02/12/2025: Very good! The portions may be a little small for the price, but the quality is there and you can taste it. I recommend the pumpkin pie, it's absolutely delicious.

09/11/2025: We were here for lunch today at Trovatore. We organized a trip to Parma and contacted this restaurant. The menu was €30.00, including mixed cold cuts, an omelette, two first courses, water, and a sbrisolona. The portions were truly ridiculous: 5 ravioli per person and 4 small bowls of gnocchi for a table of 26 people. Dessert was served on three shared plates with a couple of bowls of mascarpone cream. Obviously, it wasn't enough for the whole table. But unfortunately, it was all gone. There wasn't any left... ridiculous... we told the owner, who pretended to apologize... but by then he'd pocketed the money and didn't even bother to offer us a coffee... disappointing. It's obvious we won't be returning, and above all, we won't speak highly of the place. I'm sorry because he lost out on a few more portions... shame.

23/11/2025: When I arrived, they asked me how many people I was in. I said I was alone, and they told me there was no room for me; the restaurant was full. I said I would wait until a table became available. Surprisingly, after about five minutes, a table opened up. The dish I ordered was delicious. Towards the end, the manager was very rushed; you had to pay quickly and leave quickly. The atmosphere was too businesslike for my taste and lacked a certain friendliness.

22/11/2025: We went for Saturday lunch. The noise level was quite high, but luckily they put us in the room downstairs, which was quieter. I must say that the quality and flavor of the food were excellent: the cured meats were delicious, and the dish I absolutely recommend among the first courses is the gnocchetti dei peccati with gorgonzola and porcini mushrooms: spectacular, perfect. The desserts were also good: the panna cotta was a bit small but delicious!

01/12/2025: A very well-maintained restaurant and excellent food with thoughtful and balanced pairings. The wait staff is extremely friendly! They also pay special attention to food intolerances, with several gluten-free options available.

07/11/2025: You absolutely must make a reservation to experience the taste of world champions! The ambiance is breathtaking! Lots of racing car artwork, lots of racing driver images! The food is fantastic! They even have dumplings that Schumacher loves! The service is excellent! I always dine here whenever I'm in this town; the atmosphere makes everyone seem like a devoted Ferrari fan!

03/11/2025: The location is very well-maintained, although given its rural setting, I found the furnishings to be very cold and out of step with the exterior. The lights were too low. The owners didn't welcome you at the entrance; the service was prompt, but always very cold. The first negative was the lack of a tablecloth, and the wood grain on the plates, glasses, and cutlery didn't strike a chord with me. They immediately brought me a small menu for the paid aperitif... in a Michelin-starred restaurant, you expect a complimentary welcome glass! Another negative was the fixed menu... if someone chooses the (fixed) fish menu, everyone else at the table must also eat fish. Secondly, something important for me as a sommelier, the wine list is only available on a tablet, and is sorted alphabetically by producer, grape variety, and country... I would have preferred it to be sorted by geographical area. I'm looking for a Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire... it's not there, only three Chenin Blancs from the Loire... I'm looking at Alto Adige, only seven still whites, not a Pinot Blanc... I could go on, because the cellar doesn't have the depth you'd expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. Fish dishes: in my opinion, fish has never been the star because the dishes were dominated by an excess of vegetables—prominently spectacular, but often overdone. At the end of the dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant, the chef should come out and introduce himself to the guests, perhaps explaining the dishes. Tastes are entirely personal; I certainly found the menu to be sophisticated, but I had built up expectations and was a bit disappointed.

02/11/2025: Ca' Matilde was a fantastic journey through flavors, ingredients, attention to detail, friendliness, and impeccable craftsmanship. I highly recommend this experience, and I hope to return.
