The saltiness is just right, and for some reason, I can still eat such a huge pizza. ('-'*) Ahahaha
I especially love mushroom season from September to October!
Just a little further into the mountains, mushrooms grow so wild that they're so fresh and delicious!

14/03/2026: On the recommendation of the receptionist at the hotel where we were staying, we went to this restaurant. It offers typical Emilian cuisine. The dishes we chose were delicious and excellent value. The fried pizza and cured meats were excellent. The Parma ham from the cured meats platter was SUPERLATIVE. Pappardelle with culatello, mushrooms, and asparagus were EXCEPTIONAL. The desserts were delicious. The restaurant was welcoming and the staff were friendly. Ample parking.

10/12/2025: Nothing to say, very good piadina but too slow, it's already the second time in a short space of time that I've been here and I'm alone in the cloister and it takes more than 30 minutes... until a few years ago it wasn't like this

07/01/2026: Excellent cuisine for the New Year eve. Quite expensive taking into account wine + dinner but excellent.
Each plate was a discovery with delicate flavors and creativity.
We liked it.
The restaurant's room though is not at the level of the cuisine.

22/02/2026: Located slightly away from the center of Traversetolo. It's the perfect place to spend an unpretentious yet relaxed evening with friends. The interior isn't modern, but it's still very well-kept. We had burgers, and they were all really good. I recommend the tiramisu, which is homemade and truly excellent.

28/12/2025: The shrimp wasn't cleaned and was raw, so much so that it was very difficult to separate from its shell. The roasted swordfish was also raw. The cuttlefish was frozen and tasteless. The wait was long. I could also mention the presence of industrial oil and paper placemats and napkins at the table. Horrible, I won't be returning.
20/12/2025: A journey into the real Sicily in Parma. Generous, high-quality dishes. Friendly staff. Congratulations!

29/01/2026: We found this Neapolitan pizzeria by chance. It's spacious, clean, and welcoming. The service is attentive, courteous, and fast. The pizza is delicious, well-seasoned, and very light. There's a huge selection to choose from. Service is very fast, and there were 25 of us. The Neapolitan desserts are delicious. It was a truly enjoyable evening. We'll be happy to return.
16/01/2026: Truly excellent Neapolitan pizza, confirmed by Neapolitan friends who have tried it. Order the Regina pizza and you won't regret it.
The seafood is also excellent. Fair prices.
Convenient parking with plenty of spaces.
You'll also find a beautiful view of Salsomaggiore and a friendly, very professional welcome.
I've been frequenting this pizza restaurant for over 20 years, there must be a reason... 😉

25/12/2025: Truly authentic flavors in an osteria in the heart of the Parma mountains.
Torta fritta and quality cured meats.
First course: Bomba di riso made with thinly sliced tongue, a dish I've never tasted before and yet authentic.
Boiled cotechino and tongue.
Freshly made zabaglione from days gone by with sbrisolona.
Stone-style interior with a cast-iron stove that makes you feel right at home.
15/11/2025: Excellent food. But if you're in a hurry, this isn't the place for you. Take your time and savor the delicious dishes coming out of the kitchen. Listen to the staff's valuable recommendations, too. Prices aren't exactly those of a tavern, but you pay for quality.

10/02/2026: I stayed this weekend for the fishing fair. The food was excellent, but the mattresses and furnishings could use a makeover. The staff were friendly and helpful.
