I went for dinner with my family, everything was delicious, fast service and very nice restaurant

Saturday night dinner. As strangers, we chose this restaurant to sample the local cuisine. I'd say we weren't wrong. We had an appetizer of cured meats with giardiniera (fresh pickled vegetables) and fried gnocco, a perfect size for two and delicious. Anolini pasta in broth, and the broth was truly, truly flavorful; pisarei (a type of pasta) and fasoi (a type of pasta with beans), also certainly worth the price. For the child, a "bistecchina" (steak) Milanese-style, which was almost too big to handle. A bottle of Gutturnio, drunk from the typical wine bowls, and two bottles of still water. We finished with a Bargnolino, a very unique bitter liqueur, decidedly sweet. Everything was excellent, except for the desserts, which could be improved. I didn't get any archermes from the zuppa inglese—guys, you definitely need to use more of it. The tiramisu was ordinary. A shame, because all the other dishes are truly excellent. Special mention goes to the wait staff, who were very attentive and helpful. And with that extra smile that's always a pleasure. We spent a total of €112.00. A fair price for the emotions we took home.

We were parked with our camper at a not-so-nice camper site. But this restaurant really made our visit to Piacenza super. The food was delicious and the service very friendly. So, a really great, cozy restaurant.

A quaint and traditional Piacenza restaurant. The atmosphere recreates an old-fashioned tavern. The cuisine is classic Piacenza with a touch of quality. Dishes reflect the season, using seasonal ingredients. Friendly and courteous service.

It’s authentic restaurant of Piacentino. Prices are very moderate I would say even low in comparison with other restaurants in this city. The food is very good, especially stinco di maiale. Tiramisù is delicious.

We had lunch here on May 10, 2026. Excellent value for money. Delicious fried dumplings, not greasy, and the first courses were also very good. Good service, everyone was very friendly, the place was very clean, and I, who am allergic to milk, found the sorbet made without milk. 😁

A return to Piacenza: the dishes my mother used to make, a homely yet refined and creative atmosphere, and professional and friendly service.

When it's top, it's top. Everything is great: the food, the service, the hospitality, the atmosphere. It's a firm favorite. I'll be back there for the next two weeks of work in Piacenza.
