30/03/2025: Splendid location of an ancient farmhouse. The environment is rustic but very well-kept, the service is courteous and fast. Excellent dishes and of excellent quality, especially the homemade pasta. Genuine and quality products used to give life to traditional Romagna preparations, able to satisfy every palate. To conclude, you can't miss tasting one of the excellent desserts of the house. The outdoor garden is also very beautiful.

23/02/2025: After seeing the comic sketches on fb of the restaurant and the traditional Emilian-Romagnola dishes, we decided to treat ourselves to an evening of flavor and joy. You enter a single environment that already offers a sense of conviviality, objects hanging on the walls such as photos, snowballs, wine houses, toys recall a family experience and immediately put you at ease. The staff welcomes you with kindness. Tasty and fragrant dishes, but the green tagliatelle with nettle and grandma Iole's ragù are truly the best in the world, as the owner says!!!!! Beautiful evening! We will return.

22/02/2025: A simply wonderful place. Small location (reservation is a must) and characteristic managed by very kind guys. Even the chef came out of the kitchen to find out if we had enjoyed lunch! The tagliatelle with meat sauce are truly exceptional... but the whole menu is truly noteworthy. Watch out for the portions because we exaggerated with the dishes and unfortunately we weren't able to taste the desserts! The eggnog inspired us a lot.. it's far from home but we will definitely be back.. and next time we will save a little hole for dessert! Well done, good, good

26/03/2025: I had a dinner with my friends. We eat empanadas and bruschette as appetisers and parillada as main course. We really loved the meat taste and the level of cooking was perfect. We appreciate the tequila sal y limon at the end and the kindness of all staff. I hope to come back soon.

Il sito, le foto, lo stesso Tripadvisor… non rendono onore alla qualità dei prodotti e alla piacevolezza del servizio proposti da questa struttura…. Bravi tutti… Ogni volta che riesco ad andare penso già alla volta successiva che riuscirò a ritagliarmi del tempo per la vecchia baracca …. Ovviamente è un pensiero personale, tuttavia è quanto vivo in questo locale. Ciao Andrea

22/12/2024: Excellent trattoria, we ate starters, homemade pasta first courses, tagliatelle with mushrooms, very good perhaps too much garlic for my tastes, meat as second courses, very good lamb ribs, excellent cut, tender, tasty, we also tasted a plate of abundant snails with a truly mouth-watering sauce accompanied with good bread. Well done, positive experience to be absolutely recommended. Welcoming, informal environment, friendly staff, spending 40 euros per person.

11/03/2025: We went on Sunday for lunch, it was the first time, but we will definitely be back, small but nice atmosphere, few tables but so you are served with more care and you feel at home, the food was excellent, we had a fish starter, fried fish and fish tortelli, plentiful and all very soft, so you can feel the freshness of the product, even the excellent desserts, and all at a really competitive price for fish, the staff was very nice and kind, we will definitely be back to try other dishes.

17/02/2025: The food is excellent: I tried the potato tortellini with porcini mushrooms, a delicious dish. The service is fast and the staff, kind and welcoming, helps to make the experience even more pleasant. The value for money is really super! I won't say too much about the wine, as I'm a teetotaler, but the rest is definitely worth trying!

01/04/2025: Amazing Experience! A truly exceptional restaurant! We initially tried to get a table the night before but, unfortunately, they were fully booked. However, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us, although it was a little too late. We returned the following evening, and it was absolutely worth the wait! The service, food, and atmosphere were all outstanding. The staff made us feel incredibly welcome, and we were even impressed by how dog-friendly the restaurant is! If you're visiting Bologna, I wholeheartedly recommend this place – without a doubt, it's the best meal I've had in Italy.

23/03/2025: Yesterday we went to Vamolino with some friends and spent a very pleasant evening. We had booked for 8.30pm and as soon as we arrived the table was ready. In summary: • Exquisite food and fair value for money • Fast and attentive service • Very nice, clean and lively environment We will definitely return and recommend it to anyone who is in Bologna and doesn't know where to eat :)

05/04/2025: Nice and welcoming place like the staff. Excellent food. Excellent quality cured meats and cheeses, delicious croutons. That day on the menu there were herb tortelli and gnocchi with sauce as a first course, the gnocchi were really light and delicious. Second course wild boar and polenta. We devoured the dish because of how good it was. In addition there is the possibility of seeing the cows and calves. We had a really good time and would happily recommend it.

27/01/2025: Chef Max Poggi's cuisine is a pinnacle of gastronomy, the dishes are all made with extreme care and are extraordinarily good. The place is sober and elegant, the staff is formal, kind, efficient but rightly discreet, it is a place where nothing is missing but there is nothing too much. The wine list is very well stocked and contains non-trivial labels together with some classics so you are spoiled for choice, the possible choice by the glass guarantees the right wine for all courses. Top choice, the 8-course tasting costs 85 euros (as written on their website) and is the one I recommend to fully enjoy the imagination and mastery of the chef. Large reserved parking in front of the restaurant.

30/03/2025: Trattoria immersed in the hills of Guiglia. Typical dishes of the Emilian tradition and some reinterpretations. Strongly recommended to everyone. Friendly staff and fast service. Given the quality/quantity of the food, the price is excellent. 2025 update: still yummy and excellent service.
