26/05/2025: Da poco trasferiti dalle colline piacentine in centro città, iniziamo a testare i ristoranti vicino a casa. La Trappola è una "trattoria piacentina", così si definisce. Il locale, sito in zona centrale, si presenta con sale non spaziosissime e con possibilità di sedute all'aperto, piacevolmente caratterizzato. Forse l'acustica non è delle migliori, risultando abbastanza rumoroso (certo anche l'eccessiva esuberanza di certe tavolate incide parecchio). Il personale è cortese e premuroso, anche se si nota che non ha certamente fatto "l'alberghiero", ma compensano con la loro disponibilità e carineria. Menù con alti e bassi. Vellutata di fagioli e gamberi eccellente, buono e abbondante il piatto di prosciutto crudo. Meno valide le tagliatelle al radicchio con molta panna anni '80 (sic!) e poco radicchio. Il fegato alle cipolle avrebbe dovuto essere "tirato" un po' di più, perché il sughetto era particolarmente buono, ma il fegato risultava con poco sapore, un poco anonimo. Prezzo nella norma.

03/05/2025: I went there for lunch with family and friends after visiting the Ferrari museum (less than 10 minutes by car). The restaurant is just outside Maranello surrounded by greenery. All the dishes are great classics of the area's cuisine, the tortelloni Vecchia Modena are exceptional. The meat second courses are also excellent. Definitely an excellent choice for those looking for a restaurant in the Maranello area (Modena Sud motorway exit). Highly recommended.

22/05/2025: Perfect place. Relaxing, intimate atmosphere, deliberately not too "formal" and that makes you feel at home. Right wine list, with super fair prices and excellent labels. The cuisine? Wonderful, without frills that ranges from traditional to slightly more reworked dishes. Very high level. Raw materials of excellent quality, fresh seasonal. You can feel the passion and heart of the owner when you are sitting at his table. After the first time, it is impossible not to return.

25/05/2025: What sandwiches guys! Big, full, tasty! A really nice discovery. We stopped by chance on a Sunday evening in spring, leaning on a table outside. The inside of the place is very nice, the idea of ​​naming the sandwiches after the tools of a workshop makes everything more original and fun. If I may, I would suggest creating more vegetarian and even vegan options because it is a real shame that there is practically meat everywhere and that there is no real alternative (but if you want you can make your own sandwich by removing it). It is nice that the sandwiches also all have the same price, the menu is intuitive in this way.

28/04/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo con la famiglia, abbiamo mangiato tutto a base di pesce: come antipasto ho assaggiato un calamaro ripieno morbidissimo con verdure croccanti, risotto di pesce abbondante e ben cucinato, reginette fatte in casa con pomodorini e orata veramente buonissime così come la grigliata di pesce, servizio veloce e professionale, torneremo per provare la cucina tradizionale.

28/05/2025: We had an unforgettable stay at Villa Monty Banks. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, with a magnificent view and absolute tranquility. The staff was remarkably kind throughout our stay. A special mention goes to Ariana, who made our experience even more enjoyable with her attentiveness and kindness. The dinner was simply fabulous—refined, delicious, and served in an enchanting setting. A place we recommend without hesitation!

25/05/2025: Villa Monty Banks is a magical micro world on the Cesena hills that you never get tired of. The view of Cesena is spectacular, relaxing atmosphere, attentive service, attention to detail, zero-mile food, but above all the friendliness of all the staff. My friends and I felt super pampered and enjoyed a wonderful day with excellent food, music and chats by the pool. It's always a pleasure to return.

12/05/2025: Positive experience in this restaurant in Predappio Alta (dinner 11/05/2025). Characteristic restaurant located in an old cellar with a beautiful view of the hills. Very suggestive entrance with a bas-relief as decoration above the entrance door. As a starter we opted for a salad with raw ham, mushrooms, rocket and cheese sauce. Note of merit to the quality of the ham! We continued with a portion of potato tortelli with wild boar ragù, veal tartare with shallots and rustic potatoes. All very pleasant dishes. For dessert, a strawberry and chocolate tiramisu: a good conclusion to a quiet and relaxing dinner. Kind and attentive service. Correct price for quality and quantity. The innkeeper is a great host: very kind and helpful! Advise!

