I had the pleasure of dining at Taverna In in Piacenza during a leisure trip. The atmosphere is warm and authentic, with an atmosphere reminiscent of local traditions. The staff was friendly and attentive. The bill was fair for the quality offered. I recommend this taverna to anyone who wants to experience authentic Piacenza cuisine.

Super thin, delicious pizza, fantastic tiramisu. The basement restaurant is beautifully decorated. And before the meal, they served warm olive bread.

I was surprised by the place; it's charming, especially with its historic ceiling and staircase. Perhaps the decor could use a refresh, but what really matters is the food: out of this world, you can taste the quality, perfectly cooked, and absolutely mouthwatering! The prices are more than fair (€30 for two, including two first courses and a second course) and the portions are generous. I'll definitely be back!

A must-try, the owner is friendly, and the chef, Simone, is top-notch. Traditional and local dishes with innovative twists. The wild boar with chickpea hummus is spectacular, along with fried porcini mushrooms with a wild garlic sauce. And to finish, the must made with una frambors... it evokes all the flavors and memories of childhood. You have to go and try it. It's worth it at least once, and there's plenty of space between tables. It's also suitable for parties.

Agriturismo La Costa

18/10/2025: A simple and authentic farmhouse nestled in the greenery of the Val d'Arda. It's easy to find, even if the maps aren't very accurate. Excellent traditional dishes and wine at bargain prices. The owner is friendly and helpful. Recommended for anyone visiting the area, even just for sightseeing. Highly recommended!
18/09/2025: A "simple" yet surprising agriturismo! The remote location may already be charming, but the food is decidedly like grandma's Piacenza cooking—in a good way! The tortelli immediately took first place in my personal (and 40-year-old) ranking of restaurants in the valleys. The owners are friendly and kind.

Trattoria Nuova da Pinuccio

19/04/2026: We were passing by on our motorbike and I caught sight of the curious name of this trattoria, "da Pinuccio," a bit typical of our southern Italy but I think genuine Piacenza residents. Their courtesy was immediately their strong point, and the food even more so. I ate their signature dish, the PISAREI, which I must say was excellent, and those guancialini with ragù. "Oh, my bad, I'm getting richer." I highly recommend it. And especially to biker friends.
06/04/2026: Friendly and fast service. Simple place. Delicious food; we had excellent meat and amazing tagliatelle with wild boar ragù! Congratulations!
