01/06/2025: First time at the Coretti osmiza. Very good cold cuts and cheeses, as well as the wine, both white and red, and the ricotta dessert. Convivial atmosphere and absolutely reasonable bill. To return.

10/05/2025: Ci siamo entrati per caso, perché vicino al ns Hotel, la migliore cena con piatti tipici e vino 🍷 del posto, piatti semplici ma squisiti e gustosi. Assolutamente consigliato

06/05/2025: Locale molto carino, pulito e curato scovato grazie al classico passaparola. Accoglienza cordiale e simpaticissima. Ottima preparazione del personale in merito alla carta dei vini, alle materie prime e all'utilizzo delle stesse. Non essendo del posto ci siamo affidate a loro sia per la scelta dei piatti tipici locali che del vino ed era tutto eccezionale. Ottimo anche il rapporto qualità prezzo. Nulla da aggiungere. Super consigliato.

10/11/2025: Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the start. I had already asked over the phone to eat outside, but with the option of moving inside in case of bad weather. I was told that wasn't possible. I had also asked about the availability of high chairs for the children, but was told they were all already booked, so we had to bring our own. When we arrived at the restaurant, they sat us at a table without glasses or cutlery, despite having previously informed us that there were six adults, an eight-year-old girl, and three six-month-old babies. The order was taken without a paper menu, everything was spoken verbally, without knowing the prices or the details of the dishes. We asked for a large appetizer, but were brought a small one. The service was slow and confusing, with several errors and delays. When it came to the bill, we found inconsistencies: a cover charge had been charged even for the infants (who ate only baby food brought from home) and additional side dishes had never been ordered. After we reported it, we were refunded €8 in cash, but soon afterward, in the parking lot, they approached us and charged us another €18, due to their mistake on the "Lubianske" (Libianske) lines. Overall, a poorly organized experience, with little clarity, confusing management, and rude attitudes. It's a shame, because the place has potential, but the service and customer management were truly disappointing.

03/11/2025: We arrived late on a Sunday, four of us, without a reservation. Despite this, they welcomed us with the utmost courtesy and offered us excellent dishes at a very competitive price. I will definitely return and recommend it.

18/10/2025: We had lunch at this farmhouse... The food was good but completely lacked salt... The service was a bit too superficial.

11/12/2025: The atmosphere is classic, typical of a Carso tavern. A real gem is the soundproofing, which prevents annoying echoes when the room is full. In the summer, there's a lovely, cool outdoor area. The dishes are excellent, and you have to try them all.

10/12/2025: Excellent trattoria in Malchina serving traditional local cuisine. The fusi, orzotto, and lubjanska pasta are particularly popular. The atmosphere is simple and the service is efficient. Recommended.

08/12/2025: Caffé degli Specchi (specchi means mirrors:) is in the biggest/main square (piazza Unita) of Trieste. You can have a wonderful breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, evening drink or dinner there. The view, if you sit outside, is extraordinarily 💛 They have a large selection of sweets/desserts. Things could be expensive but worth it. But there is a twist - if you get a "coffee al banco", it costs 1 € that is the cheapest in the city. Not only that, you get a free hot chocolate that makes a heaven on Earth 💝 Must go place 😊

05/09/2025: It was my first time there and I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was fantastic. A cozy old farmhouse has been converted into a cozy place where you can even stay overnight. The garden is beautiful, the tables and chairs are new, and everything is great. The service is very friendly. The food is everything that's produced on the farm. The prices are absolutely fantastic. For three people, including drinks, it came to just under €50, very reasonable. I highly recommend it. I'd gladly go back anytime.

13/11/2025: Excellent, central location near Piazza Unità and Piazza della Borsa. This bar, dating back to 1832, features some antique furnishings. It's well-stocked for quick snacks like sandwiches, toasted sandwiches, etc., and also offers a selection of first courses. Outside tables are located in a busy area. The staff is friendly and fast. It's also popular with seagulls, who sometimes outpace the customers and staff. Unfortunately, the tables, both inside and outside, are not accessible to wheelchairs.

03/11/2025: We stopped because it's on the highway and we didn't want to take a long detour into town. What can I say? Everything we "ate" seemed like yesterday's leftovers, food thrown haphazardly on our plates.

26/04/2025: Cozy restaurant in nautical style on the 1st floor terrace. sea ​​view, well-kept and tidy, fast and attentive service. It feels like being on a boat with friends and family. Menu of the day (15/4) based on fish: scotadeo style mussels, abundant fried sardines and tarnished prawns, radicchio and beans, water, loose Friulian wine, coca-cola, bread and cover charge €20.00/pers. Suitable for celebrating a large group. I will return with my family.

20/11/2025: I came here yesterday afternoon, after a long time (several years ago, before smartphones and before the review system), for a coffee, and I must say, I had a great time... Spacious atmosphere, good coffee at a good price, especially considering the location on Viale XX Settembre, and it's a real pleasure that the other customers (at least that was the case yesterday) are overwhelmingly students/university students, so (at least that's what I sensed) the level of culture of those who enter this café (at least that was my impression) is considered higher than many other bars in the city... Everything was pleasant, so my overall rating is 5 stars.