The atmosphere is homey and you can also get really good recommandations on local wines. Small detail but kind of important to me, the olive oil was local and really good, I haven't had such good olive oil in a restaurant ever. If you're around after a hike in the region or just passing by, don't hesitate to try it out

26/04/2025: Una cena con i fiocchi…servizio eccellente….vini sublimi e cibo squisito…sono tutti gli ingredienti che ci hanno offerto per una serata a dir poco perfetta…questo non è un comune ristorante…è come entrare nella casa di due persone che sono i padroni Cesare e Sabrina dove ti trovi a vivere una esperienza a 360 gradi…coccolati dal primo all’ultimo momento…se volete godervi qualcosa di unico nel suo genere…questo è il posto migliore!!!

06/05/2025: There are experiences that go beyond simply "eating well": they become moments to remember, to tell, to relive with a smile. The evening at Gattonero Osteria con Giardino was exactly this: a perfect mix of taste, atmosphere and, above all, wonderful company. Danilo and Tiziana, true Roman spirits, brought with them all the warmth, irony and generosity typical of the Capital. Between sincere laughter and passionate stories, they made the dinner even more special, transforming the table into a small corner of Rome. The menu? Simply sublime. We started with a textbook appetizer: soft and fragrant culatello, flakes of parmigiano reggiano seasoned to perfection, combined with a pear compote that delicately enhanced its flavor. Then, a delicious surprise: gnocchini stuffed with sausage and stringy cheese, a small indulgence that no one could resist. The cappelletti in broth, comfort food par excellence, were a hymn to tradition: handmade pasta and an intense, warm and enveloping broth. And just when you thought you had reached the peak, here is the dessert trolley, a real parade of temptations: the creamy and well-balanced trifle, the semifreddo with rich and velvety gianduia chocolate, a chocolate cake with a spicy and unexpected touch... The only regret: not having also taken the liquorice tiramisu... bold and surprising, a teaspoon was enough to elect it probably the best ever eaten. An evening like this is a reminder that good food and good company are the most powerful combination there is. Rating: 10 cum laude. I'll be back. And I'll bring friends.

06/05/2025: Al Gattonero Osteria con Giardino, ogni dettaglio sembra pensato per trasformare una semplice cena in un’esperienza da raccontare. E questa volta, il gattonero ha davvero portato fortuna: una serata perfetta sotto ogni punto di vista, resa ancora più speciale dalla compagnia travolgente di Danilo e Tiziana; due anime romane autentiche, capaci di riempire l’atmosfera di calore, allegria e quella romanità irresistibile che conquista al primo sorriso. La cucina? Un trionfo. Si è aperto con un antipasto che era già una promessa mantenuta: culatello di rara delicatezza, parmigiano reggiano stagionato con carattere e una composta di pere che legava tutto con una dolcezza elegante. A seguire, gli gnocchini ripieni di salsiccia e formaggio filante: piccoli scrigni di gusto, ricchi e appaganti. I cappelletti in brodo, caldi e avvolgenti, sapevano di casa, di domeniche in famiglia, con un brodo limpido e intenso che scaldava il cuore. Ma la vera apoteosi è arrivata con il carrello dei dolci: un girotondo di golosità che ha lasciato tutti senza parole — dalla zuppa inglese cremosa al semifreddo al gianduia, dalla torta al cioccolato con una punta di piccantezza intrigante fino all’inatteso, sorprendente tiramisù alla liquirizia(è bastato solo assaggiarne un cucchiaino). Una chiusura dolce, originale, memorabile. Insomma, se il gatto nero è tradizionalmente visto come portatore di sfortuna, questa volta ha portato solo cose belle. Ottimo cibo, risate sincere e una compagnia da incorniciare. È proprio vero: certe serate hanno un sapore speciale e questa rimarrà nel cuore a luogo. Chapeau
