Personally, I didn't find it exciting either in terms of food or atmosphere. Friendly staff, but not very coordinated with the kitchen. Maybe I chose the wrong night

17/03/2024: Trattoria/ristorante in collina con vista…. Posto semplice ma cucina ottima. Consiglio i “pisarei e fasö”. Servizio molto veloce e disponibilità (visto che siamo arrivati quasi 2 ore dopo, avvisandoli preventivamente). Dolci eccellenti! Prezzi a mio parere allineati! Ci ritorneremo!
11/03/2024: Ormai per noi è una tappa fissa, un posto in cui ritrovare i veri sapori della cucina piacentina. Tortelli e anolini superlativi! Location semplice con vista sulle colline, staff molto disponibile e sempre attento alle diverse esigenze, ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Consigliatissimo!

Ristorante Pizzeria Charlie

20/03/2024: A strange experience: we were told to sit anywhere, and then ordered to sit somewhere else, where the music was so loud that we moved once again. I ordered the Anolini in Brodo, because it is traditional in this area, and my husband the Cotaletta Milanese. His was fine, but mine was almost inedible; the broth had no flavour whatsoever, it tasted like the Anolini and its pasta water had been poured into my bowl. NO FLAVOUR. €14! I spooned/drank up the "broth" first, and then spooned parmesan over the little filled pastas, and I got through it that way. It was the worst meal I have eaten during this year's five weeks exploring Italy. The wine, however - a still house white - was amazing.
