Parlor In Bologna

I celebrated my birthday at Parlor in July 2026 and we had a table outside. The terrace is not huge but it was great to sit outside on a warm evening. The menu includes many of the classical dishes of the region but they are presented better and they also have a great wine list. We started with anchoves serves with bread butter made from buffalo milk - and Parmigiana di melanzane. The Parmigiana di melanzane was beautifully presented and tasted equally good. We got a delicious Pinot Nero from the Dolomites area that worked well as it is a lighter red wine. We also had a great Tortellini in brodo and Cappelletti with squaquerone (small stuffed pasta). Squaquerone is a local soft cheese that is often served together with various cold cuts. We ended with grilled meat that was nice and tender together with friggione - a local dish made up of fried onions and tomatoes. If youa re looking for a place that serves up the flavours of Bologna in a more elevated way and that has a great wine list, you should consider stopping by Parlor.

The waiter in the white shirt may have chosen the wrong profession (?)... The other two colleagues, a man and a woman (in black uniforms), were excellent. Otherwise, a decent experience.

I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant with my friends. The food was served quickly and tasted fresh and delicious. The employees were cheerful and always had a smile on their faces. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It was one of the best restaurant visits I have had.

We ordered the salmon and anchovies as an antipasto, followed by lasagna and pasta ragu. Excellent!

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, it being my first day in Bologna, and from the very beginning, the waiter who welcomed us was very kind, helpful, and professional. The food was excellent, prepared with love and care, and it showed in the dishes. It was the best culinary experience we've ever had. I haven't read the other reviews, but I think you deserve to go far. Kudos to the chef, well done! 👏

Yummy food. Service took quite a long time. Overall nice servers, but we felt neglected as it took us 2 hours and 45 minutes for a simple diner. As a large American I was still hungry after…
