23/06/2025: Siamo stati con dei nostri amici a pranzo e ci siamo trovati veramente bene. Salumi e gnocco fritto ottimi, tortelli piacentini molto buoni, gnocchi al tartufo indimenticabili. I gnocchi fatti in casa ricordano quelli fatti dalla nonna. Insalata e assaggio di formaggi biologici. Il nuovo chef Simone veramente bravo!

16/07/2025: We had dinner last night to celebrate a birthday, and we brought a cake, as often happens. At the end of the day, we found ourselves charged €20 for the cake cutting service. This had never happened to me before. The owner also provided completely inadequate responses. One star is for her, not for her employees, who were very polite and professional.

09/07/2025: First time in this fish restaurant in a beautiful square and I am very satisfied with the dishes and the quality of the food. Dinner started with a nice aperitif with an excellent prosecco. Definitely to return.

12/04/2025: We just had lunch with Mr. Giancarlo, what a man! Impeccable treatment and cuisine. Each dish is expertly prepared with self-produced 0km ingredients. The service is accompanied by a detailed explanation of the course and its ingredients. Below is the menu that we had the pleasure of tasting: • Typical Piacenza cured meats (bacon, coppa, 3 types of salami, bresaola, lard, lard pesto) accompanied by fried gnocco. • First courses: risotto (perfectly cooked), very soft pumpkin cannelloni, anolini in broth. • The second courses: pink point magatello, Angus tartare, polenta with gorgonzola/cotechino/stew, finally Florentine-style steak that melted in the mouth. Followed by the cheese table. • And finally, desserts cooked in a wood oven (sbrisolona, ​​fig tart and apple pie) + tiramisu. Despite the size of the meal (we were at the table for 5 hours), the excellent quality of the cuisine absolutely did not affect digestion. Honorable mention for the goodness of the meat!!! Absolutely recommended, excellent experience. We will be happy to return!

Typical local dishes, cooked with experience, which make you travel back in time. The value for money is exceptional! Unfortunately it is far from our residence and therefore we cannot go there often. Applause to everyone and no less to Giovanni for his kindness. Well done!

23/04/2025: Ristorante a gestione famigliare dove ti senti a casa.e la qualità della materia prima è la cosa più importante. Personale cortese e attento alle esigenze del cliente. Piatti tipici del luogo, cucinati con 'esperienza, che ti fanno viaggiare a ritroso nel tempo. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è eccezionale! Purtroppo è distante dalla nostra residenza e quindi non possiamo andarci spesso. Un plauso a tutti e non meno a Giovanni per la simpatia. Bravi!

18/06/2025: Disorganized and long waiting times. Good dishes (if you are lucky with the cooking methods and they don't bring them to you half raw). Staff not too friendly and helpful, not very attentive to customer requests and annoying. I have come here many times with my family but this one was different and we felt treated superficially. We won't be back... nice place yes but if you really have to eat in Piacenza there are much, much better, believe me. Poor. Response following the "very professional" reply from the owner: Dear Owner, I am sincerely sorry to read such an aggressive and intimidating tone in response to a polite review based on a personal experience. My intent was not at all defamatory, but simply to describe what I and my family experienced during the visit to your place. Unfortunately, on this platform customers are not allowed to respond directly to the owners, so I am forced to update my opinion here. I don't have any photos of the dish because, as you can imagine, it wasn't our priority, and we were also in a bit of a hurry at the time. We didn't complain on site only because of a question of time, not because there weren't valid reasons. We arrived at 1:00 pm and waited half an hour just to order. This, combined with the dish being served half raw and the staff's lack of availability, compromised the experience. Your threatening response, which even speaks of "defamation", is out of place and worrying. Constructive criticism, if accepted with maturity, can be an opportunity for improvement. I suggest you think about the way you address your customers and the fact that every opinion, if expressed with respect, has the right to exist. I kept a civil tone, which I can't say about your reply. Therefore, we won't be returning and we won't recommend this place to others. Have a good day (and honestly, after what I've read, also a definitive "never again").

15/06/2025: What can I say, a top osteria, where the dishes are pampered by the chef who prepares them, recommended for both lunch and dinner, keep it up. I will not forget the amazing apricot semifreddo...

30/06/2025: Tonight we tried a non-typical dish "ravioli stuffed with sea bass with calamari and yellow tomatoes". Really tasty. Then, Chiara's tiramisu is a guarantee. But more than anything else it is Chiara's ability to make you feel at home

27/06/2025: Dopo una splendida passeggiata al Giardino Alpino del Monte di Pietra Corva, ci siamo fermate a Il Molino per cena, accompagnate dai nostri cani. Prima di entrare abbiamo chiesto se fossero ammessi e ci è stato confermato di sì. Fin qui tutto bene, finché, appena accompagnate al tavolo, senza neppure il tempo di sederci, abbiamo sentito il (presunto) proprietario pronunciare ad alta voce: “sti ca**o di cani di mer*a”. Siamo rimaste sinceramente perplesse, anche perché i nostri cani – di taglia medio-grande – sono rimasti sdraiati sotto il tavolo per tutta la durata della cena, senza abbaiare né arrecare alcun disturbo. La cameriera, al contrario, è stata molto gentile ed educata. Abbiamo ordinato la pizza, che si è rivelata buona, con prezzi più bassi rispetto alla media della zona. Purtroppo, durante tutta la cena, il (presunto) proprietario ha continuato a passare tra i tavoli borbottando, imprecando e bestemmiando. Non è stato chiaro se ce l’avesse ancora con la presenza dei cani o se fosse semplicemente il suo modo di fare, ma il risultato è stato un’atmosfera spiacevole e tesa. Un vero peccato, perché la qualità del cibo e il servizio della cameriera meritavano una valutazione più alta. Ma l’accoglienza e il rispetto dei clienti (e dei loro animali, se accettati) fanno parte dell’esperienza complessiva.

13/07/2025: We ordered 4 pizzas, 2 of which were Margheritas. I don't know what happened, but I recommend changing the pizza chef, or at least checking his work. The pizza was absurd. I'll explain: the tomato sauce was like puree from cardboard boxes, tasteless, horrible. The fries, what am I talking about? Anyway, the pizza was a disgrace. Last thing, when it was time to pay, I went to the cashier with my friend. We asked for a separate bill, and were told, "Here's the receipt, you split it!" I was shocked, but in a calm tone, I wanted to tell him, "I'm paying you handsomely, and I didn't even eat..." I'll never go back.

22/06/2025: Very nice place, far from the stress of the city and located on a hill. Beautiful surrounding landscape. The food is good overall but the prices are a bit high (1.50€ per handmade arrosticino yes but still small is an exaggeration). The bruschetta is also good. The service leaves much to be desired.

10/07/2025: Camere pulitissime in una struttura incantevole, nuovissima. Attenzione ai particolari, sia nell'arredamento sia nei servizi e nella scelta dei materiali. Molto bravi anche per i saponi bio. La piscina è un plus notevole. Colazione dolce e salata abbondante. Abbiamo anche pranzato la domenica ed è tutto squisito. Ma soprattutto la gentilezza di tutto il personale fa la differenza. Ti senti a casa, ti senti coccolato. Noi torneremo sicuramente e lo consigliamo a chiunque voglia staccare dalla confusione della città.

04/07/2025: passano gli anni ed è sempre un ottimo posto dove mangiare Piacentino , antipasti fantastici e primi sempre di alto livello , ottimi i secondi di carne e una menzione per i dolci , servizio perfetto e tempi di attesa nella media anche se con la sala piena. Ambienti rinnovati ed ampliati con possibilità di pernotto e piscina. Veramente da visitare
