse. Non essendo del posto ci siamo affidate a loro sia per la scelta dei piatti tipici locali che del vino ed era tutto eccezionale. Ottimo anche il rapporto qualità prezzo. Nulla da aggiungere. Super consigliato.

07/09/2025: This is the second time, in six months, that I've decided to sit down for its prime location. After a while, my previous assessment of the staff and service is confirmed, disappointing and unprofessional. Not a smile, not a word of politeness from the maître d' at the entrance who indicates your seat. The staff can't recommend cocktails or anything else other than bringing you the menu. Delivery is rushed with little attention to the customer. Seats and cushions are stained with crumbs from previous occupants, tables are unstable, and prices don't justify the poor service (€9 for a slice of cake; for the same price and in a historic location, I've had professional and privileged service at Caffè Sacher or Caffè Tommaseo or S. Marco). A real shame for a renowned café with historic value and a refined interior.

01/09/2025: Very friendly staff. And that alone is a great thing. Excellent quality. I noticed that many of the customers are local, so that's a very positive sign. Definitely worth trying again.

28/08/2025: We came here at lunchtime and it was almost full. The waiter came out and asked what we wanted. We couldn't even answer, when he heard that we were foreigners he immediately said there was no room! Unfortunately, this was very bad because we had a long way to go. But we stopped because it seemed like a very cozy restaurant. I hope someone else will have better luck.

16/08/2025: The restaurant is centrally located in a pedestrian zone and offers delicious food at reasonable prices. The service is fast, friendly, and they make every effort to communicate with guests in English. As a tourist, I felt very comfortable here and would like to thank them for the excellent food. I particularly recommend the pizza Diavola and the pasta dishes, which were very delicious. I had tiramisu for the first time, and I really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the pizza carbonara the day before, but others in the group did, and as you know, tastes differ – all the other dishes, however, were excellent.

24/07/2025: Good pizzas and delicious cuisine. Comfortable atmosphere. Tables are well-spaced. Now also offering excellent artisanal gelato from Gelateria Arnoldo. In the warmer months, there are plenty of outdoor tables shaded by centuries-old trees in a pedestrian area with plenty of space. A lovely children's play area is just 50 meters away. Also open in the morning as a bar.

24/08/2025: We ordered pizza and wine. The pizza was very poor, and the cheese seemed to be of inferior quality, greasy and sticky.

21/08/2025: Great pizza, the crew know how to make it. Very cool online menu in different languages(Polish in this case) which helped my parents to choose. The only downside is the drinks are a bit pricey compared to the reasonable prices for pizza. Good, welcoming friendly service and location of the place.

11/06/2025: Ci siamo fermati dopo un paio di mesi in questo splendido Ristorante con mia moglie. Abbiamo ordinato il menu “ Mare” ed era semplicemente squisito. Ogni piatto preparato con tanta cura e profesionalita. Il personale e’ molto cordiale e professionale. Mi chiedo soltanto una domanda dove sono gli ispettori Michelin ? Secondo mia opinione dovrebbe essere minilo nel Michelin guide. Ci ritorneremo

06/06/2025: No puedo agradecer lo suficiente al personal de Chimera di Bacco. Me llevé a mi marido aquí para celebrar su 70 cumpleaños y con el tiempo me puse un poco nervioso por ello porque algunas de las críticas no fueron tan buenas como quería que fueran. Hubiera sido un terrible error cancelar. Tuvimos una noche fantástica. El servicio fue impecable. La cesta de pan, la bolsa de diversión, el pre-postre y los petit fours eran todas cosas que no esperábamos que consiguiéramos. Además, tuvimos dos entrantes, dos platos principales y un postre. Incluso se acordaron de poner una vela azul en un pequeño soporte azul en el plato de postre para mi marido - lo dulce que es esto. La camarera le susurró "feliz cumpleaños" al oído y al final de la noche el patrón también se acercó para desearle un feliz cumpleaños. Quítate el sombrero a los chefs de la cocina - el sabor de la comida era excepcional - por mucho la mejor comida que tuvimos mientras estábamos en Trieste. Cenamos a las 7 y yo estaba un poco preocupado porque no había nadie más en el restaurante, pero a las 8 cada mesa estaba ocupada. Tuvimos aperos en Harry's Bar, así que solo tuvimos una botella de vino tinto con nuestra comida y fue perfecto. Gracias a todo el personal de Chimera di Bacco - ya he recomendado su restaurante a los amigos que viajan a Trieste.

26/04/2025: Cozy restaurant in nautical style on the 1st floor terrace. sea ​​view, well-kept and tidy, fast and attentive service. It feels like being on a boat with friends and family. Menu of the day (15/4) based on fish: scotadeo style mussels, abundant fried sardines and tarnished prawns, radicchio and beans, water, loose Friulian wine, coca-cola, bread and cover charge €20.00/pers. Suitable for celebrating a large group. I will return with my family.

26/06/2025: My recent experience at the Golden Horse sandwich shop was, without hesitation, among the most disappointing and unpleasant that I can count in the panorama of informal catering. First of all, it is necessary to report an unjustifiable delay of twenty minutes in the delivery of the order, despite the fact that the place did not have a sufficient turnout to justify such waiting times. Such operational inefficiency reveals a completely inadequate management, devoid of the minimum respect for the customer. As if this were not enough, the sandwiches were served to us cold, in clear contradiction with any acceptable standard of catering, even the simplest. This detail, which might seem marginal in other contexts, here is configured as an emblem of unacceptable carelessness and systemic neglect. The professionalism of the staff, then, proved to be lacking from every point of view: a listless, rude attitude, almost annoyed by the presence of the customers, made the interaction unpleasant and devoid of any kind of courtesy. Not a smile, not a word of courtesy, not an attempt to remedy the poor service: nothing. Finally, the quality of the food was surprisingly low. The ingredients appeared cheap, lacking freshness and completely devoid of flavor; all presented without care or dignity. In a gastronomic panorama now saturated with similar proposals, Golden Horse manages the unfortunate feat of standing out in a negative way. In conclusion, I strongly advise against Golden Horse to anyone who has even a minimal respect for their time, their palate and their dignity as a customer. An experience to forget.

04/09/2025: The freakish camping I have ever been to. Avoid if possible! I have email them to book places for 2 tents, no answer. I have called with 2 months in advance of arrival and the answer was "for the 1st of September for 2 tents you don't need any reservation, just come here". And yet, when we arrived the guy taking care of accommodation said we needed at reservation.....and it was 19:00. Somehow he wanted to look like he was doing us a big, big favor and he shoved us a place (gravel+mud) where we could camp. It was a place for only one car and a tent and he charged us for 2 tents. Probably he doesn't know his own camping site or he was ill-intended as we discovered that there were plenty of free spots later. We asked him to do the formalities faster since we wanted to catch the 20:04 tram 2, but he kept on smiling and moving like a replay....We stayed just for one night since we were treated like this. The only good take-away is the view from the parking or the top spot of the camping, but you could have that from the Obelisco di Trieste itself. Anyway, the guy is a freak, better avoid!

03/09/2025: An old campsite that certainly doesn't deserve 5 stars for its amenities (be careful, always bring your own toilet paper to the restroom), but 10 stars for the view and friendliness. We were very satisfied and here
